I have a secret to share! It’s something I can’t hid from Unilocalers anymore! This is hard for me to express, but here goes… I love Karaōke! I mean really love it. There is no better thrill then to sing and listen to people out of tone, it’s a experience if you’ve never done it before. I love serenading complete strangers with my tone def optic range. This night was the first night I went to the Lizard Lounge. It was one of the most entertaining places I have gone as far as Karaōke is concerned. Walking in you see video games hooked up and people playing, that’s huge because I game. The place has a modern, slash, retro look to it. Dark lighting with laser lights all around set the mood with tall boy seating and coaches all around. The crowd was awesome as well. I danced with people I just met to music ruined by patrons who in there mind believe«American Idle» is in there future. This place is awesome for drinks too. I don’t drink but the prices are really fair. The six of us who went had a really good time! I will definitely be going more often to allow my musical talent to be shared with the world. I know you are wondering what song I sang and I will tell you, it’s a song that stands the test of time by a real artist never forgotten. It was Luther Vandross’ Here and Now! Yeah ladies, eat that up and imagine the possibilities.

I just had my 30th birthday there last night and I had a blast. I brought about 30 of my friends in the bar and we sang our hearts out. I will be back here numerous times. Also the bartenders are super nice and Jay the manager is awesome and I would recommend doing your birthday at the Lizard Lounge

What an awesome little place. The outside does not do it justice at all. When you walk in the décor is great, they have video games everywhere to play, the bartenders are super friendly and the karoke makes this place the total package. They even put my video on their Facebook page. All in all, the best karoke place on long Island hands down. Thanks Lizard Lounge staff you made my birthday that much better :)

For a while, I’ve been looking for a good karaōke bar on Long Island. Last night, I finally found that. Me and my friend went here last night and it was so much fun. Not only did they have karaōke, but they had video games there too! Such a cool place overall. I’m definitely coming back here a lot more in the future.

The best sound and light I have seen anywhere in a long island night club/bar. In fact the sound is better than most Manhattan or Miami clubs. Very pleased.

I had no expectations when I came here this past Saturday night. All I knew was I wanted to dance. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Although there was a much smaller turnout than expected for a Saturday night, those who were there all seemed to be having a good time. Those who sang karaōke seemed to be regulars and boy were they talented! Drinks were well priced and there were tons of games to play on old school consoles including Sega genesis. How fun! Overall, it was a no-fuss fun night.

State of the art sound system… for karaōke… okaaaaaaay. Nice big stage… for karaōke… okaaaaay. All these fancy lights… well okay! Lizard Lounge is spacious, more long than square. The first area you come to is a sort of lobby separated by a purple cloth(doesn’t look as bad as it sounds) from the main bar area. The DJ area is off to the left and slightly elevated. Following that is the performance(area) stage with tables and stools for audience, and finally a tiny lounge area just before the toilets at the back. The back door was also kept open on that beautiful yet rainy evening. Everyone was so super friendly. Immediately as I got to the door I was engulfed in a warmth of friendliness from strangers. Patrons, bartender, singers, everyone genuinely warm and how can you not have a great time in this sort of environment. If you’re a professional karaōke stalker sorry I meant singer, you may not enjoy this venue only because EVERYONE and their mothers(hail out to the granny that did an excellent job as I was walking in), sing here. Everyone! So I don’t imagine you having lots of opportunity to hug the mike. No sah, that list is long. On my departure a few hours later the DJ/Host was still going«aaaaand we have a first time singer tonight *insert name* come on up». I prefer spots where there’s a break in between the 5 or 6 people doing their thing and the DJ rather than this American Idol auditions. But don’t get me wrong, it was still very much fun filled. I had a great time! The End.

Lizard Lounge is a great venue for karaōke, cocktails, karaōke ad cocktails. One thing though… two fers ala Lizard Lounge means that the bartender/tendress literally serves two you martinis at the same time. As if… Putting the tepid second drink aside for a moment, the Lizard Lounge is an awesome place to channel your inner rock star.

I do karaōke here with a meetup group once in a blue moon. This bar is in a little shopping area next to a grocery store, so parking is not a problem. The drinks are expensive though, so no Martini unless you want to pay $ 14. Stick with the beer on tap, which is decent. They serve hot pizza, which is pretty good, but that was it as far as food and drink when I was there. The bar set up is narrow and the karaōke stage is elevated in the back.

I found this local spot on Unilocal of course because a friend of mine wanted to go for karaōke. Even though my style of karaōke is in a private group amongst friends only… we didn’t want to drive to flushing or the city for it. So I found this karaōke bar and the birthday girl decided to go here after dinner. There wasn’t really anything bad about this place. Nice vibe and okay size… well narrow in a way but this place wasn’t extremely pack. They had plenty of music books for everyone to look at. The music list book was located all over at the bar. So glad it wasn’t just one book. All great singers… it just makes me think… are they the same people who comes out here every week singing the same song? If yes no wonder they are so good. Haha jk

Always a good time, always an awesome crowd! I LOVE the Lizard Lounge, I honestly cannot sing to save my life but I still have so much fun singing. Everyone is so nice here, they have awesome drinks and the nicest bartenders EVER! Even if you don’t sing, it’s still great to go with your friends, dance and have fun! Jay the owner is awesome and always introduces himself and makes sure everything is above and beyond!

With the exception of purely Karaōke bars, the Lizard Lounge is probably the best known K-bar on Long Island. Friendly atmosphere and great selection makes this a top draw for anyone looking to belt out a few songs.
