My boyfriend and I had a wonderful dinner here last night to celebrate his birthday. We each ordered small village salads, which were quite large, the tzatziki, and the steamed mussels for appetizers, and could have stopped there, but we had already ordered our entrees. Everything was delicious with just the right blend of flavors, lots of garlic which we loved and bountiful portions. The tzatziki was the best I’ve ever had and the seasoned grilled pita was to die for. I ordered the grilled swordfish with green beans and my boyfriend ordered the pasta with mussels(he must have 25 mussels throughout the evening!), and we were so full we could barely move. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because my fish was a little too salty for me. As full as we were, that didn’t stop us from ordering their homemade baklava — warmed heaven on a plate! The ambience was warm and welcoming, and the service spot on. Our meal(2 salads, 2 appetizers. 2 entrees and 4 glasses of Pinot Grigio, including a generous tip, came in at about $ 150. Money well spent for a special night out.

Had to come back to Unilocal to give this restaurant another great review! Always a pleasant dining experience. Delicious food, attentive waiter, great music, and a comfortable atmosphere.

This place is terrible! It’s a joke of a Greek restaurant. Surprised this place is still in business. Never seen gyro meat look like that. But it did taste like it look. Plastic.

Waiter was young and immature as far as waiter training. He removed our utensils after appetizers and didn’t bring fresh ones. Once the main course arrives no utensils. I ordered the typical Greek soup which tasted like water. I checked in on Unilocal to receive a $ 1 off check which they didn’t bother to credit us for. Will not be back.

We had dinner here last night. A total disaster. First the zucchini pancakes were soggy Then the song ill Was so hard you couldn’t cut it. We told them we wanted something else but they wouldn’t come back to the table. They made it like it was our fault. We asked for rice and they never brought it They were out of baklava We think they were mad at us because we didn’t Like the food We also ordered an appetizer for two where was just enough for one for $ 15.00 Their bread was delicious and we asked for more but never received it and we needed it for the appetizer Small store front restaurant very crowded You can’t have a receipt for your bill. You must give your email address It was very crowded. They had a belly dancer for 30 minutes but there was no room for her to dance They will never see us again

Awful service and mediocre food! Would never go back. I went for dinner with my husband at 9pm on a Saturday. We were seated promptly at a table that had just been eaten at but not yet set and barely cleaned. After sitting for 5 minutes, the waitress finally comes over and asks us to get up and puts a white table cloth over the table. She seats again, with no cutlery. Finally 5 minutes later she comes only with napkins, after another 5(15 minutes in), she brings us water and hands us a menu. She takes our drink orders promptly, and after 10 minutes comes back for the mains. We order. The first dish I tried to order, the snapper, they were out of, so I settle for something else. During the FULL hour of waiting, we are served peta and hummus and given napkins thrown on the table again, with cutlery finally that isn’t even set. After that HOUR of waiting, and the entire restaurant emptying out, with only five tables remaining, we finally get our food. My husband’s gyro platter looks like processed meat, not what was describe on the menu and mine came with warm, not hot shrimp and onions in the greek salad that I had requested to be removed and the plate was missing the rice. My husband sent his back. The owner comes over trying to convince my husband to try it, even thought it was not what was described on menu and looked like greedy slaps of processed meat. Finally they took it away. As soon as I was done, we asked for the bill. Obviously the bill came quickly but the change took over 8 minutes with an empty restaurant. I had to stand up to ask for it. Should I mention he table in front of us was waiving their empty bottle that night to get their waiters attention for an other. My husband went to get the car, but the owner unsypmtathelecally blamed the waiter for the poor quality and offered me a drink. I was too disgusted to even take him up, I wanted to get out. BOTTOMLINE: TERRIBLESERVICE, MEDIOCREFOODANDPOORMANAGEMENT. Would not go back.

We had a great time. Live music patrons were dancing around the place we had a blast. I had roast chicken it was exactly what I wanted crispy skin moist meat. The salads were big enough to share.

Great food, great service, and a fun ambiance on Friday /Saturday evenings. The Biftekia and their Gyro platter was awesome. The only thing that I didn’t like was the price for a rum and coke. $ 10 for a rum and coke is just too expensive. However, the cost of leasing that property is probably very expensive so I sort of understand their position. Overall, definitely a great place to check out.

What an amazing delicious dinner we had tonight. The food was sooo yummy, we would return every night if we did live so far away. Each dinner was pre paired to perfection. Our waitress/bar Maria was so sweet and very caring. The owner Nick was gracious and very welcoming to everyone. Can not stop raving about this restaurant –it is a gem

The food, service, and ambiance were amazing. I was with a party of six and we were all taken care of from start to finish. If I had to complain about one thing it’s that the gyro meat isn’t shaved off of a vertical rotisserie, and seemed pre made made. I could be wrong. Will go again, soon.

