Jimmy John’s

We just had a lovely sandwich delivery from Jimmy John’s on Penn. Lovely and nutritious sandwiches, which we custom designed ordering online. Very nice delivery person. Happy Sandwich Day!

Fast, edible subs. Infrequent screw ups. Parking is difficult during lunch and this place is LOUD! Staff needs to settle down/​grow up and use their inside voices.

I ordered delivery on a Friday around noon. 45 minutes went by and I had not received my order. I called and they said they were 9 drivers short. My sandwich arrived after 1 hour and it was soggy. I ordered an Italian. OK so maybe that was a rough day. So I ordered again today at 11:15. Finally at noon my sandwich arrived. I know it can get busy during weekday lunches but don’t pride yourself on being freaky fast if you cannot deliver. This time I ordered a Beach Club and it was pretty good but that’s probably because there is no oil to make it soggy. If they threw in a pickle or cookie or chips as a sorry for the delay I would have been more forgiving.

Worst place ever orders food at 9 pm and 35 min go by and I call and the guy on the phones wants to act like a tough guy because I’m wondering were my food is. he said it won’t make it come any faster and I ask for the manager and he said he was the manager I ask for corporate number and he told me to look it up and then he give me a fake name. worst service ever I was ready to just drive down there to show him how respect you don’t handle paying hungry customers with only a 30 min lunch like that

It was love at first bite… and for a gluten free girl at a sub shop, that says a LOT. JJ’s has been the only place I’d go for sandwiches for the last several years, with their ‘un-​wich’ bringing me meaty satisfaction with every bite. So, I had a hankering the other day, and stopped in at this location. Both staff and store were squeaky clean. Food was fast… and all of our orders were correct! Yea! Can’t complain there, but wait! Like a child whose lolli has been knocked out of her hand into the dirt, I found myself standing at the counter in dismay as the girl behind the counter flippantly informs me that JJ’s has eliminated sprouts from the menu!!! I reluctantly added extra tomatoes and lettuce to my wrap, but the want of sprouts would not leave my mind. JJ’s will never be the same for me again. :(

They’re FREAKY fast.

JJ’s is the place I head to whenever I forget to bring my lunch to work or don’t feel like eating the lunch I brought. All the workers here are pretty fast and will often have your sub ready before you’re even done paying for it. My only gripe is that because they make the subs hastily they sometimes mess up what you ask for. No mayo you say? How about extra mayo when you open your sub?! Ask for your sub to be cut in half… you get the point. Overall, the quality of the food and general service trump the occasional mistake.
