Linda Alfieri Hair Replacement Center & Full Service Salon

I don’t know how the one person who wrote that glowing review managed to have such a positive experience, but I have thick wavy hair and their «keratin» treatment was a nightmare. The lady who did it was horrid and ripped chunks of my hair out, the treatment, which is actually just a reverse perm, left my hair damaged for months. Rude, unprofessional, and the haircut she gave me was so ugly.

Men be aware ! Linda Alfieri should audition for a reality show. The salon’s environment is full of chaos, drama, and degrading of her employees or should i say what’s left of them. The overall cleanliness is below par. In the summer months her hours of operation are unpredictable and no one ever answers the phone, let alone return a call in a reasonable length of time. Over the last 11 months 5 different stylists have worked on me, with no consistency, Again 3 are no longer there. On 3 separate occasions my scalp was severely burned by using a glue that the salon knew I was allergic to and not even an apology or credit was given. It took 2 hair systems to finally get the color right at my expense, and not until Linda finally styled my hair was the cut respectable.
Linda claimed over and over i would get 12 weeks out of a system, in reality I only received 6 weeks.
It must be hard living in the shadow of her father Charles Alfieri, she will never measure up to him as a business person, since I was his client for 15 years without a problem, until he retired and I bridged over to his daughter «Linda» assuming business as usual. Boy was I wrong!
if you want a copy of the contract you signed or the hair template that was made for you that you paid for good luck, Once she knows you are not renewing your contract you have no rights and she will turn on you in a second.
I have learned a valuable lesson and hope this review can help another innocent prospective clients do there homework before choosing this company.

There are business people then” there are people in business”. you need to decide for yourself. my verdict is in and i an out of there.

I would NOT recommend them for women’s human hair wigs. After two consults and lengthly discussions about my expectations regarding no taping, hairline and quality of hair I am not happy. My wig needs to be taped and the quality of the hair is terrible, very dry even after conditioning. It was a very expensive lesson on what not to do in the future.

Stay away! Very poorly run business. They called me at least 3 times to confirm an apt I made and each time they confirmed a different time. I went there on a groupon for Keratin and the only reason I went through with it after the phone confirming madness is bc I couldn’t get my money back. Since they weren’t cutting my hair & keratin is just a treatment I went for it reluctantly.
About the Keratin treatment… not worth it! I’ve gotten many keratin treatments before & the first thing you notice is when you are getting it done the smell is very harsh & makes you tear. They usually give you something to cover your nose & eyes. This was not the case here. This struck me as odd. Also, when they applied it, it was in a tiny little spray bottle. Looked like a travel size hair spray.
Long review short, it lasted ¹⁄₃ the time normal keratin does. Usually lasts me 3 months & literally don’t have to even blow dry my hair. After this treatment, first wash & still had waives. Obviously sub par products (at least for Groupon).
They need to stick to their specialty which is hair replacements & hire competent staff to run their business.

Stay away. THE worst salon I have ever been to. Poorly managed, massacred my $ 1700 hairpiece and just keep telling you they’re the best. Go at your own risk

This is the worst run business ever. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. I’ve left 3 messages and have yet to get a call back. The person answering the phone is rude and totally unprofessional. Stay away.

I have to say I was sooo nervous to do the keratin especially at a salon I have never tried before. I have heard some nightmares about people having damage to their hair and I was not willing to try for a long time. I made an appointment and then read the reviews. .backwards I know, then I was really scared, the reviews people wrote seemed intense and not good at all. I decided to try them anyway because they were so nice over the phone. I told them my fears and they were patient and comforting. I was welcomed by a sassy fun woman who made me a bagel and coffee, being treated was nice, even the owner personally introduced herself to me… I could not believe the bad reviews written about the salon because my experience was completely opposite, they were so amazing! They seem like a family there and I believe the problem is some people do the keratin and their hair is too thin or brittle are not even that curly. My hair is thick and curly, my hair was dry to begin with and damaged and my hair drank it up like a dry plant needing water. there are two Alicias, the blonde Alicia did my hair and really took her time and was so patient with me being so worried. I really liked that she wanted to earn my trust instead of blowing my feelings off! I will he going back for sure!

I also had a horrible experience.
I don’t think Linda should ever answer the phone or handle customer service. I used a Groupon. Although it seemed like a great deal, the Keratin did not work at all. The first time called to let them know, they admitted to using an inferior product. Olivia was very nice. I re-​booked, but had to go out of town and cancel my appointment. I travel a lot and their hours are not convenient. But, I was also looking for a long term relationship with a new hairdresser, not just a one time coupon thing.
Long story short, when I finally had the time, I called and Linda answered. She was rude and had to call me back. She asked me over and over my information, phone, last name, etc. She told me she has to charge me for the procedure again. It escalated into a shouting match. #1 I did keep in touch and let them know the process did not take. The staff told me they would gladly accommodate me and my schedule. Especially when they admitted the product they were using was inferior. #2 a customer should NEVER be treated this way,
I think her attitude is inexcusable. Additionally the salon is disgusting! For a Boca salon ESPECIALLY. It reminded me of a NY barber shop. Joseph was very nice, and I liked the hair cut he gave me. I liked Olivia as well. But when I mentioned that Olivia was the one who gave me the appts and confirmed a redo free of charge, Linda told me, «she is just a college kid answering the phone.» Olivia had more class in her pretty 20 something year old pinkie than Linda has in all her bitter years.

just plain gross while i was getting a very below average pedicure the male stylist wasnt busy so he was clipping his finger nails and waxing his hands and re used the stick in the wax (right next to me).

I used my groupon at the salon this past Friday. I do not think that they used real Keratin on my hair. It burnt my scalp and made my hair very dried out. To me it smelled like a perm. They washed the keratin out of my hair. In the past the keratin has always been left in my hair. When you question them, they are rude and tell you that you don’t know. My hair is already frizzy and dry and this is day 3. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a merchant of any kind. The owners and employess are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Sometimes I guess when a deal is too god to be true, well there is a reason, if you already purchased a grouon from these people, please ask for a refun from groupons, you will be happy you did. If you choose to get your treatment, we will soon be seeing this same review from you.:)
