Chipotle Mexican Grill

I’ve never been one to rave about Chipotle. I know the restaurant has some die hard fans, but I don’t get it. It’s not that the food is bad, it’s just that it’s fairly unremarkable to me.
I gave them another try recently after getting a free burrito coupon while they were shut down for a couple hours to do a staff meeting on food safety. The restaurant looked tidy and bright which was appreciated.
The burrito itself, carnitas, which I usually love at Mexican joints, was fairly bland. The flavored just don’t pop for me. I get the hottest hot sauce and it’s just hot, missing any nuance of flavor. While I enjoy their guacamole, I have to wipe each tortilla chip off with a napkin. They are unforgivingly salty.
All in all, not my fav. But speedy service and clean facilities are nice.

Could be great food. Why can’t they cook it fresh? It seems like the chicken is dried out. I get the impression they cook it early in the day and in their rush to push customers through, the food suffers.

I really like their food but I don’t like the way the workers treat customers. The food quantity is always less than other Chipotle stores!!! But the price is the same :(

The crew at this restaurant are amazing and so kind. People complain about them being short, but you have to realize if you go in there at 12 they have a huge line so they are trying to get people out as quick as possible.
I’ve stopped by around 2 – 3 when the line dies down and they are more than happy to actually have a conversation as they make your burrito. The place is almost always clean and that includes the soda area. Love coming here when I go shop at Trader Joes or go catch a movie across the way

This place was filthy. Most of the tables were dirty and when I brought it to the employees attention no one did anything. Also, their coke dispenser was spitting out diet coke. Again no one seemed to care.

My preferred Chipotle here in Boise, the food is MUCH less salty than I’ve experienced at the Milwaukee Chipotle and luckily it’s closer to my office. Been here a couple of times during the lunch hour, the lines can be long but they’re pretty efficient at moving people through. I’m surprised to see the poor customer service reviews as they’ve always been great. But I also prefer the lack of small talk. I don’t really like to talk about my day with everyone I run across. To each his own. *shrug*

I come here at least 3 times a week. The customer service and attitude of the employees could really use some work. I was ordering my usual chicken salad with extra lettuce (because I put nothing on it) while the girl putting lettuce in my bowl was mid action of dropping lettuce in another employee comes over and rips it out of her hand and says «that’s enough» even though he had not heard me ask for extra. She says «she asked for extra lettuce» and his response in front of me «ya, well that’s enough» he then sloppily scoots my bowl down the line throwing some cheese and flopping sour cream in it like he was so put out out that I had come in there. This wasn’t the first time I’ve been shocked by the attitudes and unfriendliness of the staff.

Being a past employee of Chipotle, I’m aware of the kinds of people they hire. They don’t just hire anyone looking for work, they look for people who are team-​oriented and driven to move up. Knowing this, I go into every Chipotle, expecting to be greeted happily, as well as make sure I reciprocate that greeting. I visited on 7÷21÷2015. It was busy as usual because it was right around lunch time. I wait about 1 minute in line, which is normal. When I get to the young lady working the tortilla press, She says, ‘What can I get for you?’ Straight face, no emotion, just neutral, which caught me off guard. I ask how her day is going, hoping she’ll feel better, because I’ve been there before. She states, ‘Fine, so what can I get for you?’ At this point, it’s a lost cause. Not only did she come off unenthusiastic, she ruined a customer connection. And I can guarantee other customers noticed her uninviting
Other than that, everyone else on the line was friendly. The food was okay as usual. The chips were a little salty, Guacamole had some brown chunks in it, which I’ve experienced before.

So, I’ve eaten at chipotle all over the country and love this place. However, this location is not representative of the others I’ve been to. Last time I was here I found completely raw chicken in my rice bowl. Amazingly, I didn’t get sick. This time, the table next to me asked for a manager and showed him a fly in their burrito! Needless to say, I probably won’t be coming back here. Those are two pretty big errors I my book.

Quick service, helpful staff, and pretty awesome food. I decided to go here because my boyfriend wanted burritos… While I’m not a huge fan of them myself, the ones that I got were pretty delicious. :)

Litterally eat here 3 times a week. If I’m hungry I get the burrito but if I just want flavor I get the tacos. Alway go both beans and always go half safritas half chicken. It will change your life. Amen.
