Coyote Bar & Grill

I’ve been watching this Unilocal page for a few months since my mother was insulted by the owner due to leaving a Unilocal review. Not sure if anyone else has noticed… but kinda interesting that all the 3 stars and below get marked as «funny» right? Is this the oh so funny restaurant staff trying to push the review into being hidden? Who knows but if so– super tacky.
I will still never be returning unless I see that the management changes hands.

This is the second time I have gone to the restaurant and been ignored. We ordered a drink and later called a waitress to order take out. At that time there were 4 active tables. She brought the food, we asked for a bill which never came. 15 minutes went by (cold food now) so I went to the bar to ask for it and waited another 5 minutes to even have the waitress/​bartender look at me. She is standing In front of me but never looked up, acknowledged said go to hell or anything. I’m done and willNEVER take family or friends here and will discourage others.

Been here a couple of times with my husband. Food and service were mediocre, nothing to write home about. I was surprised at how small of a place it is. Inside space is small as well as bar. Outside space is great in the summer! Menu is different for winter and summer. Summer appears to be a Tex-​Mex thing and winter is American. They also have prime rib in winter which is good.

A 4+ rating. My husband and I stopped by for a bite to eat and a beer. Happy hour meant we had 2 for 1 beers. We both ordered carnitas tostadas for dinner. I had soup with my meal, my husband had salad. We were really pleased with our meals. The tostadas, soup and salad were delicious and the presentation nice! We were offered ice cream for dessert (little sundaes). Nice topper to the meal. Enjoyed their chips and bean dip, really good. Our service was polite and timely. Enjoyed sitting outside watching the world go by. We will be back! Oh yeah, the portions were huge! We could have easily shared 1 meal.

The employees need some serious training on how to do their jobs.
We had 4 different waitresses. The first one was apparently the bartender. She did not tell us it was happy hour when we were there nor did she offer us water. The next girl was maybe the hostess. She brought up chips and dip after we’d been there at least 20 minutes. The next girl was supposed to be our waitress, but we did all the work for her. We prompted her to ask us what sides we wanted, we prompted her to get us more drinks etc. The main meal came while we still had the starter on the table. A 4^th girl came and took our dessert order. The whole experience was very lack luster and too expensive for what we got.
It would be nice if the owner or manager of the restaurant provided all employees with job training.

I should have come here when I was really hungry as the portions we had for dinner were HUGE! The chips and salsa alone should have been my warning to what was to come as they were fresh, hot, and delicious. I ordered a pork tostada, and let’s just say I could have shared that with another person and we both would have been full. It was really, really good. The pork was nice and tender and seasoned just right. My boyfriend teased me as I was eating the serrano peppers like they were chips. He was actually amazed that I could do it. I eat serrano’s all the time so they don’t really affect me like it does others. Oh one weird thing about this place is the salad. I have never had baby shrimp in my salad as a standard. It was good just very different. Needless to say we passed on the free ice cream as we didn’t even finish our meals, which sucked because they really were good but couldn’t take it with us as we were in hotel. All in all, very good eats.

Great food, good drinks, nice staff.
Locations right by the road so, not very quiet but the inside provides quieter seating.
Worth stopping by!

I loved this place when they had steak nachos on the menu. It was so popular and I have no idea why they removed. Love the deck. Mark was a super bartender but since he has been gone it isn’t as fun. Wait staff isn’t very friendly. Can’t order a hamburger anytime but lunch now. Service has become dismal. I used to rate this place 4 or 5 stars all the time but I swear they are going downhill fast.

Have eaten here a number of times — Never will again! One waitress on the patio — nothing wrong with that — but we arrived way before the next FIVE tables. She didn’t even make eye contact, nor ask out loud who was first. Just went ahead and took four orders ahead of us. Since our only choice was to holler «Hey, we were first» … or leave, we left. And had a lovely lunch at Longboards on their deck.

Thursday night for happy hour, two drinks, one appetizer, no utensils, no water, no chips and service. The quesadilla was nasty, drinks watered down, but the service HORRIBLE!!! All of them standing around like clowns waiting for the circus to come to town. Had to find a bartender to locate the $ 30 bill for slop and no service. Wouldn’t even consider coming back, even for free!

We went Friday night at 7:30 with a party of 9. Fully aware we might be split up and willing to wait for table (s) we were cool with that. However, the attitude of the waitress was HORRIBLE! There wasn’t any way we were getting seated that night. 3 – 4 open tables inside but the answer was «not tonight». So their loss. They lose on the bar & food. Crazy. I really liked the place before Friday but will go elsewhere from here on out. NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Might turn into a 5! Teriffic margies! Calamari appetizer and the pork tacos… yum! Jack’s mushrooms swiss burger with yummy, melt in your mouth bun… double yum.!!

Stoped by there on a motorcycle ride was told there was too many Harley and they wouldn’t serve us.

Love the Coyote Bar and Grill… food is getting a little pricey, but I guess the tourist don’t mind. They are always so friendly…‘specially «Kim»…love her !!

Good food but I’d have to agree with most people, the service is noticeably slow. I don’t mind but most people do.

Had some awesome Hush puppy shrimp with some sweet potato fries with some ice cold ice tea.

Good bloody mary and margarita. Yummy ribs and brisket sandwich. Friendly service.

It’s the best option in Downtown Graeagle. It never blows your socks off, but it always satisfies. Amazing chips, bean dip, and salsa. A whole wall of hot sauce to choose from. Enchiladas are good, pork bbq ribs are tasty, and the mahi salad are all solid choices. Take them up on the complimentary desert desert, it’s tasty.
I would give this 4 stars but the waitresses always seem like they are having a bad day and never have the time for anyone which is unfortunate. A smile here and there and taking a minute to talk to your guests would go a long way.

The food was pretty good but one of the waitresses was rude and disrespectful. Walked in without a reservation and got kicked out within 50 minutes because they needed our table. The waitress came up to us and said that the people with a reservations are coming in and they need to get tables ready, asked for us to leave and just left us. Didn’t apologize or ask if we could move somewhere else. I guess our money was good enough to take and then threw us out the door. I had to make a Unilocal account just to let people know about how rude this was. The waitress wasn’t even ours and walked away. Will not ever go back! Sad what one experience can do :-(

Got the Mexican food fix at Coyote Bar and Grill. Mr. M had the soft tacos (large) and I had the street tacos (small). Both of us were completely satisfied with our choices.
Great selection of tequila and wine too. Nice service. Comfortable patio.
