Beignets are to die for, it’s best place outside of Louisiana to get real deal. We come every year during #CTC, but was able to stop during #STC to grab orders to go on way out. Latte’s use homemade sauces, if your into those kinda drinks.

Great find! The crab stack and the seafood flatbread were awesome. Wonderful brunch/lunch spot. Adorable décor.

I love this little place! Regarding speediness, it has transformed since I initially visited nearly two years ago. Which is impressive since most everything is made fresh. The menu is good(but limited) and has not changed in the time I’ve visited. I’d like a refreshing menu, popular dishes can be kept. I like that a dessert bar has been introduced, it fits! The bar pairs nicely with the espresso menu. Usually I find myself ordering an item for each course. The latest order of beignets and latte was inconsistent with my past experiences. It tasted different but not terrible. I’d like to know if the recipe changes in terms of ingredients. The entrees I recommend are the grits(which has a cabin twist), breakfast sandwich, and crab stacker(a salad dish). It’s all well portioned and lightly filling. The beignets are mostly perfection! I suggest pairing it the sweet crème latte. It’s an unregrettable, wonderful sugar rush! I’m a supporter of this hidden gem… It’s cozy, locally owned, pretty good customer service with available parking. In my opinion, it’s the best spot in town.

My sister and husband ordered the shrimp and grits my sister got hers after 15 minutes. My husband however waited for an hour and then the waitress told us that they were making some grits from«scratch» so it’d be a little longer. We waited 30 more minutes and got fed up and left.

The hours of operation on Unilocal said till 4pm. The signs on the door say till 4pm. The hand written sign on display says till 3pm, yet when we went all the way there and arrived at 2:40, we were refused service. I couldn’t say how the food was because they decided to close early. I and about 10 other patrons were sent away. Waste of time. But what really frustrated me is that the employees couldn’t think bigger than their chance to get out of work early. They turned away 10 good customers just so they didn’t have to stay longer. Lack of ambition, lack of leadership. I asked to speak to the owner, but the girl refused. Either she’s trying to hide her negligence or maybe the owner doesn’t want to know that their employees sent away paying customers in order to leave early. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt on food, but only 3 stars for the terrible customer service.

This is a fantastic little place within an easy walk from the casinos. Ate here on a Saturday morning. Prompt, attentive service from the owner. The food was out of this world. My wife started with a butter pecan café latte. The base used to concoct this delight is their own homemade mix. The coffee itself was extraordinarily smooth. All around fantastic. We ordered the beignets to start. They were very good. The killer item though was the spicy seafood flatbread. This was phenomenal. See my picture. Fresh ingredients and careful preparation make this a definite winner! Don’t hesitate, go to this place.

By chance pulled this place up on Unilocal, looked like the type of place the wife and I are into so we gave it a shot. Not disappointed! A couple of tables outside to enjoy the weather, but it was mid morning so we went inside. Really quaint décor, super cozy. Our hostess(who turned out to be the owner) was super friendly and guided us through the menu. We opted for the beignets and café au lait to start, both were delicious; piping hot and fresh, the coffee hot and strong. I had the crab stack and the wife had the breakfast sandwich. The bread on the sandwich had a great crust and was nice and soft, the stack was a perfect portion. Friendly helpful staff, we will definitely be back.

One of my best local brunch places down here on the coast! Love the décor and how homey it feels and the outside seating. This little gem is located in downtown Biloxi across from the Biloxi hospital. Everything was yummy and we really enjoyed this place. I had a Mimosa and French toast with berrries & pralines and a cup of gumbo. The shrimp in the gumbo was fresh I can tell. It wasn’t that watered down manufactured crap you get everywhere else. My boyfriend had the roast beef sandwich. He said it was really good. They use boars head meats. It’s a premium deli meat that I’ve had before and love. I saw that they had blues music on Sundays, we will have to come back for that! I just wish they opened a little later. YUM.

Small and charming describes this spot. Restaurant has lots of character. I’m glad we found this place. It definitely takes you back in time. The staff is nice and friendly. The food is excellent as well as the presentation.

The southern crab stack is amazing. Definitely worth stopping in to try it. It is nicely balanced with a bed of green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, remoulade sauce, layered with French bread, egg strata, Gouda, & topped with delicious crab meat. So very yummy! Update: stopped in again today and had the Veggie Egg Remy. It was amazing. I think I prefer the Southern Crab Stack, but the egg Remy was absolutely delicious. It was very well presented and the service was superb.

Me and my boyfriend came to get some coffee and beignets and were not disappointed at all. The service was excellent with the lady helping us pick out the flavored lattes based on her preference and they were delicious! The beignets were absolutely incredible; three beignets that were perfectly seasoned and not to sweet!

I was expecting more and that disappointed me. I had heard so much about this place and found the beignets doughy and tasteless. The cashier was extremely helpful and nice but she can’t make up for the product. I purchased a double order to go. I would suggest putting them in a paper bag so they don’t become soggy. They are made to order so that is a plus. I will try one more time just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. I did not take pics of the beignets but many pics of the shop.

Waiting for Godot This place is cute enough, but it took them nearly an hour to bring us our beignets so that is a fail. Your NAME is La Café Beignet. Also we were only the second customers of the morning. On Saturday morning. After waiting that long, we got most of our beignets, then we waited even more and finally got the rest of them. Depending on traffic, we might have gotten beignets faster by driving to Café du Monde in New Orleans. If you are hoping to get your water or coffee refilled, think again. Not going to happen. Food was adequate.

Very disappointing… Blazing hot coffee in a mason jar… with no handle how in the #%€£ are you supposed to drink it? Under cooked beignets. :( Ok sandwiches but everything was so slow I couldn’t wait to leave. Expensive.

This place is so cute! I enjoyed the mimosa, butter pecan latte, and crab stack. We weren’t a fan of the shrimp and grits, they were dry and had a glob of thousand island dressing, which was completely inappropriate for that dish. The crab stack shouldn’t have had the dressing either, it overpowers anything you put it on. We were disappointed in the beignets as they didn’t taste fresh, but their other sweets looked delicious. I’d give them another shot.

While visiting Biloxi last week, I found this hidden gem for breakfast. Located in a quaint area north of the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock hotels, I was welcomed with a smile as I walked into Le Café Beignet. Their breakfast egg sandwich was fantastic! Farm fresh eggs, succulent bacon, crisp greens, all sandwiched between fresh, flaky bread. I’ll definitely eat here again the next time I’m in Biloxi.

Worth a visit if you’re in the Biloxi area. Family run small breakfast and sandwich place. Nice atmosphere. Beignets were OK, a little heavy, but, better than not having any beignets!

Delicious and fresh brunch items. The seafood items are delicious, as are the vegetable accompaniments. I had the spicy seafood flat which was very good with a nice amount of horseradish. The«spicy» must be in reference to that. The beignets were freshly made to order, and a little more dense than traditionally. Still great, Just a matter of preference. The food is just a bit on the pricey side, as my flat was $ 11 and came with nothing more than that. Fresh costs more, so it’s an understandable reflection in the price.

Obviously they have the beignets here. The key to them is the secret recipe which gives them a delectable flavor and consistency that I haven’t found anywhere else. Ambiance and character of the old house where the restaurant is located is phenomenal and a small shop adds to the charm and quirkiness of the layout. Breakfast, Brunch, or just Coffee this is a must stop when in Biloxi.
