I’ve had my last 2 tattoos done here and I couldn’t be happier! Suzi is amazing! Not only is she a fantastic artist, but she’s good and what she does. Suzi makes you feel at ease and treats you like you’re family. She’s super friendly, funny and makes the experience that much better. The others at the shop are pretty awesome too. Even though my canvas is devoted to her, I wouldn’t mind having one of the others there do work on me if for some reason Suzi is or was not available. I can’t wait for Suzi to finish my thigh that she started in January and for her or one of her shop mates TOFIXMYFOOT!!! It’s hell being poor But seriously though, forget what you hear or heard because that’s all bad and it’s from years ago… Go here and get tattooed!!! Now… GO!!!

Suzi is a great artist and I will be returning. The shop is pristine and she is already working on my next piece.

My tattoo is horrid! The lines suck, the work is un-even. And they could tattoo a simple hook to match the other side without making it this huge ordeal.

Jersey Devil was the first tattoo parlor I was ever in. I got my first seven tattoos there. That’s ten tattoos, three different artists. Apparently they go through artists pretty quickly. My first artist was a woman named Teresa. She was very good and I liked her work. Since they were my first couple tattoos, I really didn’t get anything large or too complicated, which I regret a bit because she was so good. But I should have recognized there was something wrong with the place when I showed up to talk to her about a larger, more intricate piece and she was gone and they didn’t even have an artist to replace her. A few months later I returned to speak with the new artist. I let him do my foot tattoo which turned out very well… but it was simple and one solid color. After that I let him do my upper arms, one of which I have already covered up. The remaining piece is a mess. He dug too deep and every line feather out to the point that no one has any idea what it is, except me and a few friends. Also he took a smoke break every thirty minutes. I waited until he was fired before I went back to talk to the next artist. The last artist, Gemma, I went to I loved. He was courteous and experienced and HATED it there. I was amazed that I had come across him in that parlor. He was great. He did three large pieces(about twenty hours) on me, each session I learned something more disturbing about the parlor, like how he had just saved a pitbull puppy because the owner had hung it by its collar from the fence out back. That was the worst. As soon as he finished my rib piece he moved out of state to open his own parlor. And I haven’t set foot in the parlor since. I’m glad I got some experience. The place was clean and up to code. But it isn’t worth dealing with the artist leaving just as you get to know their style.

6 of my 9 tattoos are from Jersey Devil. If I hadn’t moved away all my tattoos would have been from there. In my opinion, they are the best in the area.
