Cash Wise Foods

Probably one of the worst places you can grocery shop in Bismarck.
The parking lot is a nightmare and people definitely do not care how they park or look before they back out. I have witnessed people backing up and hitting other cars or just creating parking spots because they are to lazy to walk.
Inside the store you will find the most out dated sales floor you have ever seen. They make you clip the coupons for the sales, God forbid you actually get with the time and creat a loyalty card.
They do have a pretty good produce area I will give them that, I have never been unhappy with anything I have bought. Pretty good natural food selection. Never dared to buy anything out of the meat department as its so expensive and have a butcher shop for way less. The deli section has got to be the biggest joke of the store. I would never dare to eat anything that comes from that case. Take a little bit of pride in the way the food is presented, I almost feel embarrassed for them they would serve such garbage.
I try to avoid this place if I can because customer service is non existent and it’s just dingy and dirty.

I love the grocery delivery service, the quality of produce, and the more affordable pricing of this grocery chain. However– there is a complete and utter lack of customer service at the Bismarck, ND location that is so disappointing. I prefer Cash Wise to any other grocer in my area. I just wish it wasn’t a miserable experience to go there.

This place was just so/​so. Kind of dingy and dirty feeling inside, and the employees weren’t very friendly. The selection was average, nothing exceptional. They were out of chicken breasts when I went, which was annoying. They only had the super expensive organic chicken left. Totally disappointing.
Also, one the woman that checked me out was grumbling about the customer that had checked out before me, which I thought was unprofessional.
I’ll have to come back and reevaluate if I make it back to this place. The prices didn’t seem to be that great either, but it seems food in ND is more expensive in general.

Seriously impressed with this place. I may be giving it 5 stars because it’s awesome selection completely caught me off guard! Lots of natural foods– organic, gluten free, uncured meats, grass-​fed beef and dairy… every aisle had something to offer. I recently moved from Los Angeles and I eat Paleo so I totally expected to have trouble finding appropriate groceries. So happy I wandered into Cash Wise because from the outside, I expected it to resemble Smart and Final and I was totally wrong!

I love this grocery store! They have a health food section with lots of great vegan stuff. Daiya cheese. Tempeh. Kombucha. Nooch. Tofurky.
Their produce section doesn’t thrill me, but that’s okay. I try to stick to farmer’s markets anyway.
