This place is OK nothing more. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and is very casual. I ordered the meatball, buffalo mozzarella, and calamari with a bottle of wine. The calamari is very good but the meatball not so much and the mozzarella was nothing to get excited about. I agree that the service is not very good. Never checked on the table and ended up pouring glasses of wine myself. Nothing to remember here.

Normally we enjoy Table 42 very much but today for some reason they were way off. The place wasnt busy at all and our server just wasnt on the ball. My friend Brenda and I ordered Iced teas which took a little bit to get and we waited for the bread which they are always very frugal with(we always have to ask for more) and ordered 2 salads. I got the chop chop salad which was delicious and my friend brenda had the salmon salad which came out with an over amount of blackened seasoning which was very salty. After scraping it off the salmon was good. We will be back because the restaurant is close to the office. Tighten it up Table 42…

For lunch, this place has a great ‘make your own salad’ option that lets you put some really yummy things in(think roasted peppers, avocado, etc.) and is a large portion. Their truffle fries are also pretty delicious, but then again, truffle fries are pretty hard to mess up. For lunch, I would come back. For dinner, I’m okay. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday, and ordered two pasta dishes. The bread that came to the table was really strange for an Italian place as it was two triangles of what seemed to be whole wheat pita. Just really, really weird. And also, not very good. It came with a good garnish/sauce thing, and I guess I shouldn’t be so judgemental of free bread, but I don’t believe in presenting things if they aren’t good anyway. I ordered the spinach and shrimp risotto(after forgetting the shrimp in my salad from a previous time wasn’t all that impressive, being just boiled, small, presumably frozen from the look shrimp). The risotto was cooked well(soft like it should be), but the taste just wasn’t there. My mother’s pasta was still crunchy and unimpressive for the price. For an Italian place, pastas didn’t seem to be their strength. Service is OK. A little slow, took me awhile to get silverware the second time, and I was just brought a fork, no napkin or anything(it hadn’t been left on our table in the first place) so that was weird. I would think this is a good lunch place for a salad packed full of veggies, but if you are looking for some good pasta, search out one of the many other Italian places around.

They have pizza night where a pie is $ 8. OK, so that gets you crust and sauce so then you start adding toppings and for a real pie prices can stack up but its still about $ 16 per person. Which is tolerable. The pizza is good but nothing to write home about. The service was horrible. We waited for about 30 minutes for the food and the waitress said«we’re really busy on pizza night so they take a long time» — OK, you’re running a special and you’re not prepared to handle the business? Just a really bad excuse considering we got there at the end of the dinner rush and there were plenty of empty tables. Parking is horrible. This isn’t a problem specific to Table 42, all the restaurants in that shopping center suffer the same problem so with my experience at the restaurant and the parking issues its just not worth my time to go back.

Ok, so I used to be a fan, but no more. It’s not that Table 42 is bad, it’s just no big deal. The food was relatively tasteless, the service was friendly but slow, and there were only 3 tables seated. They used to have amazing pizza, but they have changed it and now it competes with Papa Johns. I had a pasta with Pomodoro sauce, and I can make better in my microwave. The salmon was ok, again, not bad, but not worth coming here for. This is the 2nd time we have been there recently, with the same mediocre results. The prices are high, the food and service are ok. Sorry with so many restaurants in Boca, we won’t be coming back.

Loved the half off bottle wine deal on Monday but the meatball was cold and still cold after they brought it back out from the kitchen… Hamburgers are good!

We have eaten at table 42 several times and found the food to be very good and the Service excellent. We had an unfortunate incident tonight. With the manager rob. My first comment is that rob walks around with a scowl on his face all night long. All the other employees smile an really add to t he divining experience . I ordered a vodka martini when our party was seated. When the waiter poured it his comment was that the bartender Must have made a mistake since the glass was only one quarter full. He said and he did bring. Another one that was the right size. When the check came I was charged for two drinks, the manager(rob) came Over and in a belligerent and obnoxious manner said that since I ordered two drinks that I would have to pay for them. His attitude and loudness of his voice caused all the tables near us to stop eating and listen to his ranting. You have lost many customers tonight because of a short drink and a rude manager.

