Nevada Diner Restaurant

Welcomed by a friendly staff and delicious array of deserts. The food was good, slightly better than the average diner, though I only ordered a cheeseburger and it took to 15 – 20 minutes to come out. The wait staff was alright, though could of been a step better.

I haven’t been here in years! The owners have changed but the food is still good. I ordered the pancakes and turkey sausage (yay for this option). I forgot what the size of Jersey pancakes are! Next time I will definitely get the short stack.
The coffee I got came with a sugar swizzle stick that transported me back to my childhood. I truly enjoyed my meal and will be back the next time I am in town.

Fantastic food. Wanted food late at night and I went to Nevada Diner and had one of the best late night experiences at a restaurant. Staff is extremely polite. Relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place. Get the skirt steak and eggs!

Awesome diner! I eat it all the time. Nice people. They have great pea soup. Reminds me of my mom’s.

Everytime I go to this diner, the service is slow. Coffee is weaker than your average weak diner coffee. Gave this place a few tries, food was average. Skip it, there are better diners out there.

This is regarding delivery only.
Took more than two hours for a delivery just over a mile away. The food I ordered was ICE COLD. If I wanted to I would not have ordered waste of money and time. No real response from restaurant.

Quality has continuously gone done over the years. The food they serve is a far cry from what’s on the menu or what they used to serve.
There’s many other options around in this area, I’m going to try another place — so should you!!!

Been here for a lot of years but they must have changed management because my last experience was awful! The restaurant was not clean cob web above my seat on lamp I noticed after I ate. My dish was fine but my husbands French toast was raw and when we sent it back came back the same just burnt. They didn’t bother to remake diah they just heating up again and honestly was terrible. Then when we say we have don’t want it and not to charge us for it because we were obviously not going to keep he’s like well I have to check with my manager. Really?! Bitter sweet because I don’t live in area anymore and went there for nostalgic reasons since I was a kid but RIP Nevada diner won’t be back again

First time here. Pretty good. I usually judge a place by how their plain burger is. It was decent. Not as flavorful as I would have hoped. But the service is good and sitting outside in the sun is nice. I’ll try it again if I’m in the area. Average spot.

My absolute favorite diner .
The service is great, I’ve only had one bad experience where we didn’t end up giving a tip & we always tip but other than that I love this diner.
The one time it was bad I ordered a bagel with eggs cream cheese, sausage and cheese and the waiter asked me do I want everything on the bagel & even tho I stated yes everything on the bagel he came back to the table with a plate that had the bagel on it, a little bowl of cream cheese and cheese eggs. Also forgot my sausage. I decided to take it to go because I was humiliated. When I order something I want it how I want it. Then that day I’d gotten home and my egg had mold on it so happy I didn’t eat it .
Also the fried calamari is soggy I expected it to be crispy. Other than that I’ve spent several nights and mornings here

A big angry with them. Ordered for delivery, said it would be an hour and accepted that. It was closer to two hours which is a crazy wait for delivery. And the food was lukewarm at best and there wasn’t potatoes like listed… Oh and thr soup came in a Styrofoam cup.
The only saving grace was the cheesecake which I called in and ordered separately and it wasn’t listed on receipt so I didn’t think it was in bag, so it was free. I’m sure it was unintentional but with the long wait and cold food, it was the tiny jewel that I got a free dessert. Tip: diners aren’t specialists in delivery, so come in or get pizza.

Service: Servers usually get everything correct. Service is quick even when they are busy.
Food: Lots of options. Tasty.
If you have a sweet tooth for sure try the cheesecake. They have plenty dessert choices. Very yummy.
They also have a full bar. I’ve personally never had a drink here, but bartenders look like they know what they are doing.

I’ve been here at least a dozen times and I was hoping the remodeling would also come with a new level of food to match. Sadly, it seems the opposite is true, the food is worse than before.
If it was the end of the world and this was the last diner in NJ, you would still have to drag me in here. I was served rotten salad and when I sent it back I was *informed* that there was nothing wrong with it. They proceeded to replace the rotten salad with the most dull, unseasoned fries this side of the Mississippi. The ‘fancy gourmet’ bun on the avocado burger was the same kind one can purchase from path mark or shopright… for 30 cents. The burger was bland, there was a distracted afterthought of sauce on half of the burger. The avocados were cut so thickly and unevenly I can’t help but imagine what had the chef so preoccupied that he apparently was not looking at what he was doing. I’m almost worried about his fingers.

