Basically it is average food and at a not so cheap price. There are definitely better places to go, but this once is so close to the house. They are usually super busy with all of the old Boca people, so prepare to wait if you are trying to sit down there, or wait a long time for your take out order.

The food is very good. Nice selection and quite a few specials. Sunday night is parmigiana night so they offer quite a few specials for a reasonable price. We shared a caprese salad for an appetizer which was good. What I love about a Restaraunt like this is the main disk comes with a choice of soup or salad and the main dish comes with pasta. Note if u want veggies instead of pasta they do charge an additional $ 2.00. Give or take. The tilapia franchise was very good, manicotti and eggplant parm was delicious. Something about the meatballs dos not thrill me so I’d order something else. Also we were four sitting at a small booth which was a little tight. Seems like they closed part of the Restaraunt so if you are four grown ups is wait for a larger table so your Elbows and knees don’t knock. I would definitely eat here again Good food.

Ordered a Nona Pizza last night, while the delivery was fast the pizza was horrible! Very salty loaded with canned tomato sauce and barely any mozzarella cheese. Had to throw it out and was up all night drinking water for 2 slices and this crappy pizza!

What a strange place. It was a series of «Firsts» for me! FIRST time that I have heard a waitress loudly go off the deep end complete with Fbombs and other juicy expletives when a customer failed to tip her! FIRST time that I was told that a cook would not add an ingredient to my pizza. The food was ok but the manager needs to be replaced given this sort of dining experience. A manager needs to be able to get the service staff focused on a good experience rather than listening to shrill cussing. Good luck owners!

I cannot get over some of the reviews I read and I just don’t believe them. Friends, who are in the restaurant business took me to Rotelli’s on Clint Moore. I had been to the one on Jog and Atlantic, where the pizza is great but the food was awful. I understand the Clint Moore location is still owned by the original owner. Well, that Thursday night I had a special called Chicken Changy or something like that name. It was two chicken breasts with a brown gravy with wine served over delicious mashed potatoes and sauteed onions. It, m was one of the best dishes I ever had. I’m not kidding. I was a little embarrassed at how much I was enjoying it. My friends had veal parm and eggplant parm and they loved it. I went back again but they didn’t have that dish but had a veal dish with peppers served over pasta and it was great. I went back again and they didn’t have Chicken Changy but the waitress asked if the chef would make it and he did and it was wonderful again. The service was incredible. The salad and garlic rolls were terrific and the water was fine. I don’t know what these other reviewers are taking about. I went back there 3 times in 5 weeks. It’s not Trattoria Romano but the dish I had was just as good as anything I had there. Honestly, I have no dog in this fight. Same friends also recommended Zingers and it’s the best Deli in this area. Give this place shot and ask for Chicken Changy, it’s so good. Something is not right with these reviews. if you go there, write your own. I gave it 5 stars to counteract all the ridiculous other reviews. It’s a solid 4 star restaurant/pizzeria.

The service here is horrible and the food was sub par. I now have to look at Unilocal before going to eat. Since now I see this place has bad ratings. Im just joining the crowd.

A negative one star would have been given if the option was there. This place is a disaster! Starting out with water that smelled like a sewer. I told the waitress about it and she brought me a bottle of water(and charged me $ 2.50 on top of that). Then we ordered our main dishes. One of us had veal parm. They brought two small medallions that were so hard I wasn’t sure if we should go out and play Frisbee or what? The side of pasta was like a piece of rubber. I mean, al dente is nice, but this goes way beyond that, actually like dura! One of our party had ravioli and it was like a big brick of cheese. Yuck! The soup was bland. And the house salad was a big bowl of lettuce with a whopping one tomato. The garlic rolls? Well, we were asked if we wanted plain or garlic and ordered garlic. Did you get them? We sure didn’t. The waitress was a sourface — when will these servers get it? That unless you treat us right, we will not tip you well. But treat us right and we both benefit. I also didn’t appreciate the loud banter that the staff continued throughout our meal. It was hard to carry on our own conversation having to listen to their drivel. Naturally, we will NEVER be back.

What a disappointment. This place used to be great for delivery and take out. The antipasto salad had very low quality cold cuts, certainly not Boars Head or Thuman’s. High fat and salt, low flavor. The veal parmigiana sandwich,(which also had low quality flavorless cheese) was delivered in a round aluminum tray. The sandwich was open and all the cheese and sauce ran off into the tray. Wrap your sandwiches in aluminum foil. They will stay hot and not lose the cheese and sauce. Quality is a key ingredient in great food. Sadly, this was not the case with my last experience.

