Excellent, excellent, excellent! Took my daughter up to Hungry Packer lake just last week — Excellent service, very professional, and one of the packers even went back to look for my camera that fell off my horse (unbeknownst to me) and found it! Very smooth operation — No problems. I’ve taken a number of packers throughout the Sierras, throughout the years, some good, some not so good. These guys are the tops! Looking forward to next year!

Where to start? Well first of all, my family has been using Mike and Bisop Pack Outfitters for many years. Mike is responsible for countless family memories. I promise you will not find a kinder person on the planet. I just got back from a half day mule ride up the Paiute pass. It was all I could have asked for and more. We rode mules and the two guides (Mackenzie and George) rode horses. The ride was a great pace to see the beautiful wild flowers blooming, the stream cruising by and the wind whisping the trees. I really don’t think there is a better attraction than riding mules or horses through the high country. Call ahead of your trip and make reservations, it’s worth it.
I can only praise Bishop Pack Outfitters, and really hope to take another ride soon.
