Pat’s Wine Bar & Grill

What a great little spot to grab a glass of wine with your girlfriends, or wind down by yourself after a long day. There are some great tapas-​style appetizers. I highly recommend the burrata and tomato salad, and make sure to ask if they have the black truffle burrata. There’s an upcharge, but it is well worth it!

Pat’s is a MUST-​GO when in Boca! I was in Florida on a trip from California, and we stopped in to have one (or ten???) glasses of wine. Pat greeted us warmly and gave us both vino and food recommendations. He was warm, friendly, super knowledgable, and thoroughly added to our overall experience. He also does all of the cooking himself, which made us feel like we were experiencing a home made meal rather than an impersonal restaurant dish. We opted for a juicy Cab which was wonderful.
Food — we ordered the meat and cheese plate, escargot, sausage and peppers, and a huge bowl of pasta with olives. Everything was prepared wonderfully! The escargot was garlicky, buttery, and perfectly hot. The sausage and peppers the perfect spicy/​sweet/​savory balance, and the pasta was served in a HUGE bowl of tomato-​y and olive-​y goodness. It was fully satisfying from start to finish, and each dish was fresh, hand made, and clearly cooked from the heart.
We also got to enjoy a combination of killer oldies music (think Hall & Oates), AND live music! A musician with a mic and guitar played covers of classic rock songs all night, which could not have been more fun.
Overall, amazing experience. Cannot wait to go back. Check it out and say hello to Pat for me!

A fine concept well executed. Pat’s Wine Bar staff maintains clear enthusiasm for the business and prioritizes a kitchen offering small bites to accompany a good selection of wines available by the glass or bottle. My dessert mood directed me toward a Tawny Port that seemed a good match for a caramel cheesecake slice. A cab suited my companion with the only hesitance arriving from having the wine glass cleaning process so clearly visible. Sometimes patrons don’t want to see behind the proverbial curtain.

We patronized this spot before under previous owner, nice to see a new owner who added food and a bit more ambience. Very busy on a Saturday night which was great to see, good service, however a bit disappointed that I was offered a boring, readily available at Publix for $ 9 JLohr cabernet. I go to wine bars to try something different not a run of the mill can be had anywhere JLohr.

I wish I had an extra set of hands… so I could give this bar 4 thumbs up. This place is a cool, laid-​back, wine bar that has yummy food and a solid wine list. I had the lamb chops that were on special and they were
, especially paired with a glass of sequoia grove (that was reasonably priced, and might be my new favorite cab). Pat seems like a cool guy, and the service in general was good. All in all great experience.

I have been in the restaurant on several occasions since it’s opening and I have enjoyed it every time. Pat’s has a great Wine and beer list. It includes beers from the northeast, west coast and Florida. The wine list is awesome, you can tell the owner seeks the best wines at all price points.
The regular food menu is great and I have had or seen many awesome specials come out of the kitchen. The Antipasto is great to get you started or eat with wine and If they lamb chops on special order them!
Keep an eye out for special menus and events such as wine tastings or pre fix dinners. I always see them advertised on social media and in the restaurant.
It is a flexible venue, be it a date, work event or happy hour.

Great neighborhood find! Loved the lamb chops and the taco appetizer. We will definitely be back!

We read the other reviews so thought we would try out «Pat’s wine bar». We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Atmosphere is great. We had the chicken tacos.

Wow!!! The owner is so cool not only comes up with great dishes but is so enjoyable to talk about his restaurant experiences. It was our anniversary and last minute found this place. Words are not strong enough to express how delighted we were with the wine and food. I wish him well as his place is new to the Boca scene. Taco were fantastic. Treat yourself!!! Stewart and Jacque

I have never been more impressed by a wine bar and more compelled to write a restaurant review in my entire life. The quality of food and the level of innovation that occurs at Pat’s on a daily basis is nothing less than extraordinary. Every time I leave Pats I feel lucky; lucky to have enjoyed such an incredible feast, lucky to drink fine wines in such good company, and lucky to be a witness to Pat’s ascension to the top of the Boca food scene. In three short months, Pat has turned the remnants of Rustic Cellar into a bustling culinary gem. I can speak for days testifying to the quality of food here at Pat’s but it is truly something you need to witness for yourself… especially considering that Pats is far and away the best late night option here in Boca with Dubliner and Flashback Diner being the only competition and sorry alternatives at best. Do yourself a favor, cruise into Pats, max some clams, scarf some Truffle Burrata, and drink like there’s no tomorrow because season is around the corner and it won’t be long before a seat at Patrick’s Wine Bar is the most sought after commodity in all of Boca Raton.

Fantastic service, yummy food AND sexy music. Perfect place to just take a load off on a Friday night.

Have been to Pat’s a couple times. Each time Pat has served us some outstanding food to go along with excellent wines. Try the hot peppers, sausage and peppers, and flat bread. Maria is an excellent server and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Will be back soon.

Last month was in FLA to visit family in Naples and spent a couple days in Boca. While having a drink at the Boca Resort & Hotel struck up a conversation with a random couple and got an invite to soft opening for a wine bar. Uhhh, that’s a no brainier.
Pat’s is a nice little wine bar about 40 seats total, solid wines by the glass and list. Good draft selection of local beers and staples, loved to see Lagunitas IPA (NorCal Biased but it is delicious). I had a chance to speak with Pat, as he was bringing out small plates and he mentioned the menu (a smörgåsbord) would likely change with the seasons and clientele. The sliders, tacos and hot peppers were scrumptious. Seems like a great place for happy hour, date or to post up on a Sunday and casually watch some football.
I’ll be back that neck of the woods this fall, will certainly come through and see how things have evolved.

New wine bar in Boca Mizner area. Nice location, great wine choices. Hubs ordered the Tacos, I didn’t get to try them but he said they were awesome. It was the grand opening, the AC must of not been working properly it was extremly warm. Hubs and I will be back for another glass of vino soon!

Yay! New wine bar in boca! In the former site of rustic cellar in royal palm place Pat’s wine bar has opened! I came in during happy hr and was pleased to find out they have 5 dollar house by the glass as well as 25% off bottles. Awesome service at the bar. They have a kitchen which will serve tapas type stuff as well as meat and cheese boards. The offical grand opening is this Tuesday at 5pm and I’m planning on checking it out. Welcome to boca pats!
