SO disappointing! I read great reviews and was looking forward to a fresh new look. I wanted a nice medium brown with highlights and had found a few pictures to bring in. After showing them to my stylist, she was pretty clear she understood what I wanted. I emphasized that I wanted the highlights to stand out because just brown is not a good look for me and she acknowledged she understood perfectly and we decided on shades. Once complete, I was expected to blow-​dry and style my own hair. Umm ok, that’s a first, but whatever. When done it looked nearly the same as when I arrived. I approached her and said «I don’t see any highlights». We walked outside with a mirror and I saw a few very small strands of gold. Not at ALL what the photos looked like I showed her. My ends were all dark brown… the photos had a were similar to bayalage and had a lot of blond. I was really upset because I had to get to work and didn’t have time for her to fit me in between her other clients to add more. At work I asked several people what they thought and the consensus was the same…“I don’t really see much… just sort of looks brown” $ 100 later (plus tip) I’m now at home with an OTC highlight kit to get what I want.

Great color! I read the reviews on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Heads up though after having lived in CA I didn’t know that you needed to book a time for the blow dry as I figured it was part of getting your hair colored and shampooed… not so. Will definitely go back.

I took my girls to this salon based on the reviews on the website. I get crazy with hair cuts so, needless to say, going based solely from online reviews, I was reluctant. With that said, EVERYTHING that I read was true! We were greeted warmly upon arriving and told that, Sharlene, would be with us shortly. Sharlene, consulted with us to find out our likes and dislikes, and as someone previously stated, she actually listened to what we had to say!!! Her skills were excellent, she was friendly and we all left the happiest that we had ever been with our haircuts and blow outs. The next day, we got an email thanking us for coming in and a week later, a handwritten thank you note for our business. This salon is extremely customer service oriented they truly care about their clients. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Sharlene :)

Finding a new salon and stylist is always traumatic but Renee at Hue did a beautiful job on my color and somehow managed to coax my long hair into curls and waves I didn’t know I had. It’s a little out of the way for me, but worth the drive. Very satisfied.

Although this place is very hard to find it was not hard to find on Unilocal by my boyfriend! I got a gift card for Christmas and decided to try it out. Usually I go somewhere else but thought it would be worth a shot. The place is very clean, modern and relaxing. I got an appointment very easily today but usually they said they are pretty booked up. Renee was who cut my hair and she did an awesome job and was super friendly like we knew eachother forever! I Will definitely be returning here in the future!!!

Thanks to great reviews on Unilocal,I called this am. They fit me in today without issue for a color and cut. They were busy and yet everyone was friendly and welcoming. Best of all — I loved the cut and color. Linda was wonderful. It’s a lovely place that I would return to again when in Boca.

First time at Hue. AMAZING! Renee did a fantastic job on my highlights; she was friendly, funny and made me feel like a total rockstar. Bridget gave an orgasmic hair washing/​head massage. Loved every minute of this experience and am definitely going back again! Reasonable prices & friendly environment :) highly recommend!

I was a last minute hair nightmare, Kimberly took my horrible dry mousy/​green hair (too much sun and pool) to a lustrous chocolate color and blowdry only $ 95!!! Now that’s a deal

I finally found a hair stylist that consistently makes me happy. Sarah is the best! my hair cut is perfect every time! the salon is super professional and will take the time to call you if they are booked up and they have a cancellation. great service.

I just moved to Boca Raton and I went on Unilocal to find a hair salon. i read good reviews about Hue and decided to give them a chance. risky to have a cut and color with a new place. I am very happy that I do not have to look any further. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who offered me a beverage. Sarah was amazing. My color was perfect and I love my haircut. I also received a follow up phone call to see if I was satisfied. I am!,

No nonsense professional stylists. Vacationing in Florida with an overgrown, over bleached ‘do’, found promising reviews for Hue and took a chance… Jackpot! Kelly LISTENED and then restored my base to a deeper neutral blond with meticulous hi/​lo lights… with healthy shine to boot. Carl LISTENED to my style concerns and cut a perfect, customized bob… fresh, swingy and so simple to style.
No pretentious nonsense.

I went there for the first time after reading the Unilocal reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. service was good, people were nice. I found their prices reasonable compared to many other salons in «upscale» Boca.
Been back a few times since, and will continue to go. I really like that you can blow dry your own hair if you want (if a chair is available.)

Came here for the first time and had my color updated by Micheal. He was very nice and did a great job. Four weeks later the color is still looking good. Will be going back.
Update: Went back for a second color. Still pleased with the color. It ‘s the other elements of the experience I had a problem with. First I had secheduled (many weeks in advance) a color and blow out. The blow out was supposed to be done by a stylist not the colorist. Well they somehow didn’t schedule the stylist and she left. So the colorist had to dry my hair. He is a great colorist but the way he dried and styled my hair was not so great. He was all over the place… drying a bit here and a bit there very disorginaized and leavingparts of the hair moist (which results in frizz). I’ve never had that happen ever. Then he ironed my hair and it just looked very odd especially around the bangs. To top it off they charged $ 45 for just the blow out. WOW, was not expecting that.
May go back for color touch up but will never have them style my hair again.
For $ 50 I expect the style to at least look better than what I can do at home.
Changing my original 4 stars to 3.

Yesterday was my first experience at Hue Hairdressing. After a bad coloring and highlighting job in my already very damaged and weakened hair, 3 hours later I walked out feeling great about my hair again!!! Kelly was awesome and she got the perfect color I had been looking for the past couple of months! Sara styled my hair and cut my already sensitive and damaged hair. Finally, Eric was the icing on the cake! He worked with me designing very meticulously what he called my already perfect eyebrows. He did an amazing job with my eyebrows and makeup.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience at Hue Hairdressing and Color Salon and I will be coming back very soon!

Consistently great service time and time again. Enjoy a glass of red with your hair cut? Yes, please! Eric does incredible makeup and tweezes brows to perfection… PERFECTION! He gives you tips for magnifying your beauty and leaves you feeling confident.
Piper cut my hair with precision. In one day, I was literally asked by five different people who cut my hair! You know you have a great cut when people constantly compliment you.
A woman’s haircut goes around 35 and up. Eyebrow tweeze is approximately 30 for first timers and 25 for repeat clients. Makeup is approximately 60 and up. Eric also does weddings.
I live in Europe now and I’m so missing the gang at Hue. Anna and the crew strive for complete customer care.
