This is our favorite Mexican restaurant! We’re originally from Southern California, so we grew up on really good, authentic Mexican food. Tijuana’s is the closest we’ve found to that. The servers tend to be quiet, but they are fast and efficient. The owner, Francisco, is very friendly. We have several favorite dishes, but we tend to go with fish tacos, shrimp enchiladas, Francisco’s tacos, fajitas, or the Mucho Burrito most often. There actually hasn’t been a dish we didn’t like.

When I saw this restaurant in Unilocal I almost didn’t eat here because the rating was about 3−½ stars. But then a friend suggested it so I went anyway with moderate expectations. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Four of us ate and each was so pleased we shared bites. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Their ceviche is the best I’ve tasted in the Tulsa area and they have a dish called Guiso Tapatio unlike anything I’ve had. It’s something like jerks or strips of steak cooked in a mild chili sauce. So good! So many Mexican restaurants taste virtually the same. This one stands out. It is my new favorite.

Not a fan, bland and not quite what I expected. One of those places where it wasn’t bad but if you are going out I’d rather just go elsewhere… service was okay but again nothing to say anything more about.

Well idk what happened to this place. My food was delicious, however my wife’s food sucked. The service sucked. I’ve been waiting 15min after I’ve finished eating for my check and to leave. The service here has gone down hill. Use to be the ONLY place I’d eat Mexican.

In my opinion Tijuanas is the best Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma. The reason is because of their signature entrees. The spicy guajillo tacos, the Guadalajara grill, the guiso tapatio I could go on and on with the choices. Family owned and operated. Can’t beat the prices affordable and worth it. If you want original dishes something different then enchiladas and burritos from the same lame Mexican menus around town Tijuanas is the answer.

The best chilaquiles in Tulsa. Service is friendly and quick. The owner makes sure you are happy and satisfied with your food. Even if there is something that’s is not in the menu, they can cook it for you.

Absolutely love this place! Each time we have come, we always get great service (super fast!) and excellent food. I really like their Spicy Chicken Tacos and the burritos are always so good! Be sure to ask for their «hotter» salsa, it really is hot but has such a great flavor. Also, their Apple Sopapillas with ice cream is soooo good!

If there was an option for NO stars, this place would be more than deserving.
Placed our order, was brought to us incorrect. We told her it was incorrect she said ok and walked away. Did not come back. Charged us for the incorrect order.
We ordered Carne Asada tacos… got a leather boot on a cast iron skillet. I believe there are still laces in our teeth. Everything is bland as can be. Service is obviously lacking.
Will not be back. To the people who say this is the best or GREAT mexican food… try Arizonas, Chuys… or even a food truck downtown… you have to be kidding me!

We came for lunch, and as SOON as we sat down, we had chips and salsa in front of us… Yum! Really tasty and crispy chips, and delicious mild salsa. Others reviewers have said the queso was bland, but we liked it a lot… It was real cheese! The service was great and we got our food quickly. My husband got the $ 7.49 All-​You-​Can-​Eat Lunch and he loves everything. The rice was awesome! Very flavorful! I got the Tijuana’s Quesadilla — so delicious! The chicken was flavorful and there was a great mix of veggies and TONS of cheese! We had a great experience.

There’s a major language barrier when ordering, which doesn’t bother me, just make sure they actually understand what you’re saying when they take your order. The salsa isn’t always the same– sometimes it tastes more like pasta sauce then salsa, other times it’s not bad. The queso is the same as any other white queso I’ve ever had– bland and boring. However, I did enjoy the tortilla soup. I asked to make it spicy and they made it super spicy, which I loved. Although there was only chicken, avocado, jack cheese and tortilla strips in the soup, I asked for chopped onions, cilantro and limes. Once I added all those it was quite yummy. The carnitas street tacos are pretty good– nothing special though. The ranchero beans are good. Rice and refried beans are gross, but that’s how they are everywhere so that’s no surprise.

Extremely unsatisfied.
My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out, we’ve both eaten there before on separate occasions awhile back and thought it was good enough to try again I guess.
We got there around 6:30 on a Tuesday, was not busy at all. Took our drink orders, I asked for a Pepsi (which is on their menu) but was told they don’t carry it… Ok?
Ordered a small bowl of white queso, which was very bland. After ordering the carnitas, I asked if there was cilantro on anything and she said «yes», I told her I didn’t want any cilantro, she said «so no pico?», I said yes if it was on the side and she rolled her eyes and walked off.
The pork was ok, a little fatty, so I had to pick through it, would have been better with fresh lime, however, I was given 2 dry slices…
Marking this one off the list.

We have ate here several times! It was a great find. The salsa & chips are fresh and so good! Seriously I could fill up just on these.
We have had the chicken and steak fajita’s, with flour and corn tortilla’s. These both are outstanding. They give you PLENTY of meat. I just wish they gave a little more peppers. We honestly have not had a bad meal yet. Wait time it nothing. Carry out is 10 minutes. Lime Margarita while we waited for our take out order was yummy!
Only things we did not enjoy was the rice, very dry and the beans, well we pass on them. They aren’t very good. However, the meals are so amazing that you don’t need the rice or beans!!!
Parking is easy and even when they are busy there are always close spots! I would say, give them a shot!!! Great food, nice staff!

Great authentic Mexican food! Owner, Francisco, is super nice, and has a heart of gold. Love the food and margaritas. When our office was in Bixby, we would take our small team to eat here on Friday nights. Now, I’ll take the kids when I’m on the way home from something at the school once in awhile.

Loved this place. I have driven by this place a few times and finally decided to try it out. A colleague and I decided to go for lunch. The lunch menu has some of your normal «every Mexican restaurant» items… but more than half the lunch menu was truly original and authentic items… I wish I could remember some of the names of the dishes.
I had the Tijuana’s quesadilla… loaded with chicken, bacon, onions, cheese, tomato, and peppers. My lunch came with a guacamole/​ranch in house concoction that was ok, but the entrée was awesome. My friend had the cheese enchiladas which he said were great as well.
The décor and atmosphere was Nice and comfortable. I would suggest this restaurant to anybody out in Bixby.

Wife and I on a Friday night… Really and truly a hidden GEM for Bixby… Great Mexican food, and amazingly fast service…
Get the Hot Sauce… its spectacular… Additionally was their white Queso… goood…
I had the Carne ASADA, and it was absoultely one of the best ones I have had in a looooong time! Delicious, tender, great flavor, a great cut of steak prepared well.
Will be back, we always love mexican food, and have been searching for a place to have our weekly MEXICANO DOMINGO!
