Shoe Repair Plus 2

Due to an ankle injury I’m wearing a brace & had to buy a special super big sneaker to wear over the brace. The back of the shoe had an inch of padding which needed to be removed to enable the shoe to fit over the brace. He had to cut the shoe to remove the padding and then sew it back together. This is what he returned to me after having the shoe for 6 days! I paid him and took the shoe because I needed it for my appt with the doctor. I told him I would be returning for a proper repair which I wanted him to do while I wait. He said he wouldn’t do this and I’d have to leave it. I explained without this shoe I can’t walk. He said he’s too busy. After 6 days this is the best he could do? I have an alteration business and would NEVER return an item in this condition. To top it off, he’s a very grumpy unfriendly man. I was going to take it back for the repair but now have decided to dispute the credit card charge and go someplace else. Don’t go here!

I took my $ 700 Pigalle Louboutins here to get resoled, they were worn once and the bottoms got messed up because it was raining. I figured let me take them to get repaired so this isn’t an issue anymore. Now I have a bigger issue, the loss of $ 700 because this company completely destroyed my shoe. I am furious! do not take your expensive merchandise here.

My luggage was torn by baggage handlers on my last trip so I used Shoe Repair Plus 2 for the repairs since their website boasted about how great their luggage repair service is. My husband dropped off and picked up my luggage so I just got home and saw the repair job. I’ve never commented on Unilocal before but after seeing the horrible repair job I had to say something. I was shocked and very disappointed. The stitching does not look like a professional did it at all. As a matter of fact it looks as if I did the repairs myself. I paid around $ 25 for this repair job. I wish they just told me that it was beyond repair instead of doing a botched up job. I’ll try to post photos. My suggestion to other consumers when it comes to this repair shop… beware of their luggage repair.
