Chick-fil-A

I just can’t get over how nice their employees are. I downloaded their app and fumbled around with it for about 10 minutes at the register trying to get my free sandwich. The girl helping with me was polite and courteous the whole time. To top it off, their chicken sandwich really is the best fast food chicken sandwich: thick white meat with a thin breading and the perfect amount of spices.

Best chicken and best service. Seriously award winning. Best place around… Sure they don’t support gays or whatever but their chicken is so damn good… And don’t even get me started on their Chick-​fil-​A sauce it is more addictive than heroin and crack. Between you and me sometimes I buy their extra large tube and lick out of it…

Fast friendly service. Restaurant was clean. Order was ready before I could get my napkins and sit down. Fries were a bit soggy but I could have ordered crispy.

The great thing about Chick-​fil-​A is that YES, it’s fast food, but YES, you can also score a reasonably healthy meal for a low price and it comes with fast, friendly service. Chick-​fil-​A is my favorite (and in my opinion) the highest quality fast food.
Food: What I love about Chick-​fil-​A is that you get options. If you want the chicken sandwich, fries and a milkshake – by all means, it’s all yours! But you also have the option of ordering super (for the most part) healthy for cheap with the grilled chicken nuggets, a superfood side or side salad, and even a Greek yogurt parfait or fruit cup side. I eat a lot of chicken & veggies to fuel my workouts, and the grilled nuggets are super-​juicy and when paired with the kale superfood side, make for a totally balanced and full meal. I love how upfront Chick-​fil-​A is with their nutrition, including info for sauces & sides, so that I can make easy decisions each time I go.
Drinks: Great soda fountain, delicious iced tea, and awesome milk shakes. Their coffee is also good, too!
Atmosphere: The great thing about Chick-​fil-​A is that it’s always so clean and well-​kept inside. You don’t feel like you’re sitting at dirty tables and even get to enjoy fresh-​cut flowers at every table. I think that the bright & airy environments make Chick-​fil-​A really nice if you’re going to go in and enjoy your quick bite. I also love that they offer outdoor seating.
Service: The service at Chick-​fil-​A cannot be beat for fast food. The kids who work there (they always seem like kids to me), are always so respectful and kind. They seem to really enjoy what they do!
Happy Hour Offerings: n/​a though if you’re in Boise, check your mail for discounts & coupons. We often get coupon cards in the mail!
Healthy Hack: Grilled 8 count nuggets (high protein, low in fat & carbs) and superfood side (not too high in carbs). Great choices and delicious flavor for very good macro numbers.

Came in this morning and had a weird experience.
The guy helping me (I won’t say his name, but he drives a silver 4-​door with plate ending in 180) had just pulled-​in right after me, but he parked in the very front spot closest to the door. Thought that was strange for an employee but okay.
He went to clock in, then he stood behind the counter with his hands in his pockets, staring vacantly out into space. I watched him help some people and even serve them some drinks, but he never washed his hands and kept putting them back into his pockets. Very unsanitary.
It was my turn to be helped, and he asked what I wanted. However, he wasn’t even looking at me, but staring off into space again, with his hands back in his pockets. So I made my order and made sure to ask for a bottle of water in lieu of a soft drink, because I didn’t want to deal with the germs (lot of stomach viruses going around). He was very standoffish, I’m not sure why.
When I sat back at the table, I watched him help a lot of people and serve food without ever washing his hands.
As a long time chic fil a fan and former employee, I’ll do the courtesy of a 3-​star review. Even though my order came out wrong, on top of it all. But the staff needs some serious help with food handling.

I have since been back numerous times and service has always been super friendly. I’m usually there in the morning for my chicken breakfast burrito, and Chris (if I’m recalling correctly) is super sweet. The quality (dry tortilla) and size of the burritos can vary pretty widely from time to time but not matter as they’re always delicious.

I have eaten at lot of Chick Fil A’s around the country. This one in Boise at some of the nicest staff around. The food is the same great quality it’s at the other restaurant. This one is close to Boise State University and easy walking distance to the stadium.

This was my first time trying Chick fil a, and I loved it. The location is in a pretty busy spot so it was pretty hectic inside. Despite being busy we got our food fairly quickly!
After trying chick fil a I wish we had one closer to where I live!