Great place to eat breakfast, lunch and/​or dinner! The service is pretty good. They redesigned the place and added a full bar and it looks great!

Went in on a Thursday night to take advantage of the «with purchase of alcoholic beverage, ½ off appetizers.» So we ordered 2 bottles of coronas and prior to ordering all appetizers I had asked the waiter that if everything on the appetizers menu were half off and he said yes. When the bill came sure enough nothing was taken off and when I approach the hostess in the front then I was told the promotion does not apply to beers. And she was only willing to take 1 appetizer off for half price… Stating that the promotion only valid for 1 appetizer only… No where on the ad does it states that and they wouldn’t do anything else so in the end I just paid the bill and I will not be coming back… Off to Applebee’s. Too bad because the food was actually half way decent.

Where do I begin? First we arrived and were seated immediately however the table we were initially seated at was for two very skinny people, so we moved to another and that was not technically not big enough for my boo since his stomach was smothered into the table. So moved to a table that was fine.
We sat down and waited for 15 minutes before someone came and brought us coffee and another 30 minutes for someone to take our order. Fortunately, the hostess brought us our coffee, but had to remind the waiter to take our order. As we were about to get up the waiter came. However, the person who took our order was not the person she spoke too. The waiter never introduced himself, just took the order and left. Once the food came out the food looked so bland and not what we requested.
We both ordered cornbeef hash with eggs — his eggs were over medium and mines were scrambled; we both ordered extra crispy hashbrowns. His eggs looked as if they cracked the eggs and put it on the plate and both of the hashbrowns were not crispy and lacking in taste.
Normally he does not send back food, but he did so I continued to eat my food which was ok UNTIL… I found a piece of plastic in my cornbeef OMG. At this point he just started to eat his food and he said «forget it im not hungry.»
We spoke to the manager who was very accommodating after we made him realize that we were not paying for the plate with plastic or plate that was full of food. We said we would pay for the coffee which was $ 4.05 (which was watered down and no bueno).
Overall had a bad experience and would not come again.

One of the cleanest better decorated modern Diners around. Enjoyable food and despite out waiters lack of smiles he was still attentive enough. This Diner seems to have to parking lots before and after. It has a newly decorated patio with tables and chairs that’s very welcoming.
We ordered the chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks which both were good. We also ordered the chicken wrap stuffed with Greek salad n with a side of requested tzatziki sauce it was very enjoyable. A must buy if you like that combo.
In addition a grilled chicken sandwich with portobello mushroom on a panini. Again very good and a must buy. Will undoubtedly be back again with fam.

I like this diner. So far I had some good breakfasts and dinner salads here. I enjoy ordering the bodybuilder omelette which comes with grilled chicken and veggies. The Greek salad with chicken is great. Very yummy grape leaves. The have a lovely outdoor seating area too!

Great diner, my dinner time spot, and occasional great breakfast. This is the best Diner in Bloomfield, hands down. Any time day or night, you can get a tasty, healthy meal here.
Salads are great, as is the Greek food, the same owners run the Stamna Greek Taverna, and the Chicken Taverna and Lemon Potatoes are the same recipe. Chicken Souvlaki is great, but I wish they’d give you real Gyro, not the formed patties, especially if you guys are Greek.
I ordered a fruit salad here the other day, and it was handcut fresh, the best I’d ever had.

The service is not the greatest. Our waitress Alex may have had an off night. She put in the wrong orders & wasn’t the brightest bulb. She tried to make up for her mistakes & was genuinely sorry.
She took our orders down & repeated it back to us. We repeated our orders at least three times. She managed to put the orders in wrong. She was surprised that we told her the Shrimp|Avocado Wraps were suppose to be Quesadillas. Alex, after the long wait nobody has time to wait patiently for you to get the orders right.
Once the food finally arrived I was elated & beyond starved. The Quesadilla was huge. It was filled with jumbo Shrimp & freshly sliced Avocado. It came with a side of Sour Cream & Salsa. It was good the only thing I would have enjoyed even more was if the shrimp was seasoned with something. The Quesadillas were big enough to split between two people. The seasoned Waffle Fries were delicious.