Went to Rotelli’s on Congress in Boca. Handed the server a coupon which required the purchase of 2 beverages so we let him talk us into a $ 20 bottle of wine reduced to $ 15. At the end of the meal he came with the check and said he could not honor the coupon because we were less than a dollar short of what the coupon required. He might have been stoned but that’s not an excuse for not knowing up front that the coupon could not be honored based on our order. Should not have tipped him. Either way they have lost a regular customer

The food is not bad, but unfortunately the service is terrible. I’ve been at this place three times with my kids, still no one recognizes us.

Portions are small when compared to the other Rotelli’s at Mission Bay(SR7/US 441). There was nothing to the Talapia Francese, or the pasta for that matter? How much does spaghetti cost? I paid a whopping $ 17.99 for this entrée. Can they at least be generous with the pasta? Next time, I am not going to show them my $ 10 off $ 35 coupon, prior to eating. Was that the reason why my food was practically non-existent? I realize that you play portion games with the Early Bird Special, but I should not be penalized for spending over $ 35(including a whopping $ 2.70 for soda) by receiving bupkess! Only plus to Rotelli’s: food is always tasty. As long as they forgo the ricotti that is. Who puts ricotta cheese in shrimp parmagian, or any parmagian dish for that matter?

The Closest thing to Franco American Spaghetti from a Can, worse Italian Food Ever. Dont Walk, RUN!! Italian Wedding Soup was Broth with 2 tiny meatballs and specks of Escarole, No Chicken, No Carrots sent it back for Pasta E Fagioli, even Worse. Like Pudding, Spoon stuck straight up!! The Eggplant and Penne was 3 Slivers of Eggplant, Wifes Veal Parm wouldnt fit in a Bun! Like a Kids Meal! First time in my 56 Years I left a Restaurant Hungry! I wouldnt serve this Food to my Enemy! No wonder we were the ONLY Customers in the Place at 5:00pm on a Friday.

The best thing about this place is their garlic knots. The food is pricey and lacks flavor. The service is AWFUL, from the crabby old hostess to the obviously miserable servers(I could go on a very long rant but I will spare you). Unfortunately for me, Rotelli’s is down the street from my grandfathers home so he frequents this place. Every time we dine here it gets worse: x Spare yourself, boil noodles and toss on some Ragu at home.

As really the only game in town for years Rotelli has not changed much, catering largely to older diners and family takeout. With the addition of D’Angelo down the street they drop a star. It’s very ho-hum pizza served in a place whose look is 20 years out of date. Service varies a lot but is generally good. They need a big overhaul to get back in the game with anyone under 75.

Service was very slow for delivery. Originally it was 40 mins but it took 1 ½ hours and the pizza arrived cold. Once I heated it back up it was a very good pizza. I will try one more time since everyone has a bad night Pizza over all was very good!

The pizza is okay and at times very good. I have placed delivery orders and the first order was fine, pizza was warm and the soda was somewhat cold. The delivery driver was the rudest person I encountered that week. I gave him a $ 3.00 tip, which I will never do again, and he commented that it was the lowest tip he had gotten that day, entered his vehicle and shook his head. Low tip huh? Try no tip and no business next time, for that matter. There are plenty of pizza places, and this restaurant at this location will not be seeing my business again. Did I mention the second time I ordered, they completely messed up my order? What a joke.

This is my first in person trip here, as I have ordered pizza from them previously. I gotta say, I’m disappointed. The location is great as it’s less than a minute from my condo, but the food is blah… The pizza is too greasy, my Parmesan chicken sandwich came out cold. When I said something about it, they took my plate and placed it, sweet potato fries and all, in the oven. After waiting another 15 mins, they returned with my now lukewarm sandwich and dehydrated potatoes. Guess I won’t be coming back here, again. Shame.

When Im at work in Boca and I am feeling some Italian for dinner me and the co workers hit up Rotellis. They have good sub sandwiches and they have all the Italian classics. There is def something there for everyone. The prices are fair and the quality is good, and thats what keeps us going back.

Ordered a pizza and thought it was great. Nonnas special had a lot of flavor built into the sauce. Crispy crust. Also had the Mexican wedding soup which was good. Can’t speak for the other food. Service was fine but wasn’t expecting fine dining.