I never thought I would give a food chain corporation four stars…
I was extremely surprised by how great my spicy chicken sandwich was. Customer service spot on. Atmosphere great for what it is.

I’ve already come to terms with my hypocrisy on where the organization (Chic Fil-​A) stands with relation to politics and what not but the food is outstanding, so I support them in that regard. We knew there was a location in Boise, so we decided to stop off and have some grub. I ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich combo and it was great. Service was fast and friendly and we had just made it in before the lunch time crunch, so that was nice.
Keep in mind that this location does not offer to table side «refresh» your beverage refills like the Pasadena (CA) location does. You can still get unlimited refills here but you have to go up to the counter for them.
They now offer something called «Frosted Lemonade,» which is their lemonade with ice cream. It looks like a lemonade shake. I’ll have to see if the Pasadena location out here offers that one, because it looked good.

It was clean and the food was made to order and made quickly. They even, came around and asked how are meal was… as if we were in a regular sit down restaurant.
I was pretty impressed. A little pricey but otherwise done up pretty well

When compared to other fast food type restaurant there big juicy chicken breast sandwiched blow everyone out of the water. My daughter loves there chicken nuggets. Im not a big fan of her eating chicken nuggets anywhere else. Chick fil A is fresh and clean. There fries are salty and crispy and usually always fresh. The sauces are also amazing i recommend the chick-​fil-​a sauce which is by far my favorite. Very good for dipping fries, nuggets, and even your chicken sandwich. My daughter and i love there lemonade. Its a must try!

People either seem to love or hate Chik-​fil-​A– and I don’t mean because of their politics. I am on the love side because of the basic Chik-​fil-​A sandwich. Sometimes I like ‘frills’ in my food, but most of the time simple, tasty and filling will do the job. A bun, some dill pickle and a wonderfully seasoned fried (or broasted maybe?) chicken breast are all that it takes at this chicken shack. In the mood for a bit of a breakfast mix up? Try the chicken egg and cheese bagel. The sunflower seed bagel seems more steamed than toasted, and proportionality of chicken versus egg versus cheese (to me) is a perfect one. They DO have deluxe sandiwches for those who simply can’t live without lettuce and tomato, they offer salads, a chicken salad sandwich and a few other options too. Their waffle fries are okay. But the basic chicken sandwich holds the spotlight for me at Chik-​fil-​A. One serious warning I will give is about the location. The corner of Broadway & Front is a busy one, getting in and out of the parking lot can be time consuming and tricky– so be sure to five yourself plenty of time to get your chicken on!

I’m so happy that there’s not one of these near my place or I would constantly be going for a spicy chicken sandwich. or at least try something everything off there menu.

Stopped here after a downtown 5k Color Run and there was a line of cars leaving the parking lot — ChickfilA staff was awesome! They walked around taking orders ahead of time and got us all through quickly. Very well done.
From superhero day to Santa Claus visits, it’s impressive how many events they have. Pretty cool place.

I’m a fan of Chic-​fil-​a and this one doesn’t disappoint.
Employees are friendly and helpful (the morning manager Dominic is especially awesome!).
Food is always hot and delicious.
Location is great— close enough to downtown to be accessible, but still have easy parking and not a pain to get in/​out of.
I will add the one caveat that the first few months this location opened, they would slightly mess up my order about ¹⁄₃ of the time (spicy sandwich instead of regular, etc.) which was frustrating. I put a note about this in the «suggestion» box, and something changed. I don’t think I’ve had a messed up an order since then. Great job!

Not a thing wrong with this restaurant. If you are reading this and you have had a chicken sandwich, we guess what. 1. It wasn’t as delicious as this chicken sandwich. And 2. The chicken sandwich was invented by chick fil a. Therefore, any chicken sandwich you’ve ever eaten and enjoyed is because of chick fil a. Does that sound like anything less than a 5 star restaurant to you? I don’t think so. How about we go give the inventor of the pizza 2 stars as well or maybe the inventor of the hot dog, does he deserve 2 stars? Absolutely fuckin not. And to anyone who gives it a low rating because of the CEO, I can’t seem to remember the last time a personal opinion having nothing to do with food actually effected food quality and taste. This is a class A restaurant and deserves nothing less than 5 stars. Did I even mention that they come and ask you if you would like your drink refilled without you even getting up?! The service is outstanding and they treat it as their pleasure to serve you. This is better service than the torch lounge if you ask me, and they keep their clothes on at chick fil a. If you don’t like this place you are a bad person.

