It’s great that there’s a place like this up in Bishop Creek Canyon. After photographing the fall colors in the early morning, this is the perfect place for a hot breakfast. Menu is limited but everything tastes great. Bacon and potatoes are especially good and generous servings sizes, too. Coffee is just mediocre and prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected for such a remote location. Free wifi so you can get your internet fix while out of cell range.

If it were not for those awesome fries covered in melted cheese and real bacon, at $ 9.50 per basket, I would have given it a 2. Hamburger patty was just not special enough to warrant $ 7.50 and was only about 1⁄8 inch thick. Tasted like a freezer. Sauce was great! Just very unimpressed and disappointed. I guess the drive up 18 miles and 4000 feet some how made the experience worth it.

Great little family run place attached to the cardinal village resort. The menu is limited, but what they offer is really great! Home cooked BBQ ribs, tori tip, chicken, etc. The owners work the kitchen and the waitress doubles as the guide for the horse rides. A really terrific place!
