Venetian Nail Spa

My favorite nail place!!! I have been going here for years. Mai does an amazing job on my nails and brows. Everyone is so nice, and it’s VERY clean. I just love it!

On the plus side, they are very clean looking and offer you bottles of water. Everything else is super «meh». I got a mani pedi. My sister got a pedi and gel mani. Their gel manis were $ 40 here. FORTY DOLLARS! I am visiting from san diego and when they told me the price for her nails I about died.
Anyhow, regarding service, it was overall just «meh». Seems like the type of service I would usually get at the $ 19 pedicure place. My feet still have calouses and the picture I posted shows my cuticles which I can already tell half of which will run and the other half look like she skipped them.
Unless you’re coming here for the convenience of already being at The Summit, I’d suggest going somewhere cheaper and better.

Visited a friend in BHM for the weekend. I was shocked to get the bill for my simple, no fuss, no frills manicure. $ 17.00 for a 10 minute manicure. And to boot, the polish looks bad after only 3 days.

Horrible salon! The environment is very stressful. My gel nail polish has already come off on two of my nails and I went 3 days ago.

I really enjoyed my experience with nail salon everyone was really nice and professional there was little to no wait on a very busy Saturday. They are extremely clean and sanitized. I appreciated the complimentary bottle water that they give out and the fact that they use a plastic cover on the pedicure bowls. Prices are reasonable and they offer several nice pedicure options. I would certainly recommend this place to a friend!

The service here is usually excellent bit today I had a manicurist named Andy and he was awful. He was rude and when I told the manager he did not care. If you are serviced by anyone besides Andy you will enjoy it!

Terrible service! The girl who did my manicure and pedicure was on the phone the entire time. She was not careful and cut my finger. It was bleeding. I showed it to the receptionist and she said just said it looks ok! Also I left my sunglasses at the pedicure chair because I had to bring all my stuff to the manicure chair (shopping bags, purse, etc.) with no help. Before I left I realized my glasses were not there. No one could find them so I assume one of the workers kept them. Also I called the manager and he never returned any phone calls. Do NOT waste your money!

Went here with three girlfriends for a spa outing for my pregnant sister in law and had the best pedicure I have ever had. Vin was incredible. I usually don’t like men doing my nails, but he was exceptional! This will be my regular spot and I will always ask for Vin!

I was a walk in for a manicure and pedicure. I was seated right away and had someone doing my pedicure while another person worked on my manicure, which can sometimes be a little awkward and uncomfortable with the positioning on of your arms, but I didn’t mind it. It was clear that they wanted and needed to be as quick and efficient as possible because they had a full house. Even with the technicians being fast, they were extremely thorough. Honestly, I got an amazing mani and pedi in almost under and hour.

Love this place — best of all the places I have tried in the area. Service is great with or without an appointment. Location is convenient and parking usually easy except on a Saturday when it gets busy in the area.

Great location and even better service. Even though they were very busy when I visited on a Saturday evening, I didn’t have to wait long at all. I got a pedicure from Chi. She is wonderful! Very friendly and thorough. She used oil to massage my legs and did a fantastic job on my toe nails. This salon was very clean and nicely decorated. All the staff seemed to be very helpful. Will definitely use this salon again.

This place made up for my last horrendous experience, at a nail salon in Homewood. Chi was my technician, and she was fantastic, thorough, and attentive. Great job. I’m happy my hunt for an excellent nail salon is over. Only «minus» is that at the Venetian in another city, they would offer me a glass of wine, or other beverage. Here, I was just brought water, whether I wanted it or not, lol. Just something minor, though, considering I loved my results.

Came back again to get a gel manicure. Whitney did an excellent job! She was quick but thorough. I was very impressed with the selection of gel polish Venetian has. Several well known brands– the original Shellac by CND, OPI, Gelish and more. Still on the pricey side but I think you get what you pay for :)

I wasn’t impressed. The guy who did my nails drilled the acrylic way too thin and right away I had chips before they completely dried. One nail broke right away and now I have three short nails. I just got them done 2 weeks ago. For a $ 25 fill, (one new tip was applied) I was expecting a lot more and there was no nail dryer besides a tiny fan. The guy just disappeared when he was finished. Awful.

My eyebrows looked sort of out of control, so I stopped in Venetian while on a shopping excursion in The Summit. I was really pleased; it’s a very nice nail spa! They couldn’t fit me in right away, so I shopped for another 10 minutes while I waited.
The wax job was awesome! She did exactly what I asked (clean them up, but don’t take any extra off) for about one third of the price I usually pay for a high quality job in Houston. If you live close to The Summit, be thankful that you can get a great eyebrow wax for under $ 15. I’ll definitely be back when I am in town, hopefully for a mani-​pedi, too.
I did notice that my stray brows started growing back in less than a week, although it usually takes them 2 – 3 weeks to start showing. I’m not sure if this was due to the wax used, the waxist, or what…

I came here for a bridal party. We had champagne, pedis and manis.

Im from California, the grl next to me was born and raiesd in Alabama and said that this was the best place in the area!
