Cvs Pharmacy

CVS has become a train wreck. Important prescriptions have been on back order for months, the hours listed on the website/app are not the correct hours, wait times are very long, and CVS has added more arbitrary rules starting in 2022 to make getting prescriptions even harder.

This pharmacy has been a very bad experience for me over the years. I have tried to keep hoping it would get better but it has only gotten worse. The service is awful. The wait times are higher than any other pharmacy I’ve experienced. Other pharmacies will accomodate getting an antibiotic script processed (not mixed but processed) when you are on your way with a sick child. At this CVS I typically have to wait so long that I have to take the sick child home and then go back out much later to get the script. Recently I had an experience where the automated call said my child’s script was ready and when I got there it was going to be a 20 minute wait. I’ve had many rude experiences however tonight was the worst. The pharmacy tech was rude and treated me very poorly. There was a mistake with my Dr. sending my scripts there instead of mailorder and she was so frustrated that they had filled these items that I didn’t need. She was telling me that «they ordered these just for me» and there was a lot of attitude and eyerolling. I work in the pharma wholesale industry and know that they can return the drugs with no issues. That was my last visit ever to a CVS pharmacy, again the CVS machine puts scripts filled ahead of patient and customer care.

I love their front desk staff, they go above and beyond to honor every coupon and get me the best deals. Also Robert, one of the pharmacists, is great, he also goes above and beyond and even greets me by name. They lose a star because honestly I never see Robert there anymore (does he still work there, hope so!) And instead the pharmacists are confused and much less helpful. The lines back there are worse and worse (30+ minutes even before the holidays just to pick up an Rx that’s ready!) yet they cut the hours so the pharmacy is no longer 24 hrs. It makes no sense, and I’m thinking about just transferring my scripts which id feel bad doing as the rest of their staff is really friendly and helpful.

This was by far the worst experience with Cvs. I called to get a prescription transferred and the first woman who answered the phone was rude. Very short and was not listening and cutting me off every second she got. I then asked to speak to a manager. I was then put on hold, for a long time. Then finally another woman answered w «Cvs How can I help you» I asked if she was a manager and without any response, put me back on hold. Another long wait later a man answered, and asked him the same thing. He said he wasn’t but how could he help me? He said he had just gotten there and didn’t know anything about the situation. Long story short, he tried to help me, but again there came the attitude. Literally almost yelling at me, enough that I had to hang up. What kind of customer service is this Cvs?! I will never use Cvs ever again! This phone call happened between 8:30−9pm 3÷24÷15

The pharmacists are so helpful. I walked in asking for anything that would help the bug that I caught from coworkers and was given a plethora of information on how to alleviate symptoms and when I should see my doc. They definitely go above and beyond. Plus you gotta love the drive-​thru pharmacy.
