Chicken cheesesteak combo with hand cut fries… very tasty!
Cute sandwich spot in a cute part of town. I was referred here by a couple coworkers and I decided to check it out. The bread was soft and the chicken cheesesteak was tasty. The fries were good just a little soggy but they were hand cut fries so i still appreciated them. I wanted to give them 5 stars but it was a little expensive. I would go back in fact it has become an office favorite

Food is Great me and my boyfriend got the classic philly cheese steaks with a side of fries and two fountine drinks. On the down side it was pretty expensive ($ 30.00) ego be exact when I could make the same meal at home for not even a quarter of that.

I make better cheese steak at home. The «Classic» tasted like ground beef instead of steak, but I did love the tornado potato. My hubby liked the «Arn» sandwich. Too expensive for what we got. The place had a strange odor. Would not go back again.

Got Arns favorite and added the tornado. It was delicious. My wife got the tornado in philly and said «Damn good cheese steak». Don’t forget the gelato truffle Spumoni ice cream for dessert. Good stuff.

Not being an avid meat eater I can’t say I frequent this place. A coworker took a bunch of us out to lunch one day to beyond philly. I thought it was fine. Clean, decent prices, and a wide selection of cheese steaks.

Being from Philadelphia, I am pretty tough on the quality of a cheesesteak. So I was quite surprised at the quality and authenticity of this cheesesteak. The meat was cooked to perfection and the provolone cheese melted perfectly. The roll was a bit soft for my liking but still a very good sandwich. The fries certainly appeared fresh cut and were done to perfection. Best fries I have had on Long Island.
Restaurant itself was spotless and decorated with Philly and Long Island pictures… very cheery environment. Lastly, the staff was friendly and polite.

Once again, Beyond Philly far exceeded our expectations! Got a piping hot classic wit wiz, onions, and Fresh hot cherry peppers! The wiz was ozzing and the the chopped steak was boiling hot and served on a perfect sized hero! We also got a classic philly in a wrap, that was packed to a two fister size. We coupled that with fresh cut fries crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Beyond Philly saved me from taking a three hour ride to Philadelphia! This place rocks

We have dined here a few times and really enjoy the classic cheese steak sandwiches! These are probably the closest that you will get in NY to Pat’s and Gino’s in Philly!!!

Yummy Cheesesteaky goodness! We went on a Saturday night around 6:00 and the place was empty and I’m not sure why because the food was sooo good. I got the American and the sweet potato fries and they were delish. The owner was so nice we will definitely be returning!

Beyond Philly. Not quite sure why there’s a negative outlook on this place; I had the classic and thought it was pretty good. not saying this is exquisite food… it’s a Philly cheese-​steak, and it ain’t in Philly… but it comes close; they could charge about a buck and a half less.
They certainly need to do something to drive customers in… because it’s dead, and already had a bad rep starting out.
The bad rep ain’t in my household though, we all enjoy it! Sometimes I feel you could get a little more in the sandwich itself but it’s tasty anyway.
Get the corn nuggets! Just don’t expect an awful lot of them per order :(
Portion can be inconsistent and a let down but taste is never an issue.

If you are a fan of Gino’s or Pat’s in Philly, then you will love this place. Its nothing gourmet. Its exactly what you would get down in Philly. We come here monthly and have never been disappointed. Its fast, its affordable and it does the job.
Try the tornado potato. They use some type of spinning cutter to make homemade style chips on a stick. They are pretty good.

Love the classic philly and arn’s favorite. Great tasting, filling, made with love.
After yo place your order, you can watch through the window as Arn makes your order.
Get a loaded tornado potato, try the corn nuggets, the fried pickles.
I always go thinking about trying something different but it’s hard to pass the Classic up.

So far I have only been here once. and it was ok. a little grease, which I guess it is to be expected. the philly’s weren’t as big as I though they were going to be. my boyfriends brother ordered his with extra meat and was charged basically for a whole nother sandwhich. overall I would try it another time. not looking at size and price the sandwich was good. cant really complain when there is fries on your philly.

For all you blazing saddles fans… Madeline Kahn’s famous saying. …“it’s true, it’s true”!!! Beyond Philly has extended the borders of Philly all the way to Blue Point long island! This place is totally awesome with a nice 50’s retro feel. I love it! The classic wiz wit is perfect!

The first time I got a sandwich from here it blew my mind. I split the Arn’s cheesesteak and the buffalo chicken sandwich. SO good. The cheese is melted and delicious… I also tried the Tornado Potato which is a potato cut into one large spiral and fried. It comes out super hot and super crispy! It’s definitely worth a try.
They actually have a Groupon deal going right now for 2 sandwiches, 2 large fries, and 2 drinks for $ 16. That’s a deal and a half!

Went here with the wife for dinner tonight.
Had a Groupon.
Small dining room if your eating there. Also the place was freezing.
Food was ok, not great. They were sold out of normal sized hero’s, so had a classic in a smaller hero. Bread was a bit soggy. Sand which was decent enough.
Wife had chicken sandwich. It was ok.
Fries were good, could have been a bit crispier.
I would return if I’m in the area if I had another Groupon. Would not make the trip for more than a 10 minute ride and would not pay regular price as I don’t think it would be worth it.