I don’t think the people who previously reviewed this place went to the same Chick Fil A as me. The service literally feels like I’m in heaven being served by gods angels. The chicken is so satisfying that it would be a pretty safe assumption to say you’re in love. I got my food so quick I couldn’t even sit down before it was in my hands! And that is not a complaint. It’s very family friendly and being Hispanic I really appreciate that. Definitely will be coming again and again!

I would take my kids a few times a week but I am just tired of having them miss ingredients on my sandwich, sometimes food is cold, thinks I didn’t even order i get, tonight I waited for about 15 minutes on my order because they messed up on someone else’s order, I can hear them apologizing to people in front, finally got to the window no apology for the wait nothing just the amount, what a joke, I am done with this. I hope this people realize that the actions towards a customer are more valuable then a fake smile, people are not stupid.

Would be nice to have a fast chicken sandwich to break up the burger blues now and again, and these are reasonable. Too bad the franchise CEO has to be such a loud-​mouthed biggot.
And people are right, what a cluster – that Broadway site architect needs to be retroactively fired for a totally messed up parking lot and entrance situation.
Update: Seems the CEO is making some amends for his past problems with diversity. Will likely stop by more often.

The service was excellent!
We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door by a very friendly clerk. Our food was out before I even got back from the restroom… now THAT is Fast Food! The sandwich was just so so in my opinion. The flavor was good, but the breading on the spicy chicken had gotten wet from the lettuce that was dripping water onto my napkin.
The most memorable event was when an older gentleman who worked there came to our table to see if we needed anything and promptly refilled my sons soda pop!
Next time I am in the mood for breaded chicken, Chick Fil A will be my first stop.

You better look both ways and then look again fast food fried chicken fans! A pedestrian entering this Chic-​fil-​A from the parking lot is bound to get plowed by a car due to the drive-​thru lane passing directly in front of the main entrance to the restaurant.
Even though Chic-​fil-​A has placed signage for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic informing each about the potential for a collision, that is a piss poor solution to this obvious design flaw in my opinion. When walking, a pedestrian must be constantly on their guard and that is not the kind of welcome one expects. What was the person who signed-​off on this design thinking? Ridiculous.
As for the food and other aspects to the restaurant, I have no idea why this place is so wildly popular — it is fast food fried chicken and waffle fries after all. Maybe people are used to eating bad fried chicken or something and this is a cut above other fast food places that when one consumes mediocre it actually seems to taste good?
My experience didn’t convince me to become a regular, but this Chic-​fil-​A does deserve some praise for its execution in the QSR category. The restaurant was squeaky clean, the fried chicken was hot as were the waffle fries, and the counter people were friendly and efficient. This seems like it should be the standard across all restaurants of this type, however it is too bad that this standard is seldom met, this Chic-​fil-​A does.

Really good fast food, not a big fast food fan but this is a place i just had to try. Really like the coating on their spicy chicken sandwich and the fact that they use pepperjack. Fast and friendly service, the bun was really greasy but that was the only thing i didnt like!

This was my first visit to Chick Fil-​A in many years. I went the day after they opened and was expecting it to be busy. Surprisngly enough, it wasn’t slammed. It’s obvious that the staff is new, order taking process was clunky, but that will improve over time. My complaint about this location is NOT the food or the service, but the way the building was placed in the lot. Drive thru lines block access to other businesses on the same block and the thought (if there was any) about traffic flow vs the MEGA busy intersection was definitely lacking.

This is Chick Fil-A’s first foray into Boise and it’s a major hit. There was a lot of fanfare around the grand opening, including givaways for free meals for a year. The place opened last week and the crowds are still going strong, as are the staff. The employees here are very enthusiastic and the service is excellent. Despite the crowds they were quick to take orders and hand-​deliver my sandwich to me via someone walking my take-​out bag around the counter. Oh, and their sandwiches are awesome.
