Love this place. Probably my favorite burger in town and a friendly and helpful staff. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.

It’s the bomb! You gotta stop in and have locally sourced ingredients whipped up by the most loving family in Birmingham, the Tracy’s. A meat and three that uses local farmers, rather than Sysco. It’s a Birmingham great and can’t wait to go in again. The squash casserole, collards, stewed apples, anything they make and you cannot go wrong. The best part is the team of people making the food and the love they put into every bite. Almost everyday I am in there I see at least three of the Tracy’s in there working. It’s great to finally have a place to go to that incorporates family and their love for food. Keep on keeping on and may the great food continue. P. S. Their burgers are awesome too!

This is a cute little café tucked away in Crestline! Tracy’s has great options for meats and veggies. From what I gather they get most to all their veggies from local farmers. They have local beers, wines, and teas too!(Wednesday wine pours are $ 3) I had the Greek baked chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken had A LOT of flavor and the mash potatoes where so creamy and tasty I wanted to lick the plate. It felt like I was back at home in my moms kitchen. This place does comfort food really well! The price is up there. But that is expected for anything in Mountain Brook. They sell everything separately so you could make it out of there spending more then you thought. This would be a great place for a lunch dAte with your girlfriend or a quite night on the town for a date!

Nice, reliable meat-and-three in the heart of Crestline. The prices are a little high, but not too much. Plus you get the added bonus of a floor show: Watching the tennis skirt crowd try to navigate ginormous SUVs into tiny parking spaces on the street outside.

Tracy’s is the Crestline«meat and three» that keeps crowds coming back for more. I was surprised at the turnout on a Tuesday night. There were a lot of families and couples who popped in for their dinner. My husband ordered the grilled fish with cauliflower, squash casserole, and fried zucchini. The fish was a a nice size and very flavorful. I ordered the cheese burger with fries. It didn’t come with ketchup or mustard on it, but they did offer ketchup packets. I didn’t end up putting condiments on the burger, but I think that would have made it better. It was a hearty serving of meat and plenty of cheese. The fries were ok, but too salty for me to come back. We used a $ 10 off coupon so our meal was $ 14 instead of $ 24. At the end of our meal, we both agreed that we wouldn’t return for the regular price. If we lived in the area, I could see why it would be an option for a more typical American dinner.

Good fresh vegetables. It’s pricey for a meat and three, but the quality is good. Get the baked greek chicken. It’s delicious! I always go for either mashed potatoes or macaroni and cheese. It’s a sad day when those aren’t on the menu. The green beans are also usually good(although sometimes the strings aren’t properly removed), and the greens are good too. My husband loves the squash casserole. Polite staff, plenty of seating, and very clean.

Tracy’s is a cafeteria commonly referred to as a «meat and three.» I rate it against those others in this category I have tried. There have been many including Niki’s West, Morrisons, Luby’s, Suburban Grill, Wyatt’s, Dale’s, Magnolia Café, Piccadilly Cafeteria, Romana Cafeteria and others. The point is, I am no stranger to cafeterias. I had the hamburger steak, squash casserole, mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll. Hamburger steak had an excellent taste and a good onion gravy. The vegetables were fresh tasting and seemed to be prepared in house. They had a wonderful taste, but the casserole and potatoes were watery. Nothing was oversalted which to me is a plus. Green beans were freshly prepared and good, but had not been pared properly and were so stringy I would not get them again. Although good, they were just too difficult to eat. I kept gagging on strings and hard bits. My wife had, among other vegetables, corn which tasted to be from fresh local produce, but, of course, of necessity this time of year, tasted as if it had been frozen. This is a small restaurant with wonderful clientele and friendly staff. It affords an enjoyable dining experience. There is nothing fancy here. It is very basic, but it is really good. Overall, I would say that the quality of food is the best I have had at any cafeteria. None of the above named cafeterias can compete on freshness, in my opinion. The taste of real homemade food comes through in the food at Tracy’s. I will certainly go back.

Tasty and fresh food! I have had anything I didn’t like. Some of my favorite dishes at Tracy’s are the fried fish, hamburger steak, squash casserole, and cornbread. They now serve beer, wine, and liquor, but I haven’t tried that yet.

Real food. Stopped real quick for a Greek Salad with chicken to go. There was tons of tasty grilled chicken and all veggies were incredibly fresh. While I was waiting, one of the employees was cleaning a large bucket of green beans. I don’t think you’re getting anything out of a can in this place. Reasonably priced, super friendly and as fresh as you can get. I’m excited to try some other menu items. Seems like they put a lot of effort into their product and care about their ingredients.
