Came in for the literally uncountable time this year I am a regular customer knew most of the women that worked there, I am a caregiver, and my sibling and her fiancé live with me as well. At that time I am sitting there with my roommate, my sisters fiancé, as we are awaiting the women to finish her pedicure on my sister, I had gotten one a week before Christmas. This women that was Vietnamese last time I had been there told me her name was«Dani.» I usually spend a lot of money in places like this and was very disrespected by this women, as I approached her with a waive and asked if she had a good holiday season. She replied, «How far along are you,» as though I was pregnant. Now thinking maybe I am just fat for a second I replied, «I am not pregnant.» Then I left and decided in that very moment I was never going back due to the amount of rudeness that takes to even ask someone that, I don’t know who raised her but she apparently grew up without any manners none the less, you do not bite the hand that feeds you. So I completely do not understand that treatment. Also this happened on New Years eve so what the hell lady are you just flat out trying to be rude its a holiday and you can’t be nice!!! I weigh fucking 125 llbs !

The pedicure was good, but the hygiene left something to be desired. I did notice that the guy doing my pedi would place instruments on the floor when he wasn’t using them, and then pick them up and use them again. This seems like a very unsanitary practice. I also didn’t see the tubs being disinfected, only rinsed out. Other than those things, the pedicure itself felt great! The guy did massage my calves a little bit too hard with his thumbs, but he softened when I told him that it hurt. Overall, other than the hygiene issues, the experience was good.

I have been to this salon before and it has been average but I will not ever go back after my last experience. The guy who did my fill in was very rude and even rolled his eyes at me when I asked him to touch up the white tips of my French set. He did not listen to me at all when I told him what I wanted. He used old nail clippers to cut down my nails and the end result is truly frustrating. It’s not with wasting your money or your time.

We had gone here before to get our pedicures done. And at that time they did a great job. This last time we went to the lady barely massaged my feet. I don’t even think I would call it a massage. She was more interested in watching the soccer game on TV they giving two farts about us! There were three of us and only one of us got the attention that we should have gotten. And she is a 8 y/o. My toe nails were filed crooked.

I’ve been here several times and my experience is always rather average. I haven’t had the extreme negative experiences that others have had though. The shop is rather large and there are usually several people working at once. Most of the time that I come in there is usually at least a few minute wait and sometimes the wait can be up to 15 – 20 mins. The nail techs just do their job without chatting you up – which I actually find rather refreshing. I go get my nails done to relax, not to tell the nail tech my life story. The biggest advantages of this place are its convenient location in the mall and that they take walk-ins(even if there is a small wait).

holy smokes! hands down the worst pedicure i have ever had in my whole entire life. literally… it took my guy 30 mins to poke at my toes, wash and scrub, and then paint with thick dried out polish. i was actually so upset that i didnt even want him to redo or correct the clumpy polish. save your money and time and go elsewhere!

Donna who works here is awesome and does Amazing nail art but other than to see her I’m not stepping foot in this place again. They don’t seem to be capable of even the simplest procedures. My ‘no chip’ manicure was chipping within two days. When I went back to have it fixed the basically ripped the surface of my nails off. Really amateur work.

I’ve had better pedicures at nicer salons but I was visiting relatives in Bloomington and basically picked out of the phone book. I give Nailtique 2.5 stars. Any case, I call Saturday afternoon enquiring about a Sunday afternoon spa day for me and my posse of female in-laws. No problem, they can fit four of us in for mani-pedis anytime. Curious! I can never get a weekend appointment at my regular salons for two people or more with less than 24 hours notice. We arrive and the first thing I noticed is that it was really difficult to pick out colors because of the crappy dim lighting in the place — they are in the mall and have no natural light. As a result, my MIL and aunt get colors they end up hating because they couldn’t really tell what color they were picking. The tools were in little boxes, not autoclave bags opened in front of me, so I have no idea if they were freshly autoclaved or not(and when they were autoclaved). Just because you have autoclaves centrally located doesn’t mean they are used, YWIM? The scratchy pumice thing that was used on me was not new, it was all worn round on the edges and quite old. Minus points for these possible hygiene issues. I can’t speak for the quality of the mani-pedis for the other ladies, but I guess my pedi was fine, we’ll see how long it lasts. My pedicurist did paint a nice design on my nails when I asked for $ 5 extra. It’s been a week and nothing has chipped yet. The base price of $ 25 is high for just a pedicure, though. It was also off-putting when the technician asked me to pay in cash and not via credit or debit card.
