DSW always has a ton of shoes so it’s rare that I don’t find what I’m looking for(or didn’t even know I was looking for!). I had a coupon(join their club if you haven’t), and I found a cute pair of fall shoes and some fun socks! The staff was very friendly and greeted me as I came in and asked me if I needed any help while browsing. Before I checked out, one of them let me know she could handle my purchase away from the counter if I was paying by credit card and was okay with an email receipt. It was a very nice offer, and I took her up on it and was out of there in no time! Good stuff as always from DSW.

My first and only experience in this brand of stores was quite disappointing. We were asked upon entering what brought us in(um hello, SHOES) and were completely dismissed once we said we were looking for shoes. I struggled to figure out a pair of $ 100 boots that weren’t real leather. No one around to ask for help. My family and I ended up buying like 6 pairs of shoes– well over $ 300 and it was all self service. Worse than trying to shop for shoes at Kohls. Even when I asked an associate to take some large, heavy boots up to checkout for me so I could keep shopping, I was told they’d be put on a bench halfway between me and the check out. I’d much rather prefer the service at Trade Home or Smiths shoes but their selection of dress shoes isn’t the best.

I don’t think I could love DSW more. This store has amazing customer service and though it is a smaller DSW, it still has a great selection of shoes. Who I assume is one of the managers(at least she should be a manager) was very friendly and helpful when I had to return two pairs of shoes. She and another sales associate helped me to send out shoes to my mother as well. The best customer service I have ever had was had at this store, I hope they keep it up and I plan on coming back!