Amazing truffle fries and truffle pizza at $ 36 it should be, but do not be deceived, those are not shaved truffles Ontop of the pizza but just mushrooms. Also ordered the beet salad with truffle vinaigrette and there was two pIeces of beets in my salad and barely much truffle flavor in the dressing.:(not worth the price. Fries amazing, pizza good but not shaved truffles and for $ 36 I’m spectacle, yes it was good but truffle oil isn’t that costly and they fooled us. Use caution!

Its a local and consistent place you can find some well cooked food and enjoy a family meal or even bring a date. This is a place I can easily recommend and know be it a family or 5 of a group of friends can go and enjoy their meal. They have special Promo nights, such as $ 6 burger night or Pizza night! Their coal oven pizza is one of the better ones in town and there are more then a few pizza places in Boca Raton. Their Italian dishes and salads are very good! They have a pretty decent wine list as well. If you want good and consistent food… not overly priced for a night out or with family. Table 42 works any night of the week!

If nothing else, go to experience the buffalo mozzarella — it is a rare treat here in the States. Truffle pizza was outstanding, as was the sea bass. Jessica, our server, was nothing short of outstanding. A bit pricey tho — Boca influence? That lost them that 5th star.

Excellent food and it must be popular… it was CROWDED! We were sat at a table in the back, too close to the kitchen and expo-area for my personal preference. The food and service were both excellent and the wine list was more than adequate.

This is a great Italian– American restaurant where every dish is just delectable; I’ve never had a bad bite there. On Tuesday nights they have a special on their pizzas($ 6 from a reg price of $ 18!) and on Wednesday night they have the same special on their grass-fed burgers; both entrees are great. On Monday they have a «Wine Down» special, where every bottle of wine is half off. There is also a great happy hour everyday. Great place to bring huge groups of people too! Very family friendly place. Ask for Ricardo, he always gives exceptional service. =)

Ok sure, I’ll go against the grain here in a sea of mediocre reviewed experiences and say mine was superb! I came here for lunch last Friday and everything, I mean everything, even down to the passion fruit iced tea was awesome. We were a table of 5 –all with different orders — and all perfection. I ordered the blackened Mahi fish sandwich special and suffice it to say, was probably the best — if not one of the best — I’ve ever had! The fish was so thick, no black pieces where it gets a lil fishy for me and dressed with a stack of arugula on a nicely toasted bun with a side of freshly made French fries with Parmesan cheese on top. I ate the entire sandwich and practically licked my fingers at the end! One of the people at my table opted for the healthier side and chose the side salad with his fish sandwich and commented that he would go back just for that alone and I can see why — it looked scrumptious. The guy to the right of me ordered the meatball panini and when it first arrived I too wished that I ordered it– that is until I tried my own! They have a make your own salad — how cool is that? At a sit down restaurant you have the power to eat exactly what you want in your salad. And all of the ingredients are FRESH! The service was well attentive — drinks filled ½ way through, there was never a time any of us were looking for anything from our server including the sometimes awkward end when it’s time to pay the bill. So glad I was introduced to this place outside of the not so good reviews on here, because I might have missed out on this incredible dining experience! Judge for yourself and if you have anywhere near the experience I did, come back and push this negative stuff down.

Tough to get a good idea of this place, as we showed up there late on a Tuesday night, about 30 minutes before closing. There were only about 4 tables; half of which were inside and one other with us on the outside patio. Food was decent, but not great. Salads were quite good, but the entrees were heavy sauces, very cheesy and didn’t offer any viable healthy choices. Food we had was all good, but would have chosen to have fewer food calories that late at night. Also a very limited drink/wine selection.

