I just took in a little knitting project that was lost in my closet and wanted to resurrect it for an upcoming trip. Margaret was so kind to help with yarn selection(exquisite!), needles and took the time to help cast on and get me ready to go on my own. Warm and welcoming environment, truly passionate about what they are doing and looking to help knitters of all proficiency levels. Buy local and go visit the lovely ladies at the Knitting Room!

Stopped in here yesterday on a break from work. They have a lot of nice yarn and a decentish clearance section in the back, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The woman at the counter came across as very brusque and also didn’t know what aran yarn was, despite it being onr of the more common yarn weights. The other employee in the store only had a slightly better idea! I’ll probably stop in from time to time to see what new yarns are on offer but I can’t say I’d make it a regular stop.

Were it not for a gift certificate I recently received I would not have visited The Knitting Room. Three employees working and only one willing to help on the floor while the others stayed in the back room chatting. Service was unhelpful and pretentious. Prices are high end(but, of course, so is the wool.) There are, fortunately, plenty of other places to buy high quality knitting supplies within a 5 mile radius, so I’ll use up my gift card and move on.

I absolutely love the Knitting Room! They offer a variety of classes for all levels of knitters and the teachers are fabulous! The store always has the highest quality of products and an extremely knowledgable and friendly staff.

It makes me sad to write a bad review of this busy, colorful knit shop. Although I’m not their«best» customer, i’ve spent hundreds of dollars buying yarn and about 50% of the time can’t get waited on. Walked in tonight — the place was completely full of knitters in classes — and not a soul acknowledged me or offered to wait on me. I had to ask for someone to ring up my purchase — which would have been much larger had someone thought to say hello
