Worst service! Mediocre food. The waitresses at this place seem to have their favorite customers. If you’re not a local, be prepared to wait a long time for drinks and food! There’s way better places to eat in this town than this«hole in the wall.»

100% love the atmosphere but was only 70% impressed with the food. Traditional bacon, eggs and French toast. The food was fine but it wasn’t spectacular. The signs on the wall were fun to read though and the guy at check-in/out was a doll!

Lots of folks have already said what needs to be said about this special restaurant. Simply stated we always enjoy going there, the food well prepared, service excellent and prices very reasonable(cash only). Our addition to these reviews is the Hole In The Wall Dog which is a large hot dog smothered in chili, onions and cheese with cole slaw on the side. Sandra describes it as a «Meg Ryan moment.» I’ll let you figure out if she liked her lunch. Fun place open for breakfast and lunch and highly recommended.

We’ve been on the road and this is a comparison between our breakfast yesterday at Cracker Barrel in Front Royal, VA and the breakfast we had just now at The Hole In the Wall here in Blairsville, GA. Hole In The Wall — over easy eggs were gorgeous and tasted wonderful. Biscuits were handmade, fluffy, moist and golden Hashbrowns were hot and just-cooked hot off the grill. Coffee was how perked coffee should taste. Real creamers. Our server was top drawer polite and not rushed. Lots of locals dining at various tables(good indicator of excellent food at an appropriate price.) Breakfast for 3 = $ 16.80 or $ 20 with tip. Cracker Barrel over-easy eggs were flavorless and slapped on the plate. Biscuits were dry and barely golden and brought in a basket. Hash browns had been cooked an hour or so prior to serving and over-salted and seasoned. Coffee was basically brown sugar water served with whitener — not cream or milk. Our server was pushing the white chocolate pancakes on us — we declined but she needed to make sure by pushing them yet again and she wore loud jingle bells that were constantly heard all around the restaurant to the server’s glee but not to the diners’. Breakfast for 3 = $ 33 or 38 with tip. Restaurants like Hole In The Wall are a treasure.

An adorable breakfast and lunch place nestled in cute little down town Blairsville. My mother and I went one afternoon. Breakfast served all day(which I love) so I got a veggie omelet. Nice big chunks of fresh veggies and the eggs tasted fresh as well. My mom got liver and onions and said it was fantastic. I don’t eat meat, so there weren’t many choices for me for lunch, but I love breakfast foods any time of the day. The place is very cute and cozy and appears to be family owned. The school bus dropped some of the waitresses kids off at the restaurant and it was super cute. Only thing is they only take cash or a check! Next time I would love to try one of their homemade soups!

$ 2.05 gets you the most delicious no grease grilled biscuit with a crispy fried egg and a slice of cheese you have ever had. EVER. For another .25 they throw on a fat slice of tomato. The food is fantastic here. The chicken and dumplings I had for dinner on my last visit I still have dreams about. Go right now!

Good Breakfast For Sunday breakfast in Blairsville, the Hole in the Wall seems to be the place to go. There was a line, but it moved quickly. Service is fun and friendly. Prices are very fair. Food is very good. We particularly liked the country ham. Also good was the French toast and the grits.

CUTE, QUAINTANDREADYTOFEEDYOU! This little restaurant is located in on the square in downtown Blairsville, GA. After researching the area and discovering that this particular restaurant dates back to 1931, I knew that we would be eating breakfast here. The restaurant is small and quaint from the outside but surprisingly spacious on the inside. Seating consists of tables and booths. We chose a booth and it was very comfortable, just the right height with plenty of personal space. I just love natural wood and of course it was everywhere! Various signs such as(«A fool and his money are soon wanted everywhere», «Beware, my dog can’t hold his licker») are posted through– out the restaurant. You may also purchase your souvenir t-shirts here. Upon entering the restaurant we are warmly greeted and invited to seat ourselves. Our waitress quickly appears and after some consideration, My husband decides to order the western omelet(with toast and home fries), plate and I order the scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes. My eggs were light and fluffy and my bacon was well prepared and crisp. I did find that the bacon was a bit too salty for me, but it did provide a nice balance to the lightly seasoned eggs. I always give major points for real potatoes with the skin on, that are well seasoned and not greasy. These were great although they could have been warmer. My husband’s omelet was very well done from the ingredients to the way that it was seasoned and cooked. Everything about this restaurant(food, customer service, the locals, ambiance) was very nice and relaxing. It was as if we were visiting our favorite relative’s home. We would definitely eat here again! BUTWAIT… As we exit the restaurant, we encounter a musical group seated just outside the door playing Blue Grass music. They were really good and certainly the cherry on top!

Very good food. I had Eggs Benedict, delicious. I was surprised at how expensive this little place was though. Not sure if they will survive in this town with those prices. But great place for a home cooked meal!

Very average. Eggs were a little sloppy, potatoes greasy. Definitely a local place. Not great.

Pros: nice service, local, down home country folks Cons: way overpriced(look at the menu), smells bad inside like old people who smoke 3 packs a day, very unclean, mediocre food to say the least. Won’t be back!

Great little eclectic joint in the square in downtown Blairsville. We had breakfast for lunch and it was hearty and filling. The menu consists of traditional southern favorites like over sized biscuits, grits, and egg dishes. I had biscuits with gravy. The gravy was a little pasty but it tasted yummy. The wait staff is great and the atmosphere is easy for kids.

Ate here two days in a row, that says something in and of itself! Food was great, I had the Crab BLT with fries for lunch both days! Would have given them 5 stars but the order took exceptionaly longer on the second day. Great food and would recommend them.

Been in here before and will be coming back again. The coffee for start is great. the service is friendly and helpful with menu info. We order the healthy omelet,(spinach) I with grits and wife with hash browns, and two pancake. The pancakes came over cook,(bottom side burn) Next one tasted out of a box, not as before that we have experience at this establishment, hope they go back to the original receipt on the pancakes. By the way the server will keep your coffee mug full with fresh Coffey. REMEMBERCASHORCHECKONLY.

This place was great. It is a little hole in the wall restaurant but it has a great atmosphere(eclectic!) and friendly staff(who are happy to suggest food items) and the food was delicious. Remember they do not take credit or plastic… cash or check! I would stop here again and recommend it :)

Definitely a little dive. The signs all over the walls are hilarious to read. The lunch is pretty good, but the breakfast cannot be touched. 6 bucks buys 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, choice of: grits, hashbrowns, home fries, and toast or biscuit(fluffiest dang things you ever seen!) Waitresses are cute and on top of everything all the time! We’ll be back everytime. Went there twice while staying in the area for a week!
