Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Amazing, to die for food? Is this your first time eating out? Came here to get rid of a gift card. Should have turned around in the parking lot after seeing the way people dress to eat here. Salad not prepared the way I asked, not offered cheese on salad or either of our meals, overcooked pasta, and the waitress stood there while I entered my tip on the payment kiosk. Everything about this place is about taking your money and offering not much in return.

Amazing food at great prices! I love the hospitality and quick service provided by the staff. The food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely to die for! If your looking for a nice night out with the family, I highly recommend trying this restaurant out!

I was eating my meal with my wife when I saw a server get fired for not serving a minor a drink. To my surprise the manager called the server white trash in front of the whole staff and customers. I will never eat there ever again until management can fire all their managers who are the real white trash. I have been a pipeline welder for for 42 yrs. Enjoy your food folks when the cook drinks while he sprites in your food

The worst meal that I have had at an Olive Garden, the soup bland, the noodles hard, the salad was soggy and they no longer get in fresh veggies except for broccoli. Very disappointing!

food is okay, but this is the second time this particular location has overcharged for an item.
At first I thought no big deal, but now that it has happened a second time, I am writing a review and never going back.

Typical chain restaurant food… Heat n eat. They’re all the same every where you go… If you visit a place like this while on vacation… Shame on you.
That being said… I haven’t had a terrible experience here but its a tired establishment that needs updating. The service was adequate… I would say a reflexion of our area youth… Pretty much mediocre at best. As a patron, not by choice… I can’t say I’ve ever had a craving for any of their offerings. Maybe its time to do a brand overhaul.

Food was mediocre. I was disappointed in my shrimp Alfredo. It came out nearly cold. Other than the food it was very very cold in the restaurant when we mentioned it to the waitress she requested to turn it down. It was off for about 15 minutes before being turned back on! I will be back but it will defiantly be in the winter when the heat is on.

Dinner was good — service was great! Small snafu with dirty silverware — but staff quickly corrected the problem. Desert was awesome! I recommend the hot donuts called Zeppoli — we got them with warm chocolate sauce — yum!

My wife and I always seem to have a good meal and get good service here. It’s not the best Italian food out there… but for the money it’s good and you’ll never leave here hungry. Anyone that complains about paying $ 9.99 for a pasta meal with all-​u-​can-​eat salad and bread sticks should stay home and eat Ramen Noodles.

Ugggghhh. Not here by choice. My friend’s 8-​year-​old picked our restaurant tonight. And I’m pretty sure an 8-​year-​old is the only person that would think this place is okay.
Highlight: our waitress was friendly and attentive.
Not a highlight: the food is just plain old not good. No sense in giving details — this place ain’t worth the time that would take.

The people that work here make this Olive Garden the best!!! Emily is a great server, Brian is a great bartender. They have people that have been working there 10 – 20 years. Just a perfect place.

Not very good food and a pretty poor atmosphere. Service is sufficient but not great. I’d STRONGLY recommend going to one of the countless true Italian restaurants in the area.

We arrived at 5:30. Sat at the bar and got ignored by the bartender. The hostess sat us quick. But after 4 different servers walked past our table, and not one acknowledged us and asked for our drink orders. We waited 20minutes before we left. We decided to go next door to Long Horn which we always get great service.

Not a fan of chain restaurants but we ate limited in boardman. Other family members pick this place. I deal with it for them. Service is usually fast here and servers are nice. Food is… well, olive garden food

Was told there was no seating available with an empty parking lot… I had to go next door instead. *shrug*

We had a gift card to use and some room in our bellies after a wedding reception, so we got a few appetizers and small plates to go. Sweetie had the stuffed mushrooms, which were, well, competent. I had the tortellini small plate, with cheese and prosciutto, which was pretty good, along with fried asparagus, which was darn good. A bit annoyed that they didn’t give us any plasticware but we made do. Takeout service was fast and friendly.

Detailed review: My family and I were traveling and stopped here for dinner. The service was the worst I have ever experienced at a restaurant. From what I over heard, the waiters and waitresses where arguing loudly over tables and it spilled over into them not caring about the tables they already had. The waitress was rude throughout our experience. When bringing our food out, she basically threw our food at us as if she was mad at us. She even brought my soup with a dirty plate on top of it. We will not be returning to this Olive Garden.

It’s a chain restaurant that serves Americanized Italian food. Therefore you can’t expect it to be the best Italian food you’ve ever had. You have to give it credit for what it is.
With that being said, even if it’s a chain that means nothing when it comes to customer service. I don’t think I’ve really ever had good service at the Niles location. They took my favorite dish off the menu years ago and since I’ve stuck with the good olé soup and salad for lunch and dinner. If you get this for dinner don’t expect more then one bowl of soup or salad. I’m guessing cause it’s more of their lunch deal when it comes to dinner the servers just aren’t too worried about it. I’ve only had really bad food once and the server could of cared less. (It wasn’t that the food was BAD per say but my zuppa legit had onion peels in it… I even showed the server and she laughed).
On the weekends be prepared to wait as it does get pretty busy. The best time to go is when they’re offering the unlimited pasta bowl. Other then that id head to Salvatore’s or Antone’s if you’re looking for good Italian food and decent service.

This is the place everybody loves to go to for Italian food. Everyone except real Italians, of course. This American chain restaurant is great for Americans who want full bellies and are willing to pay the carb’ price.
The food is tasty, I am not going to argue that. I have left here many times with no real complaints. Its just too heavy for my liking. I don’t like the feeling of having cement in my belly. (shrugs)
On a weekend the restaurant is packed, but they try to keep the lines moving and get you in and out in a reasonable time. The wait staff is usually experienced and prompt. And since they bring you salad to munch on while you wait for the main course, you won’t even notice the hole in your wallet when you leave!

service was great after waiting 10mins for a drink. I got the special and had to send it back twice, because the chef couldn’t cook the steak right. all and all it was a pretty shitty meal. prob, wouldn’t go back. there’s to many places to eat around here, to get crappy food from here.
