This is the cleanest, friendliest frozen yogurt location I’ve been to! If you have any questions about the ingredients, there is a nutritional facts listed right next to each flavor. Me and my friend wanted to try some samples and the worker was very trusting and gave us each a sample cup and left us without supervision, which was nice because most places the workers will hover over you and make you feel uncomfortable. I could not get over how clean the facility is. Everything was spotless. The only downside i’d say about my visit was that the mochi and gummies my friend got were a little stale, but I think it’s because this location doesn’t get as much business. I would rate it as a 4.5÷5 but since that isn’t an option I rounded it to 5 stars to balance the unfair 2 star review before me.

First, the good stuff. This franchise is very clean. Whenever i’ve gone in there, someone is always *always* walking around with a sweep broom or towel. The flavor selections are good, and the toppings selection is very good: lots of fruit and nuts, the later you don’t always find at these self-serve places. Here’s the bad news: they sweeten the yogurt with sorbitol. I couldn’t understand why I felt so awful after I’d been to this place — then I did some research on SweetKiwi’s corporate site, downloaded their nutritional info, and found that sorbitol was in every flavor. Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol that can cause extreme stomach distress(gas, loose bowels) even in small amounts(chewing gum, mints). Seriously, I’d rather eat HFCS instead of sorbitol given that froyo is a treat for me and not an RDA. The other thing that’s offputting about this particular shop are the owners. The first time we went in there, they seemed to be unhappy with my 12-year-old son, following him and giving him looks like he was up to no good. He felt very uncomfortable and eventually asked if we could take our yogurt outside. He’s extremely well behaved and well mannered — especially when his mother is standing next to him! — so I don’t know what their problem was. The next couple times we went there, they seem to have chilled. Maybe the place was so new and they just assumed boys are messy? However, there are two comfy-looking couches in front of the registers, and without fail they’ve got their paperwork spread across them or they’re sitting there. Aren’t these for customer use? Instead they leave the customers the uncomfortable(yet very clean) plastic chairs. They also seem to hound the young workers in front of customers, which is also offputting. I’m sorry to be so negative about Sweet Kiwi, but I really feel like the sorbitol issue is a big one that customers should know about.