My food always tastes like propane from the cooktop. I’ve had other folks complain about this same problem, not certain why. Another issue I’ve had is the abundance of garlic. When I say abundance, I don’t mean in a good way. I mean it more in a ruin your dish kind of way… the way that lingers in your mouth for 24 – 48 hours!

So so. This restaurant is In the back of Mizner Plaza. All the great restaurants are in the front. This kinda feels forgotten in the back. Food and service were only mediocre. Hard to recommend when a two minute stroll within the shops and promenade provides you with endless other, more enticing options.

Table 42 is often recognized for its $ 5 nights– pizza on tues and burgers on wed, but it has much more to offer than just those nights. Unilocalers complain that their burger toppings were wrong or the pizza was soggy, but thats because on a 5 dollar night you’re sacrificing quality for price. I recommend going on a regular night and ordering off the normal menu, its still moderately priced and service and quality are better. You can opt to sit on the patio which is great or in the bar or lounge patio and enjoy happy hour. The service is consistent and food is always impressive. Though this is an italian restaurant the salads are a highlight for me. The arugula salad is an obvious winner with a homemade honey pepper truffle dressing that cuts the bitterness of the arugula perfectly. The starter salads are large and usually enough to share while main plate salads are also offered. The chicken/veal milanese salad is my favorite, always crispy and served with lemon for the chicken! i love it! The blackened salmon salad is served with a generous center cut of salmon and a fresh salad, perfect for spring. The calamari is definitely unique and worth trying, you might fall in love with it. The hand cut truffle fries make a great appetizers served with a truffle aioli for dipping that is out of this world. Table 42 puts a nice contemporary twist on italian food and reaches closer to real italian offering a lighter more fresh feeling. For entrees, the in house gnocchi feels like clouds in your mouth and i recommend it with the creamy pesto its paired with on the menu. The rigatoni bolognese is a must have as well. Lets not forget pizza!!! Their pizza is light and fresh and crisp! i order it crispy for best results and usually put portobellos, goat chz and/or arugula on mine. The truffle pie isn’t on the menu but is worth splurging, a white pizza with blk truffle and white truffle oil topped with scallions is a rarity and i believe was named best pizza in the country a few years ago. Since my trip to Europe last summer ive had increasing trouble dishing out the absurd amount of money necessary to enjoy decent wine at dinner. However table 42 offers wine by the quartino, for around 8 – 12 dollars, as they do in europe! Overall, my tips are: hang out in the bar for a cocktail before dinner talk to the friendly bartenders, ask them what to drink enjoy dinner on the patio of patio lounge try a little bit of everything get cannoli for dessert

They have great service and the food is pretty decent. The location is kind of its downfall but that can be overlooked once you walk in and are greeted by their nice hostesses. Table 42 offers a «777» special on Mondays where they have 3 options for $ 7 each: cheese pizza, house salad, and a pasta dish. I always get the cheese pizza and ask for a topping of meatball. For the price, its very good and it’s huge considering its an individual portion. The«Giant Chocolate Cake» is delicious! They serve it with some cappuccino whipped cream on the side and it can literally be shared among 4 or more people!

St. Patrick’s Day, 5:30pm, just got out of work. My coworker has the night planed. He knows exactly which bar we’re hitting first, and where we’re going next, etc. «but first» he says«we need to eat so we’re not all messed up tomorrow, and I know the place». I trust him, he usually picks good places with good food… So here we are(and he gets credit for this one). He talks about their amazing $ 5 burgers. This is how it works, they give you a card where you chose how you want your burger cooked, what toppings, cheese, etc. Love that they have a «no bun» option — I always end up not eating it. For $ 2 or $ 3 extra you get sides. Oh, and also very important, drink specials until 7pm. My burger was really good, a bit greasy, and missing one of my toppings, but still I enjoyed it. The Sweet Potato fries were not great, next time I’ll go with regular fries. They have seating outside, inside, and at the bar. Décor is pretty cool, servers seem nice — will definitely come back.
