Closest Indian grocery store by my place. Dad in town and wants to make some food of course, so I came across this. Not to bad, very clean and organized too. Could use some more inventory, but very nice owner. Will stop by again

Nice selection and VERY clean! Heavy on South Indian oriented products, but that just guarantees a great selection of snacks, idli mixes, spicy pickle, dals, rice options and more! Great for those of us that love the South Indian style foods but still learning the cuisine. Heavily recommended. Weak points are that it does not have a good selection of other Indian styles– like North Indian food(which is what most of us are familiar with).

So last night I made cheesecake from scratch to celebrate Pakistani Independence(August 14) and Indian Independence(August 15) Day. This was no easy task, since I have never made any dessert ever at home. I had my fire extinguisher near by. End result: success and I realized trying to make new kinds of foods is not a daunting task as it seems. And now I suggest you try to make some indo/paki recipes and of course you will need masalas(spices), vegetables, basmati rice, naan(bread) etc. Even if you do not want to cook you will find some unique things at little India, such as indian hair oil(helps with this extreme Florida sun), henna(hair or for hands), herbal face masks and lotions, etc. I do want to emphasize the vegetable selection, they have some great choices and super fresh. It is a quaint sized store but super clean and organized. If you have any questions, you can ask the cashier about the different names because some ingredients might have interchange names of spices etc. Good luck with Indian and Pakistani cooking !

Shout out to Rachel M for introducing the Unilocal world to Little India! This place is sooo easy to miss; I’ve driven by multiple times before without even realizing. On the inside, the space is small, but super organized and clean. After looking really lost, I appreciated that the owner patiently helped me find what I was looking for. You’ll find a range of products –from spices, frozen foods, Indian breads, snacks, pre made curries, various flours, etc. You’ll definitely be inspired to try your hand at some Indian recipes! I will be making many more stops for sure!

I don’t know why I was surprised to walk in to this store and find it clean. I think I’m so used to ethnic markets in S FL to be small, smelly and dirty. This store was well organized and well stocked. They even have already made Gulab Jamun! I stocked up on some pre-made stuff, frozen samosas, and vindaloo paste. I’ll be back for the korma paste and Kulfi!

Clean, well-stocked and convenient Indian grocery store in Boca Raton. For the south-indians out there, this place also carries«sevai»!

I like to color my hair with henna, and I like the smell of some of the ayurvedic soaps that are commonly found in Indian and Pakistani groceries. The fact that I was easily able to find what I needed and navigate the rest of the store was great. The service is very good, the prices re better, and I will definitely go there again as soon as I figure out enough about the food products carried to cook with them. I did, however, find some better prices on the handful of items I was familiar with.

Great service! 95% of the time find exactly what I’m looking for in stock and what’s best I’m offered similar if not better alternatives to just what I need. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of products they carry! Open Daily!
