The menu is in serious need of help. As someone who just moved here– the menu is my first impression. There are so many grammatical errors I wonder if a child produced the menu. You’ve got appetizers and entrees listed, and then another entire list of apps and entrees listed with a similar description– but no price. Makes no sense. Update your website– what are you thinking?

Good, home made food, pleasant service, and inexpensive. The name Pasta is misleading, since they have a full menu of other Italian dishes. We came with two young children into a full restaurant, when others might turn away a family with kids, but they made an effort to fit a table for us, and prepared the children’s food with the necessary adjustments to the menu(our kids eat grown-up food, only split a full plate, like some veggies more than others, etc.) Although the restaurant was full, we had the attention of two servers A pleasant meal in a nice atmosphere.

Really good food and very reasonable prices for Boca. Nice atmosphere. They are having a bit of an identity crises between calling it Pasta Fever outside and Eric’s Bistro inside, but the food that comes out of the kitchen tastes great either way. We’ll be back. Only beer and wine FYI.

We tried the Veal Parm and Salmon. The Salmon was good and the veal was just okay. The dish was apparently too close to the broiler and burned the cheese in several places. Their wine list is VERY limited and after trying two Cabernets we finally settled on a Chianti. Again, not great but the best we tried. If you are into very average food and below average wines, this is the place for you.

Food was excellent. Summer menu is wonderful. I had the yellow snapper provincial which was excellent. Roasted vegetables were done perfectly. Sauce was spiced perfectly. It is a very small restaurant reservations are recommended. Service was good. We found the restaurant on Unilocal and was and was pleasantly surprised. They are kid friendly. We brought 2 small children and they were great. They did not have any kid friendly drinks. Wine list was good.

Had dinner here about a month ago… just getting around to writing the review… here’s what I remember. We were seated at a table in the back corner… near the bar i.e. waiter’s stand. The waiters kept reaching over my head to pick up/put down things on the bar(like water pitcher, etc.) rather than walking around. Nothing bad; just a little distracting/unprofessional. Agree with one of the other reviews that it was confusing who was truly taking care of us since who I thought was our main waiter forgot about us later in the evening. One companion had caesar salad which came with a balsamic dressing. She also had chicken piccata which she enjoyed. Another companion had the eggplant parm which they raved about. I went with the red snapper — which I didn’t care for, but might have just been that I don’t like red snapper as I can’t recall eating it previously. Kitchen is tiny so some dishes were clearly made ahead… I recall my salad feeling like it came straight from the fridge. Will give it another chance — maybe the key is to get the eggplant?

If I could rate Pasta Fever for the food, it’d get three stars… maybe four. However, the whole experience was not what I expected based on the other reviews, which sing Pasta Fever’s praises. The good is limited. There’s a lot of parking in the shared lot in the strip mall. The ambiance of the place is very very nice — Italian and French, without being tacky. However, the negatives outweigh the positives, unfortunately. To start things off, we had two different waiters, and I have no idea which of the two was our actual waiter and got the tip. One guy who seated us took our drink orders and brought us bread and olive oil. Next, a guy(who was very jumpy and scatterbrained) came over asking us if someone already took our drinks. When we said yes, he said, «Oh, just so you know, I’m your waiter, not him!» The second guy took our food order, but the first guy brought out our appetizers and refilled our waters. My baked clams were burned on top and were atop a bunch of burned breadcrumbs that must have fallen off when plated. My fiancé’s spaghetti arrived before the rest of our meals(brought by the second waiter), and didn’t have the meatballs that it was supposed to have. They took it back and five minutes or so later, then first waiter brought out all four of our meals together. I ordered the sole, which had no mention of being served with pasta(although, I suppose I should’ve assumed it did, given the name of the restaurant; but all it said was that it came with vegetables). If I would’ve known it came with pasta, I would’ve asked for the veggies to be doubled-up instead. Similarly, there was no mention of how the sole was being prepared, but I had assumed since it came with a lemon-butter sauce that it was poached, grilled, or baked. However, it was breaded, so when the sauce was poured on it, it was like eating soggy bread. I scraped off all of the breading and ate most of the fish that way. Luckily, the coffee was good and my tiramisu was delicious. I also appreciate that they have a three course meal option for just over $ 30, which is a good price. However, the entrée options for the three course meal are mostly fish, and only includes one pasta option(which happens to be the only vegetarian option). If you’re looking for variety, this menu does not have it.(For what it’s worth, our dessert orders were placed with the second waiter, but the first waiter brought it to us.) Our check came quickly, but took over 10 minutes for either waiter to see us waving at them to take it away. However, they did clean the table behind us twice in that time… Overall, this experience was not a good one. I don’t understand the love for this place that a lot of the other reviewers had.