Went here while on vacation for our anniversary and couldn’t have had a better night! The atmosphere was so open and comfortable. The service was top notch(Dimitrios treated us like friends, not customers). And the food was absolutely delicious! We sat down and was brought hummus and the best pita I’ve ever had. To start we ordered the tzatziki to have with the pita. Then for dinner I had the lamb souvlaki — lamb kabobs on a skewer with green peppers and onions, served over rice with green beans. My girlfriend had shrimp over rice with green beans. Both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our server, Dimitrios, brought us complementary chocolate baklava when we told him it was our anniversary. It was so light and delicious! We ended our night with cappuccino and enjoyed the entertainment. There was live Greek music and a surprise belly dancer. Overall, it was a great experience. Wonderful people that sincerely cared about your dining experience. And the food tasted fresh, came out quick and hot, and was cooked deliciously. I cannot say enough good things about Estia, and will try to make it back before we return home to New England!

They have better Greek food then in Greece. In fact everyone in the restaurant is Greek giving a very authentic feel. The food is very good, and the portions are HUGE! I really recommend their lamb. I liked everything about the place so much I even posted a family event there. The owner is very nice and prepared a set menu for 35 guests. We had the restaurant to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon. Everything went without a hitch, it was spectacular and even through and dessert and coffee for free!

I was in the mood for a gyro and it was delicious! The tzatziki sauce was nice and garlicky, the pita bread was hot, and the Greek salad was tasty. The meal hit the spot not even a crumb left on the plate when came to get it.(actually 2 olive pits) the staff was nice. Take the extra minute to find this restaurant and you will be glad you did.

Stopped by for a couple of appetizer and drinks while we watch the amazing belly dance show. The grilled calamari were perfectly cooked and I finally had the traditional cheese saganaki lit on fire with ouzo, enjoyed everything …

Early bird 14.95 $ 3course dinner! so CHEAP! daily 4 – 5:30pm and main courses are full sized from regular menu, sth to choose from 6or7 different options. I had chicken soup, and stuffed peppers for main entrée– amazing! also tried from my family roasted chicken, crispy and really good, eggplant and beef dish(can’t remember the name) also super tasty, but a bit heavier i think. Beef patties were nice too! Baklava was too sweet(i never liked it anyways), but rice pudding was a perfection! even if not on early bird special, I will b back!

How can a European themed restaurant be out Sparkling water at 5PM on a Saturday? Wife ordered stuffed peppers and they were out of that also, C’mon guys you had all day to walk across the street to Trader Joes to pick up some water and peppers show a little initiative and get off your butts and get the basics. Couple at the next table had to order drinks 4 times to get find something you had in stock. Had champagne on the menu but no bubbly. The waitress Brittany was excellent — cheerful and attentive. My pita and humus pre-entre was free and tasty. We ordered the fried meatball appetizer excellent. The chicken kabob was very nice. Unfortunately the gyro pita meat was the type cooked in the pan rather than the good stuff cooked on a revolving spit. The accompanying French fries were excellent but they had no malt vinegar so had to use ketchup. In summary the service was 5 stars, food 4 but management neglect and laziness brings overall rating to 3. Reasonably priced menu. It is a shame because if they had their act together the rating could have been higher. Right now is peak season in FL so be prepared and don’t embarrass your staff be being out of menu items at 5PM.

After about an 18 month absence from Estia I returned with a friend who raved about the food. The restaurant was closed for awhile last year and reopened, allegedly under management/ownership of the former chef. SERVICE: This was a slow Wednesday night at 7. Two tables including ours were occupied inside, and 4 occupied on outdoor patio. There were 3 waiters and as many busboys. The waiters ran, not walked, between kitchen, bar, inside and outside. There was a frenzied feeling to their actions unjustified by the number of guests. It was distracting and annoying. And our waiter did something which turned all of us off — took the knife and fork from our salad plates and placed them on the table! Of course, we noted our disapproval and he said«ok, oh, I’ll bring new ones». This may not be a big deal for many diners, but it was representative of a certain lack of sophistication and style to the service. AMBIENCE: the décor is early 80s, lighting ok, scenes of Greek towns on the walls, clean, sort of blah. Bar seats about a dozen. PARKING: provided by free valet, otherwise the lot is a challenge, especially on weekends. FOOD: started with free warm freshly made pita bread and delicious hummus. –large salad with lots of chopped tomatoes was sufficient for three to share. It was good. — the grilled salmon and scallops was a large cut of well prepared salmon. The scallops were a bit tough, cooked too much, perhaps? — stuffed chicken breast was huge and very good. — all entrees were accompanied by rice(way too much), sautéed mushy green beans, and one slice of roasted potatoes. No other veggies were available, and my request to skip the rice and add more green beans did not get executed. And the one slice of roasted potato was hysterical. OVERALL: Underwhelming. while the food was good, the inability to get more veggies was disappointing, and while salad was so-so, it was supposed to include lettuce and there was little there. The service was disappointing and made us wonder what busy weekends were like. It just lacked vibe. We had hoped the new owner chef would have management skills or hire an experienced front of house manager. If the negatives I have highlighted don’t concern you, you’ll appreciate Estia.
