Low quality hair cut. No attention to detail. Front counter is particularly a mess, completely uncoordinated and with no sense of customer service. Called to make an appointment, then confirmed, then they screwed up who I saw, and didn’t apologize. Then took 10 – 15 minutes to ring up my card and told me «why am I in a rush». I’d rather cut my hair myself.

I follow my fab stylist wherever she goes! She is so perfect I would go to the moon if I had to. LOL I am a New Yorker from FF to Marissa and she is by far the BEST colorist, hair stylist and cutter and perfect blow outs ! I always hated having my hair done… ADD big time but now I’m there every week if not twice. Everyone at Pure treats with wonderfully and I could not be happier nor could my hair!

If I could give a big fat 0 stars I would. The stylists as well as the owners have bad attitudes and they think their you know what don’t stink. Well it does and so does the ugly salon! The guy owner is degrading to his employees and talks down to them and his wife is totally clueless! Hands down the worst salon ever!!!

Had my first experience at Pure about 2 weeks ago. Extremely friendly staff and owners. Susan A. does fabulous organic color and stylish cuts. I love my hair! Even with red organic hair color I have almost no fading after 2 weeks. I can’t wait to go again.

I had an appointment, went there and someone had scheduled me with the wrong hair stylist. The receptionist, who was new kept trying to get a hold of the correct person. I waited almost 2 hours, and would have left, but my hair really needed to be colored. I had the color done, and got it blown out. I had asked the colorist what the cost would be and she said $ 75. Well, when I went to pay I found out that the blow dry was $ 50, total was $ 125!!! The person who colored my hair blew it dry, and should have told me that it would be $ 125. I feel that it was too much money for the blow dry! I have not gone back, and will never.

The new management in the salon is terrible! First off, they don’t even speak or understand English! I have been a client here for 4 years & I regret to say I will not return. They have gotten rid of all the great staff & replaced them with mediocre(at best) people. They have ruined such a great salon, it’s a shame. I would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy.

TRACYRUINEDMYCOLOR!!! I WILLNEVERGOBACK!!! If I could give zero stars, I would, as one star is extremely generous for what Tracy did to my hair. I previously read some of the fantastic reviews of Sarah, but was told that she is no longer there so I went to Tracy. BIGMISTAKE!!! If only I could go back in time, I would! All I wanted was BLONDE highlights to match the highlights that were ALREADY in my hair, against my own natural sandy brown color. It was soooo simple… I even scheduled a consultation with her first just to make sure she understood. I explained to her several times during the consultation that I DON’T want any warm/brassy tones! The day I came in, I reiterated it once again to her.(I really don’t know how much more clear I could have been). As she was putting in the foils, she assured me that she was matching the current shade of blonde that was already in my hair. When she was done, she then told me that it wasn’t necessary to put me under the dryer(which was a bad sign because I usually need to sit under for a while in order for it to come up light enough). She then had the person who was washing my hair, use a toner, and she most likely kept it on for too long, but Tracy was too busy with another client to check. When it was done, I looked in the mirror and I didn’t see any blonde highlights. I saw a variety of gold/brassy shades througout my hair, which is exactly what I said that I DIDN’T want! I told Tracy I didn’t like it so she went through and re-highlighted it again, but the 2nd time it came out even more gold. Tracy actually told me that the lighting in the salon was making it look gold and that I should look in my car mirror, as well as my mirror at home! I then realized that although she was nice, she either didn’t listen, didn’t care, had no idea what she was doing, or all of the above. Truthfully, I would rather have had someone who wasn’t nice, but did a good job, as opposed to being nice, but incompetent. The good news is that I only had her do the crown area. She wanted to do the whole head, but luckily, I didn’t let her. I could have refused to pay, complained to the manager or owner, and/or demand someone fix it, but I had already been there for over two hours and I truly just wanted to go, so I paid(didn’t leave a tip) and left! I actually handled the situation which grace and class since I paid for the disaster! I cried on and off for days(I know it’s only hair, but my hair is important to me). I am now waiting at least 6 weeks(to avoid damage from additional chemicals and also get some regrowth) and will then go to my colorist back home(who DOES know what she is doing) to fix it. Do yourself a favor and DON’T GOTOTRACY!!!

I scheduled an appointment here after researching the Internet for the best prices in town. I was just looking for a simple Color Glaze, which usually washes out within a few weeks anyway. Most salons were priced the same as the permanent color, or as much as $ 85. Pure only charges $ 45 and they’re color is fabulous. My appointment was with a male, I cannot remember his name, but he was somewhat of a diva at first. He was kind of nice and matched my color, mixed the batch, and then ordered the salon assistant to put the color on, which I guess is why she is there in the first place. When we were done with the application, the male hairdresser came to get me and was much nicer this time. He must’ve just had a moment, I have totally been there. The clientele here seemed young and hip like the stylists. Overall they were pretty friendly for Boca and the color turned out great. I will be back.

I went to Nato, who everyone raved about, and it took him 45 minutes to do a blowout. He put it into sopping wet sections and the a/c was on blast. My head was frozen. The hair washing girl actually put moroccan oil on my head after she shampooed before conditioning. My hair was an oil slick and blow out lasted a day for 40 $. Forget it

Man, did I luck out on this place! First off, it’s down the street from my apartment. But more importantly, I walked away from the salon extremely satisfied. And in my experience so far in Florida, that hasn’t been the case at all. Let me preface this review a little bit. I’m a hair salon snob. I expect top notch customer service, professional and knowledgeable staff all around, beautifully done hair, and a clean working environment(you have no idea how many salons don’t follow this last one). Pure Salon went above and beyond my expectations. I couldn’t be happier. After looking up the staff bio’s on Pure’s website, I decided to book an appointment to color my hair with Sarah. Sarah is a fantastic stylist and I knew I was in good hands immediately after her consultation with me about my hair. She really paid attention to what I wanted and how my stylist back home in Chicago does my hair. I’m bright blonde so we did a thick highlight and a toner to bump up my base color. Her highlight foils were perfectly done. They were wrapped tight and done neatly, allowing no color to bleed out. *That* is how you know when someone is good at their job. My natural color is a dirty dishwater blonde and if you pair that with my bright cool colored blonde highlights, it can be a disaster. Sarah chose the perfect toner that brought my base color to a nice golden tone so I don’t have an ashy blonde color. Not to mention Sarah is super cool, friendly and confident in her work. Total for my toner and highlight with Sarah was $ 125. Totally reasonable price I’m very happy with my hair color. I also got my eyebrows done by Lindsay. She was really nice and did a great job sculpting them. I have light colored eyebrows and they’re not very thick. She sculpted them perfectly! I even have like, a REAL arch! For me, that’s new. While she was plucking them it wasn’t painful either… whereas I try to pluck one hair from my brow and I’m in tears. It was $ 30 but completely worth it. Waxing and threading doesn’t come close to how nicely shaped my eyebrows are because of Lindsay’s work. As long as I’m in south Florida, I’ll be coming to Pure Salon to get my hair done by Sarah and my eyebrows done by Lindsay. The salon has great products, reasonable prices, and knowledgeable and professional staff. I highly recommend Pure Salon and Spa! P. S. Their shampoo bowl chairs recline and massage you while you get your hair washed. As if the scalp massage while you’re getting shampooed wasn’t enough! For real, it’s so good. P. P. S. They have a parking lot around back of the salon that you can park in. Parking on the street can sometimes be a pain, so this is real nice.