Last Friday, I came here for lunch with Brenna R. They have an inexpensive lunch menu with a few tasty vegetarian options. I arrived first, and the waiter greeted me. He told me that I can sit anywhere. The place only had one other group there, so seating was plenty. I had a seat as I waited for Brenna to show up. When she arrived, we looked over the menu. We decided to order two meals and split both of them. The two meals that we chose were the eggplant parmesan and pasta dish and the brie sandwich. The eggplant parm came with plenty to eat. I made sure the sauce was veg-friendly. The waiter said they used to use bolognese, but now it is made with a pomodoro sauce. I found the eggplant dish to be fantastic. The brie sandwich was just that. It was on a thick, delicious bread with only tomatoes. I could see myself craving this sandwich again. Overall the place was nice. I found the food to be good. The service was friendly and we were in and out in no time. I would come back again for lunch.

I’m new to the area and was thrilled to find this little restaurant tucked into to a small strip of stores on Federal. The atmosphere, menu and food all were great! I had the snapper with pasta and veggies and really enjoyed it. It was perfectly prepared. The owners are friendly and the service was very good. I’ll go back soon!

A best kept secret of Boca! Excellent food and reasonable prices. You feel very welcome from the moment you walk in. We were in town for the weekend with our daughters and could not have had a better place to enjoy our food, each other and owners and staff. We felt like we were family. We would love to return!

The food was amazing the first time I went. It was so good, in fact, that I drove back the following week to have more. I live in Fort Lauderdale and had to have an «extended lunch» to enjoy what this place has to offer. Their approach to Italian is not the typical southern style you expect. The chicken parm was different but in a very good way. The sauce was flavorful and thick like a chutney. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The only detail that did not get five stars was the name, only because this place is so much more than a strip mall restaurant. «Pasta Fever» has more of a «Sweet Tomato» feel to it. It needs a moniker that captures the quality and delectability of each dish.

We love this place… this is our second trip to this quaint little bistro! The name is deceiving… although they have quite a selection of pasta’s, they also have delicious French inspired cuisine as well! We took some family guests as well… one who considers himself a gourmand… he gave it two thumbs up! The ambiance is terrific, especially since it is tucked away in a non-descript strip of small stores in Boca. You walk in and instantly feel you are in a bistro in France. The staff is very warm, friendly and attentive; the food is well portioned and delicious! Prices are realistic… only downside dining room is small… make a reservation to guarantee a table and enjoy!

Great food, adorable restaurant, extremely attentive and friendly staff. We were from out of town and we happened upon this great place. The owners took the time to make recommendations and suggestions and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend and would go back again if I could! Next time I’m in Boca. ..

This place was a real find! THe food was really tasty and the restaurant was very accommodating. As soon as you sit down, they bring you bread with olive oil and herbs and this amazing olive tempanade. We ordered the lasagna, not a huge portion but delicious and the fever pasta with the spicy arrabita sauce. Kind of like fra diavolo. The portion was huge. ENough for two meals. The restaurant is quaint and hidden away in a small plaza. Worth going in!

YUMMY. Went to this wonderful family owned, friendly restaurant for dinner. The food was fantastic. Tasty, perfectly prepared, and perfect amount. Daily specials and full menu. Cesar salad was great. Duck with berry sauce and several pasta dishes. I had the penne with pesto sauce. Fabulous. Our little boy had fettuccine Alfredo and for the first time. We had to ask him to stop eating. I truly recommend the family oriented, warm and friendly restaurant. Owners come to greet you and go out of their way to ensure your satisfaction. TRYIT. You will go again.

What a quaint little place, plenty of parking. Owners in hand, and chef comes out to greet you. I had the Artichoke, Shrimp and Roasted Red Pepper spags, and he had the Lemon, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, and pesto over Penne… FABULOUS. the bread basket was fresh, fantastic dipping bread… and the seasoned olive oil was fantastic. I had Pino with dinner, which was served with a little carafe. the macaroni’s were done perfectly, the sauce was exploding with flavor and the whole bill was well under what we expected to pay. Love this place… So easy to get to. right off of Federal… and we’ll be back! Perfect for a quiet dinner for two, or a family get-together… we also liked the fact the chef and his wife came out to the table, and service was more than ever expected. We’ll be back that’s for sure! Highly recommend this place !
