I was on my way to eat there today because I heard your business was down as a result of the construction then I heard you fired people instead of keeping them on for the duration of this project which I believe is the right thing to do so from this point on I will boycott Baja Fresh do the right thing

Won’t be going back for a long time, at least until the Broadway bridge project is complete. I called and ordered take out from this location last night and completely forgot until I drove down there to get it that there is massive construction on that end of Broadway. When I finally was able to navigate through the orange barrels to get to the restaurant it was extremely obvious before even walking in that their business is suffering due to the construction. The normally lively and loud dining room was completely empty, not a soul in sight. I walked up to pay for my food and noticed mop water on the floor in the kitchen and the entire salsa bar had been loaded onto a cart to be put away and there weren’t even any to-go containers to use with the sauces available that I could see. I got my food and checked the bag and asked for a small container of extra sour cream. After an eye roll, the girl carefully moved her way across the soapy kitchen floor, got the sour cream out of the fridge since they had already packed up the kitchen apparently, put the squeezer thing back together and dispensed some into a cup for me. As she did this I started to feel really bad thinking I’d placed my order right as they were closing and I was making her go to extra work. However, on my way out I checked their hours on the door, says they close on Monday nights at 8pm. I then checked the clock in my car when I got back in and it was only 7:15!!! I’ve worked in restaurants before and I can completely understand doing your closing duties a little before closing, especially when the restaurant is a ghost town like it was last night but if it’s before closing you have to at least make sure that you can still properly service customers that come in. If you’re packing up the whole kitchen, salsa bar, and mopping the floors, you should just close the doors and not take anymore orders. I felt like an inconvenience to the workers, didn’t get any sauces to actually have my food the way I wanted it and got attitude from the worker for being there. And when you’re charging $ 2.99 per tiny taco for something that is 3 – 4 bites of food, your customer service better be on top of their game to keep my business. If the construction isn’t hurting your business then your employees are.

Good fresh food. Small menu that is focused and delicious. Good price as well. They have a really good salsa bar to boot.

Happily moved into a new office near this store. The fish tacos and shrimp tacos are excellent, and you can buy just one. Even ordered it using the bajafresh app. Consistent, quick, reasonable serving size and tastes great for a reasonable price. Hard to beat. Every store I have been into has pretty much been the same. Little tough on first timers to figure out what is what on the menu, but it all comes together and after the meal is gone, I’m happy and content. ‘nuf said…

Stop #2 on our pre-Humanitarian Bowl-funking. We needed something to soak up some of the alcohol — I’m not as young as I once was — and since I knew that we could drink a beer and eat some OK Mexican food all on the same block as the bars that we were hitting right across the street from Bronco Stadium, Baja Fresh was the choice. A taco salad and a Negro Modelo is just what we needed an hour before game time. And we met some Boise State fans that were rooting for Bowling Green, so we had something to bond over.

This is a decent place to get some fresh mexican food. The menu is not as big as a sit down mexican restaurant, but a trade off since you do get your food quickly. Not many chips are included with the meal but you can order more. They have a salsa bar that has a nice selection to choose from. Plenty of seating and the price isn’t bad. Again, very fresh and not a greasy Taco Bell style fast food place. Will be coming here again since we also picked up a points card there.
