Publix Super Markets

The deli at this publix is a disaster. You will find multiple people behind the counter but none actually serving customers or trying to move the line faster. The sub station is always out of everything even at peak times. The online ordering is a good theory, but it’s a waste of time since the order will either not be ready or be incorrect. There are a few deli employees who are nice and helpful, but the others are rude and make it a terrible experience. Overall this publix and the parking lot is pretty small.

What is the point of having an online ordering system for deli meats if they never have it ready or on time and I have to wait in line anyways. My order was placed at 5 and not ready until 6pm. Very frustrating especially when order was supposed to be ready at 5:30!!!

Considering its location it’s a shame this publix is so dirty and less stocked than the most publix I’ve been too. I go to the Hillsboro one because it’s cleaner though No matter what publix I seem to go to lately the customer service is poor. Thank god for whole foods

Big fan of publix but this is by far the worst I have been so far. Surprising because of the location but everything about it is subpar. The deli is very slow and once you finally get your sub then you have to deal with rude cashiers. Recommend finding another publix close by

I always stopped in here in the past because my most favorite manager Virginia was stationed here. I followed her from the Deerfield beach store to this location. She is a Pennsylvania girl that is what I liked best about her. Virginia got transferred to the Clint Moore and 441 location I’m never really out that way so I guess I won’t be seeing her that much anymore she is truly my most favorite manager besides Paul Buffa he used to be the manager at Deerfield Beach many many years ago. Stopped in for coffee cream and some salad for tonight’s dinner snow heavy shopping today. Always enjoy this Publix location its very clean and it’s never crowded

I’ve lived in Boca my entire life and have been going to this Publix religiously for about 10 years but within the past year I’ve seen the customer service get drastically worse very quickly which is super unfortunate because I loved shopping here. The other day I had one of the worst run ins with a customer service employee I’ve ever had in my life. I bought around 8 items that day and once I arrived home I realized that an item was missing so I checked the receipt and realized I paid for it so I drove back to the Publix (Only about 4 mins away from my house) and went back to the same girl who rung me up and asked if I left my wraps there and se said ‘well someone left wraps here but idk if it was you, I must see a receipt’ I thought that was a little rude considering there is no possible way she could have forgotten my face within 10 mins but I agreed to go to my car and grab the receipt. Came back in and she basically threw the wraps at me like I did something wrong… When in reality if anyone did anything wrong it would be her for forgetting to put my item in the bag. So I decided to bring the issue up to customer service just to let them know I didn’t believe that the cashier handled the situation well… I told Patricia what happened and she basically said it happens all the time we see so many people a day and people obviously forget their items and walked away… I completely understand that things happen, people forget to put things in bags, etc that’s not the issue that I have… what I have no problem with but what I have a major problem with is the way the employees acted to a paying customer. Especially the lady Patricia in customer service; she just seems angry and hates her job. Oh and not to mention if you ever want to order a sub here there’s no way you’ll get it in anything less than 15 mins. Doesn’t matter how many people are in line. There could be no one in line and you’ll still wait forever. I blame the management here because every other Publix I’ve been to usually have super friendly employees. Would not recommend coming here, trader joes or fresh market which is right around the corner is a much better option.

A dizzying array of options, this could be your one stop shop for groceries, household items like toilet paper, and drinks. The multitude of options, friendly customer service, and convenient location make this supermarket a great choice.

I hate the service in this store. I work 5 mins from it to it is my go to for a lunch sandwich most days. It never ceases to amaze me on how much this particular publix’s customer service lacks in quality. Cashiers suck, they are overall not too friendly and at times rude, and deli service slow even with the online ordering.

Not the best publix. I live directly across the street and try to go to other ones when I can.
First off it’s small and doesn’t seem to have a great selection in my opinion.
The Parking lot is usually jammed with people/​cars
But BY FAR out of all the publix I’ve been to (a lot since they’re on every corner) this is the worst deli experience you will have.
Since I live so close I have to frequent it from time to time and it’s one of those shame on me situations. I have never gotten in and out of the deli in under 15 minutes ordering ONE SUB. The people who work here have no idea what they are doing or any concern for you. They don’t smile or even talk sometimes. Just slap on the last thing you said and stare at you blankly for the next command. They all look completely miserable to be there and your existence is bothering them. I want to repeat this again, I have been here MANY times due to the 30 second walk and it never has gone smoothly. Last time I went they were all out of bread… at a bakery and told me it would be another 5 mins which turned into almost 15 before I got to order.
I blame management at the location as every knows publix is known for its service. I have had several rude encounters around the store as well which makes me dread every time I walk in but you know… convenience

Difficult to get paper bags, parking is always tight. Their flowers aren’t nice some bouquets are brown. I also find out they don’t participate in the Fair Food program which allows farm workers get better wages for only a penny per pound, I am ashamed of this huge chain store not to join when even Walmart, trader joes and many other companies had

Totally disgusting. I bought King Crab legs for 18 dollars per pound. I went here because I thought that this is a good place. Turns out those king crab legs were rotted, I even added pictures so Ted (store manager) does not say it never happened.
They smelled really bad, and tasted horribly bad.
Bad bad. Don’t buy seafood here.

Have to say, it is a pleasure to shop here! Staff is great; who knew: ambiance in a grocery store? Expensive and good produce.

We just celebrated our 50^th Wedding Anniversary and ordered a cake at the last minute over the busy Christmas week. I’m not familiar with other locations but the Publix at 4141 N. Federal Hwy Boca Raton did a great job. It was ready when they promised, the printing on the cake was well done and most importantly the cake (a
chocolate ganache sheet cake with whipped cream) was delicious. It was more than sufficient for our guests and they all raved about its quality and taste. The price was very reasonable and we can“t remember having better at any event.

Nice convenient location off of Federal Highway. Their bathrooms are quite clean, the aisles are organized in a somewhat odd way compared to other locations, but everything is well-​stocked, parking is easy and close to the store, the cashiers are quick and friendly, and the store is clean.

If you’re sick of trying to find parking at your local grocery, this store is for you! They have valet service here!!! They also bring the groceries to your car. I could definitely retire here!

This is definitely not the biggest Publix around but the selection is quite good and the folks working here are the nicest I have encountered anywhere. Our go-​to store!

I worked there as a kid, so I’ll always like Publix. They have the best supermarket subs (they are huge and get em with boars-​head meat is key). Publix is consistently good in terms of service and selection.

I think I go to Publix about 7 times a week.
This Publix in particular is pretty clean and on top of things. You have to know which Publix to go to because not all of them have the same quality in product selection, customer service, etc. You have to come early in the day if you want fresh food from the bakery, but you can always place an order by phone if you want a bread a particular size or if you want one of their desserts custom made.
