Ever since the «remodel» the rental area has been completely ruined. The walkway between the wall and the shelves is so narrow it makes it impossible to browse new releases without constantly bumping into someone. Plus, they’ve consalidated all of the rentals onto one wall instead of spreading them out over 3 walls. Its difficult to browse any new titles. I’m finished with this location, and I’ve been renting there for over 15 years. I’ll be renting from the fairview location from now on.

We are used to having a Hastings around so we are accustomed to it. It has everything from books to music to coffee to games and gifts. Chairs are available to lounge, (not enough though) and coffee to keep you alert. The service is always fantastic, very helpful and friendly. We don’t rent our movies there anymore (Netflix!) but the used music and books can be a great bargain. If you need a bigger selection, hit up Borders or B&N. Otherwise, a great place to wander around and fill your desire for the electronic and writing world.
