We stopped in for a quick drink as Dillinger’s was right across from our hotel. A long and narrow Irish pub that must get packed on weekends. My clue was the sheer size of the bathrooms downstairs that my husband compared to stadium sized. Interesting cast of characters, from a guy with sunglasses dancing in the middle of the place by himself, taking selfies with his rear facing phone camera, to a group of girls with brightly colored hair, dropping glasses on the floor. Good selection of music– mostly dance pop and 90s rap. Not much else to say as we only popped in for one beer. As we left, the streets were being taken over by college kids, and this signaled to us it was time to head back to the hotel and get some shut eye.

This place is an absolute disgrace to have in the place that I call home. I’ve seen African Americans get turned away for their«dress code» and then see a Caucasian male get let in with gym shorts and a backwards hat. I don’t party much anymore so Its funny what things you notice while sober. I ran into my 18 year old neighbor here last weekend and she was clearly over served and for her being underage, that is extremely embarrassing for Dils. I can’t believe the cops sit outside and watch these young kids go into this bar every weekend. This really shows that our police force also needs some reform, but I won’t go into that. On top of that, I’ve also seen the bouncers physically abuse multiple inebriated male patrons instead of just escorting them to the door. About a year ago, I saw a bouncer record a male and female making out on his phone(while working) and then say something along the lines of «if you don’t want your girlfriend to see this, pay me ten bucks.» this bar is by far the most unprofessional business in the southern tier and I finally had to get this off my chest. DONOT support this business if you have any moral compass. I will personally never step foot in this bar again.

Food was decent, overpriced however and the service was subpar at best. However I did see someone complain about not getting free water, this wasn’t anything major as the guy was just being cheap but the barkeep had quite the attitude in this certain situation. Was very interesting to watch? Oh and it was surprisingly clean for a bar!

This place is racist stay away. Unless you want to get locked up, the police is camp right outside the building. We are in 2016 who has time for this, being racist…

This place turns away black college students from the nearby Binghamton University. They actually say«you are not welcome here», if you can believe it. It happens time & time again. I know myself & my family will never set foot in this place again. I suggest you don’t either.

This place has potential but needs drastic change starting with staff. It’s basically a college bar on the weekends and from the second you get carded at the door you’re met by usually the least friendly guy who’s on a power trip bossing around young adults. I have witnessed people being physically pushed by them for absolutely no reason and my friend was denied entry because she was on crutches when all we wanted to do was sit, rest, and have a drink. I understand a college bar isn’t the scene for everyone but don’t work there bitterly; find another job. Food and drinks aren’t made well and overpriced. And priced differently at different bars throughout the place. Definitely boycotting this place for being the most discriminating and rude environment I’ve ever stepped foot in.

This place was really disappointing as it seems to have great potential. The food was pretty poor(burger undercooked and then overcooked) and bland. The beer selection is pretty good but not what I expected. Maybe if I had visited when the whole town wasn’t at the baseball game, the experience would have been better.

After watching videos of blatant racism and rudeness/escalation from the doormen, I took a break from this«classy» establishment. I tried again last night for a friend’s birthday and the regret is real. Went in with a lady friend who is Korean and they had issues that she had a backpack(traveling from out of town). We had already been in there and I tried to express this. Then the guy got in my face and proceeded to ask my lady friend«do you understand eng-rish». I got indignant on her behalf so they sent several tough guy bouncers to deal with me. Big tough Men who call names and claim they were threatened. A simple google search of the establishment yields results with racist videos where door men assault potential patrons with racial epithets. DONTSPENDYOURMONEYINTHISPLACE — mediocre bar with jail bait underage patrons abounding. They have these blatantly racist«rules» that include no baseball caps and no wave caps/du rags. Honestly? This place is a joke. Also, the cops hang right outside to back up the tough guy doormen — so you basically risk arrest of you have a spine and talk back to these small minded cowards.

Great place to go for some drinks, and with its huge front bar and other bars in the next room and upstairs it doesn’t take long to get a drink no mater how busy it is. Great and friendly staff and this bar always seems to draw a better crowd

I’ve probably never said this about a bar or pub but Dillingers is beautiful. Dark woodwork and bar, tin ceilings, wood floors. Just so pretty. It’s also HUGE. There are two bars downstairs and one upstairs. There is also one outside and a huge patio area that wraps around the building when it’s warm enough to be outside. There are large tables in the newer side of the bar where you can eat or grab a drink with a big group. It’s walking distance to the Broome County arena so it’s an ideal location to have food or beverages before or after the game. It’s undoubtedly the nicest bar in downtown Binghamton so do yourself a favor and go!

Probably the worst burger that I’ve ever had going out to eat. I mean, I know that the irish aren’t quite known for their cuisine, but the pickled onions ruined what could’ve been a great meal. I’ve had that sour taste lingering on my palate for nearly an hour after I left in discontent. Pint of Blue Moon was supposedly $ 2.50 on Wednesdays but came up on the bill as $ 3.00 a pop. A little dishonest but can be overlooked. Not as bad as that god awful burger.

I asked for a water with my strong drink. Bartender put a bottle of Poland spring I front of me, said«$ 3». I pushed it back saying«A glass of water, this is a bar. That should be free.» She said«You need to change your attitude, we only sell water.» Irresponsible. Arrogant. Borderline criminal.

Last night was a perfect evening to be on the Patio at Dillengers! I was with four friends trying out their new menu! The menu has several gluten free options as well as delicious baked chicken wings! Not your typical greasy bar fare. Eric(the server) took excellent care of us. I recommend his Cosmopolitans! ! Dillengers has two levels. The Main Floor has the Patio, a smaller more intimate dining area, and the main bar with a DJ. While upstairs has a Nightclub!!! It’s refreshing to have a clean, well run establishment in the area. Try the new menu! You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely disgusting. Food is on barely edible and drinks are nothing special. Floors are filthy and the it is usually filled with trashy, tasteless students. The absolute worst part about this place is their«dress code» which they use as a cover for their blatantly racist door policy. I’ve witnessed people get turned away for the color of their skin, no joke. If I could give 0 stars I would. SKIPTHISRACISTESTABLISHMENT

Everytime I’m in the Binghamton area, my girlfriend and I always end up at Dillingers. It’s a typical college bar scene with pretty good drink specials and a lot of open space for plenty of people. This place does get packed on Friday and Saturday nights. The downstairs portion of Dillingers is nice for getting drinks at the bar and the upstairs is more of a night club. They have a DJ going with strobe lights and dancing. It’s a lot of fun. Overall, Dillingers is a fun spot to head to on the weekends. I would recommend it.

Typical college bar with an atypical bartender. Walking into this packed bar after a wedding reception(right next door) was an interesting time. Things were pretty good as our bartender had been our bartender at the hotel bar the previous evening. When you’re from out of town, seeing a slightly familiar face makes a difference. They have no draft beer which is a big minus in my book. Their bottle selection was not fantastic but I was able to drink Hoegaarden and Smithwick’s for the evening. No one really got in our way or bothered us which was nice. Anyhoo she kept our drinks full and the service was prompt and attentive. The prices here are pretty low and every 3 minutes the DJ kept reminding the crowd about $ 2 shots. Ahh college bars…
