Awesome!!! My first round was on a Friday late afternoon. I play the round in 3 hours. The staff was very helpful. The course was in great shape. I played the next morning as well. More folks on the course so a little slower. But it give me some time to look at the great views.

This is simply the best course you might play. It’s open to the public from May-October and it is beautiful. It’s built in a pine forest with forest land lining nearly every hole. Despite the trees the course is fairly wide and there is room for error. Unless you’re really wild or really short off the tee you should be able to score well. It’s pretty expensive but less than some of the other nearby courses in Truckee or Tahoe. The summer twilight rate is a pretty good deal as long as you plan your tee time so you can finish before dark.

Note that the location on Unilocal is a little off regarding the course. This is one of the nicer courses I have played(vs all bay area public courses). I was first out at 8am, walked the course and played in less then 3 hours. The greens were amazing, fast and perfect. The course was in amazing shape. The staff was very accommodating and nice. At $ 125 to play, including cart, range balls and the round I felt it was expensive but worth it. They have pro v1’s on the range so make sure to take a few warm up shots. The layout of the course is nice, hole 9 stuck out as one of my favorites, a drivable par 4 with a creak down the middle. All and all worth a drive if you are staying in Truckee or Reno and by the looks of it the best course in the area.
