Once again had a great meal everything we wanted was perfect and I got to meet the chef tonight… awesome guy. Recommend to anyone

I will be kind and say I guess the pizza «chef» was either sick or lazy or stoned when plopping a glob of sauce and miniscule amount of whatever constituted the cheese and basil on the soggy bottom item I paid way too much for!!! I’ve read rave reviews (maybe from the barflys who get a free drink or two) about this place. I guess the other glowing reports are from the staff. Inconsistency is definitely a strong possibility with the quality of takeout they box up at this joint. Give their pizza a try by all means! Be forewarned, however, to pay through the nose for something unpleasing to the palate.

Our reservations were kept so that was a good thing. Server was right with us. Menu looked ok but it didn’t include their assortment of pizzas.
I went with wife, daughter and 2 other students from Binghamton. So they were excited for restaurant quality food. Unfortunately we all got school quality food!
My Lasagna was billed as freshly made but from first bite I knew it was frozen. The small piece of garlic bread was good. My daughter ordered the ribeye. It was late as server claimed the cook burned it. After a long wait she received an extremely fatty piece of meat. Now I know ribeye has a lot of fat but not like this! Normally I would have sent it back but I knew my daughter wouldn’t want me to. So she cut around the vanes of fat and pretended to enjoy it.
Wife had eggplant and I could tell from the lack of food she ate she didn’t enjoy her dish at all either.
It’s a shame as most of the reviews we read were favorable. I guess this was acceptable Italian for Binghamton area, just not for this New Yorker!
If you are looking for good Italian consider another establishment!

This place was excellent the food was great and the service was good too, we ordered pepperoni pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, pasta, garlic bread and seven layer chocolate cake. The pizza had a thin crust a couple different cheeses on it and was great. Good selection of draft and bottled beers and they have their own parking lot right across the street. You will not leave hungry!

I’ve eaten at Amici several times. I usually go for the sandwiches, but have also had their pizza and entrees. The food is flavorful and well-​portioned. I love that salad is one of the sandwich side choices without being an upcharge, like most other local places. Why one star? The service is beyond bad.
I went for lunch with a group of about 8 people. There were only two other people in the restaurant when we came in and ordered. We asked about separate checks, and our server cheerfully told us «No problem». We ordered. We waited. And waited. And waited. We finally requested that our food be boxed since we all had to get back to work. Thirty minutes later, our boxed lunches (just sandwiches and a salad or two) showed up. We waited some more, watching as the server screwed around at the register and served the other table. We asked for our checks, and the waiter snapped that it took time to separate them all out. (I thought it was «no problem»?).
Ten minutes later, we got our checks. To add insult to injury, the reason they took so long to produce was that the server was adding in, by hand, a 20% gratuity since we were a large party. A 20% gratuity for what was essentially a «to-​go» order that took close to an hour to get when the restaurant was basically empty. The waiter was downright smug after being rude to us and knowing he’d still get his tip. I don’t care how good the sandwiches are, there’s no excuse for treating customers badly.

I don’t frequent this restaurant as much as I should… I have never had a bad meal here… the pizza is good and the calamari is excellent!

One of the best places in the area. Great atmosphere and food. The cheesy garlic bread is one of the best things I’ve ever had. A low key gem

We stopped by on our way home from Cooperstown. We saw the specials online, and I had the Porterhouse special. The wife had pasta and we split an app and dessert. The steak was delicious. The shrimp were fresh and well prepared. The wife enjoyed her food and dessert.
They have a pretty good beer selection and a fairly extensive wine list.
Good times overall!

One of my favorite eateries in the area! I absolutely LOVE the Cajun mussels and get it every time I’ve been there! Portion sizes are big, so you’ll definitely have some to take back home. Affordable and tasty, I’m a big fan!

This place makes a great sandwich let me tell you and it’s decently priced. Definitely a place to stop for lunch. The service isn’t the best and when I went there was only 2 other people there but still would definitely go back.

I really like this place.
A modern dark wood bar with a clean industrial look. Some high tables near the bar and some low tables in the back… not a lot of seating. TV’s with sports above the bar. Its a bar/​restaurant that is simultaneously casual and yet a nice romantic dinner here would not be out of place either.
Very good food. Great steaks. The «S-​P-​O-​C» sausage sandwich is delicious. Universally well made and presented menu.
They have 12 beers on tap, most craft, but not quite as imaginative or frequently changing as they used to be when the place opened.
Its location kitty-​corner from the baseball stadium is convenient during a game day, but otherwise the neighborhood is a little forlorn. They have parking in a lot right across the side street.
Really nice to sit at the bar for lunch. I go there often.

Excellent pizza, great beer and wine choices, not the same stuff you see everywhere else… Fairly priced except the desserts. After a meal and drinks we split a piece of cheese cake and it was $ 7, that was almost 25% of the whole bill and it was tiny… Anyhow, the pizza ranks up there with the best in Broome county… Try the hard cider if it’s available…

Looks like a sports bar-​type place from the inside, they have a wonderful wine list and a very nice Italian menu. The antipasto dish was delicious with various salumi, olives, etc. The pizza with arugula and prosciutto was tasty, but a little on the salty side. I’d like to go back and try the pasta. Give it a try.
