Pretty good authentic food, it’s not like it use to be, when it was ran by previous owners, but it’s decent. Taco Man on weekends is decent but lack consistency in the way the meat is either cooked or prepared. I have had Asada tacos and not always is the meat the same type or kind. The Menudo and Pozole on weekends is pretty bomb as well as the Chile Rellenos!

This used to be my «Wet» Burrito spot back in the day. I used to be a weekly regular here about 10 – 12 years ago, when I used to work in the area, and I drove trucks small enough to park nearby. I hadnt been here since 2008, when I had a craving for a Carne Asada Burrito Mojado. I was in the area, so I made my way over here. I pulled into the parking lot, and noticed the«New Management» sign. Worried, I made my way in anyway. They have done some remodeling, walls painted, Diego Rivera reprints on the wall. Nice touch. Gone are the pictures of «Chalino» and Oscar De La Hoya. Novelas were on both the TVs hung up. The«do it yourself» chip and salsa are gone, there is a cooler there full of bebidas. Jarritos, Coke, and a variety of beers. New menu to go with the new look, I saw that Tripas was now featured here. Awesome. I asked the Lady there if the food was the same. She replied that it was. Still have chips and salsa? «Yes.» Score! So I ordered my Wet Carne Asada Burrito, a Tripas taco, and a large Horchata and sat down. My Horchata came out, light on ice(which I like), and a HUGE cup. Cool. It is tap Horchata, so its not homeade. Standard, nothing special. My chips came out, with red and green salsa in a couple of syrup pourers. I like the syrup pourer salsa concept, but can I get a bowl? Or do I need to pour some on each chip? Apparently the latter, because thats just what I did, pour Salsa Verde on each individual chip. The red sauce wasn’t that good. I remember this place having better salsa. Then my food came out. It looked nothing like the Wet Burrito I used to get. The old way was smothered in red enchilada sauce, with a grip on molten cheese on it. This Burrito was covered in lukewarm chile verde salsa, lettuce, pico, and sour cream. I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t what I remembered, but it looked great nonetheless, so I dug in. The inside of the burrito was exactly how I remembered. Thin-cut, yet still tender bits of steak, good spanish rice and beans, cilantro and onions. Good quality ingredients. Even though this isn’t what I came in for. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I was HUGE as well, I had to get a third of it to-go. I liked the old one better, with the red enchilada sauce being the reason. But the new one is a completely different concept, and I applaud them for changing things up a bit. I still think the burrito is very good, I just dont fancy the sauce covering it up as much. The sour cream, and shredded lettuce are welcome additions however. The Taco de Tripas was fantastic! Lots of huge morsels of tripas, some about 4-inches long! There was enough tripas in this one taco, that I could take the second tortilla out from under the first tortilla, and make a second taco out of it! The tripas are cooked really well, then flash fried I’m sure. The result is a crispy, almost burnt exterior; with a still chewy and tasty interior. SUCH great texture! I will be back for these for sure! The restaurant was clean, and the staff was indifferent. Not rude, just preoccupied. I shall return.

WORST Service ever!!! My husband ordered over the phone picked up our order, gets home realized our whole order was wrong! He calls the place to let them know the problem the lady still argues w/him & tells him he’s wrong! What happened to the customer service & the whole the client is always right! She could’ve said it nicely but no she had to be rude about it! If they knew how to run a restaurant they would be nicer to their customers & be able to control their restaurant no matter how busy it is! We will most likely never be ordering anything from this place again!!! I would’ve left it w/o a star but I had to in order to give this restaurant a review!

This is sort of a hole in the wall, if there ever was one. They have very good burrito’s, and now that I moved I am finding it hard to find a good El Pastor burrito like they make. They are big, but do not fall apart, they taste absolutely delicious and this place is packed on the weekend with everyone getting their Menudo. They do sell out of soup so first come first serve. They have maybe 7 or 8 tables, so limited seating. On the weekends they usually have a taco man outside selling all sorts of tacos.
