If their phone service is indicative of their in-person service, stay away. I certainly will, after being transferred to a closed restaurant’s voicemail and calling back, only to be given attitude(«Yeah, you could have left a message») when I told the brat that I’d gotten transferred to voicemail when all I’d asked what HOWMUCHISYOURDAMNSUNDAYBRUNCH. So yeah, regardless of how much it is, I won’t be finding out if it’s worth it. Because I already know it’s not.

My mom took me here for my birthday. Our server seemed irritated with our existence at first, but eventually got over whatever her issue was. This is definitely a place for older people. I tried to order some type of yummy martini, but the bartender was unable to make anything interesting, so cranberry and vodka it was! Our dinner was delicious(and totally in the shape of male genitalia, there was no way that was an accident. someone was bored in the kitchen.), but the chocolate cake I got for dessert for horribly dry. There was a piano players/singer and a dance floor with some pretty talented senior citizens getting down with their bad selves. When my not awesome cake came out the piano player sang me happy birthday, that was nice! Overall, definitely only a place to go when your parents are paying. Or if you order off the Prix Frix menu, we had a coupon so we weren’t allowed to use that menu :-P we’re classy ladies. also, great view!

Let’s start with the positive: THEVIEW! With large windows all around, the intracoastal on one side, and the inlet and ocean on the other, I can’t think of a more beautiful view in all of Boca. Well, that was the positive, and it was pretty much downhill from there. Sunday brunches are my thing. I had really been looking forward to Carmen’s. A brunch price is often a good indicator of how much of a treat you are in for, so I had pretty much set my sights on a «$ 45.00 experience». For sure not the most expensive brunch out there, but certainly in the higher tiers. For such a large room, you would think that they could use the space more wisely, so that not everybody is crowded in a bottle-neck waiting at the omelette and pasta stations. Items that stood out for being really good? I’m sorry, but can’t point to any. An item that should not have been there? Toaster waffles. That’s just a bad decision… leave them out if you can’t make fresh… even Hampton has fresh waffles! Overall boring selections. Service was absolutely terrible. We had to ask EVERYTIME for our drinks to be refilled, and for dirty plates to be removed. Overall, I would put the value of this brunch at about $ 25.00. They can’t all be winners.

My husband and I were the youngest people here. It seems to be the place for the retired crowd to go for dancing/dining. Nothing wrong with that, everyone seemed to be having a great time and some of them were good dancers, so it was fun to watch. The piano player was also really good. I’m going to tell my parents and their friends to go here because I’m sure they’ll love it. The food was also very good. The only negative is that even tho I had reservations they sat us at a table that had a dehumidifier right next to it. I wasn’t expecting to share my nice dinner with a large appliance. It was literally almost touching my chair and sat there buzzing all night. Not terribly classy. It also took a little while to be seated because the hostess ignored us and took older couples who arrived after us in first.

We first came here for the view and the Pre Fixe which is two dinners with salad dessert coffee and a bottle of wine for I believe 35 dollars. Well needless to say the«deal» can’t be beat. There is a lovely piano player playing traditional Palm Beach dance music which my mother enjoyed. Since then we came back to enjoy the brunch which is the only one comparable to Sundy House in my opinion the views spectacular of the ocean. On Sunday they have a wonderful gentleman playing«American Standards» in a very tasteful way WITHOUT A DRUMMACHINE! Thank goodness for that! Very enjoyable. The views are spectacular and the food very good, nice music to compliment the meal. What’s not to like?

I would never go near a buffet in NY but down in S. Florida it just seems safer. Really clean! I have been to the brunch buffet at Carmens twice and it’s nice. The food is good(yummmm raw oysters) the service is good, there is a piano player and the views are awesome. One thing they could improve on is the desserts. nothing special going on there at all.

I came here for a sponsored event during a conference in Boca Raton so I can’t comment on prices here but everything else was fantastic! The view from the restaurant was of both the Atlantic and the inter-coastal waterway. Catching the sunset while grabbing a cocktail was fantastic. The bartenders were super friendly and since it was an open bar I quickly became best friends with the gentleman behind the counter. Appetizers were carried around by some very friendly young guys who openly encouraged me to «go ahead, have another.» I’m sure they weren’t trying to fatten me up but since my friend and I were easily 15 years younger than most of the rest of the crowd I was more than willing to talk to them as well. Food was a delicious buffet and while sitting down to eat the same gentlemen who had been carrying around apps were happy to refill my cocktail while I continued to stuff my face. Dessert bar was overloaded with treats and some cute little pies that came in shot-glass sized dishes. Key Lime! mmm! Again, the only cost to me was the tips for my drinks, but service was spectacular and the view was fantastic.

It was my grandma’s 84th birthday and she wanted to come here. they had a prix fixed menu which I hate, the food was nothing to talk about(my steak was medium and might as well been well done). It might seem like I’m being picky but when I went to the bathroom and walked by our waiter and the bar tender I over heard them talking poorly about my drink order as well as my families drink order. Insulting our age and what we ordered to drink. If it wasn’t my grandma’s birthday I would have made a big deal but only because it was her birthday I stayed quite. I will never eat here again. The only good thing was the view and the band. Don’t come here
