Exactly what we were looking for before we make our way to Yellowstone. The Bakery is located on the backside of the Broken foot(?) bar/restaurant. We ordered the health nut sandwich, a build your own calzone, several daily specials of 2 pizza slices and a drink, a spinach salad and a garden salad. The hubs had a beer and as for the food-there’s not a single crumb to show for any of it. The salad wasn’t anything out of the norm, the balsamic was yummy. The bread for the sandwich appeared freshly made and the sandwich was about 5″ thick. It looked amazing. The guys behind the counter were super friendly and patient with our indecisive crew. The patio was perfect for this early Summer lunch.

To start we had a hard time finding this place. Finally called for more specific directions. We got there. I ordered the Greek Salad and it was ok, but really not a true Greek salad. I did manage to eat the whole plate. My hubby ordered and loved the baked Italian sandwich, it was very good. So, story of my life… I eat salads and watch him enjoy whatever else isn’t under the salad category.

Anything you get here is amazing. The pizza, amazing. Sandwiches, amazing. Tasty treats, amazing. But my absolute favorite is an everything Benny. Do not leave Big Sky without trying one.

The food was very good, however the bad service was enough for us to never return. The majority of our order was forgotten, but that’s not the worst part. We waited at the counter to order a cookie and were ignored for 5 minutes. When we simply said«excuse me», we were rudely told that we need to wait while he made food. We were then ridiculed and told that someone needed to help us because we «needed help right away.» Not returning and do not recommend!

Ordered two pizzas for delivery after a long car ride to Big Sky. Splurged and paid $ 45 for 2 pizzas. The plain cheese for my kids was completely burnt and inedible. Driver was long gone before we realized. Very disappointed and hungry. Should have grabbed a frozen tombstone when we passed through Bozeman on our way here. :(maybe the food is better if you eat there?!?

Get a Benny with bacon before you hit the slopes and a pizza to warm up after. Best place for some carbs and coffee on a cold day. Can’t wait to try their other baked goods!

We ordered 4 sandwiches and received 3. Two of the three sandwiches were made incorrectly. We noticed the issue when we went home and immediately returned to the restaurant. We spoke with the supervisor and got our order remediated. Very slow staff… very distracted by each other. At least the bread was good?

Baked italian on ciabatta was the best sandwich I’ve had in the last year. It was on the more vinegary/salty side of things, which hit the spot. The mix of meats was just right without one overpowering everything else. Onions sliced thin. Ciabatta bread was amazing. Went up to the cashier to tell him the sandwich was excellent and he gave me a high five.

Seriously good food, awesome staff, but a bit pricey(yeah, I know… it’s in a resort area, but still.) A local friend of mine brought me to Blue Moon one morning for a bite to eat and some coffee. Upon a recommendation I had the«Benny» breakfast sandwich on a regular bagel, and holy cow it was awesome. Forget the bland tastes of unseasoned egg, plain overtoasted bagel, and limp breakfast meat sopped in grease from Dunkin Donuts or McDs… and rejoice at the awesome flavors of a properly seasoned egg, just moist enough, properly textured bagel, and ham and quality cheddar cheese(not some gross slice made of oils) that is the Benny sandwich. I had two last week and wasn’t disappointed. The coffee was also flavorful and hot at multiple times of day(Breakfast, aprés ski, and early evening). We also ordered pizzas one night, and while they were flavorful and better than chain pizza, the almost $ 50 for a couple of large pizzas made my eyes swell a bit. Such is the cost of delivery convenience in Big Sky. All in all it’s a good spot, and I wouldn’t hesitate to drop in for breakfast or a quick snack again, though the price alone might make you reconsider a pizza craving.

Very casual so not five star dining experience, but we really loved our food. A great draught beer. A delicious spinach salad. And the best of all item on the menu the pizza! We asked for a veggi and it was great. We came here after rafting all afternoon on the Gallatin River.

We got to town late and were hungry — we went to Blue Moon Café 15 minutes before closing time. They whipped up a delicious Vegetarian pizza that was cooked to perfection. They were very courteous and did not rush us out of there — we were so thankful that they let us order, we took our order back to our condo. I love their coffee and they some tasty sandwiches, too.

Ordered at 7:40, was told delivery would be an hour. Called at 9:00 and was told food was on the way and should be here any minute. Arrived at 9:35. Garlic cheese bread was cold, pizza was warm. Thankful for a microwave in our room. No apology on phone or from delivery guy. Would definitely not order from again. Would have gladly picked it up had we known it would be that long.

Decided to come here for brunch. I ordered the Benny(ham, egg, and cheddar cheese on a plain bagel), my friend got the Bacon Benny, and we got an order of Garlic Cheese Bread to share. The place had an upstairs balcony where we went up to sit. The décor of this place is very interesting with some really weird sculptures on the wall. But I’m not an «artsy» person so maybe I just don’t appreciate it. The music was unusual too. I guess it could be described as 60’s soul, but some sounded like slave music. I really did not care for it. But the food is what’s important and the breakfast sandwich was great. Tasted really fresh and hot. The garlic bread was good too, though I wouldn’t have minded even a bit more garlic and I wish the marinara dipping sauce had been hot rather than chilled. It had good flavor though. There were a lot of really tasty-looking items in their bakery case, but we were too full to try any. And their pizza looked really good too… we could see them hand braiding the crust. Wish we had a chance to try it!

I’ve ordered cake from here twice and both times it was extremely good. I have to admit I was unadventurous and went for the same kind both times(chocolate with cream cheese frosting) but both were delicious. You also get a lot of cake for a very reasonable price. I ordered the in advance both times and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. Last winter we also ordered pizza from here once. Unlike the cake the pizza is not cheap but as far as I know they’re the only place in Big Sky that delivers. The good news is that you get what you pay for and the pizza is both substantial and very tasty.

Delectable deli sandwiches and desserts. I would visit here every day for lunch if I had a fatter wallet and bigger appetite. Blue Moon Bakery was suggested to me by a friend who had visited Big Sky several times over the years. It’s a bakery that specializes in sweets all of all varieties, pizzas, and sandwiches. I was very satisfied by the cheese bread, sandwich, and a couple of desserts that I ordered for my table. The Garlic Cheese Bread — These were a pretty satisfying appetizer for the table. The serving portion is large at approximately 11“x7″. It’s a great dish for anyone who loves bread like myself, however, I wish they would have given us more pizza sauce to dip the sticks into. A good deal at $ 7.50. The Turkish Italian — Yum! What a great sandwich. The Turkish Italian is served on soft and chewy focaccia bread and adorned with turkey, pepperoni, onion, roasted red peppers, provolone cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce with a light dip of balsamic vinaigrette on the inside of the bun. This sandwich was delicious and I would highly recommend ordering it on your next visit. Desserts Chocolate Chip Cookie — Amazing! Very soft and chewy cookie with large chunks of chocolate inside each bite. German Chocolate Cake — Mediocre. Perhaps I am not a fan of German Chocolate cake, as I have never had it before, but I found this cake to be far to dry for my liking and lacking of true identity. The nuts, chocolate, and cake did not ever come together very well.

This is a wonderful little bakery located in the back of the shopping plaza of Big Sky. The cookies and baked good are delicious but the best feature is the pizza. Everything we tried at Blue Moon Bakery was wonderful. The atmosphere is fairly stark with a few tables to eat in and a table or two outdoors. Come for the food, not the ambiance.

I’m really jealous of the reviewer who saw a moose outside this place. We did not see any moose(… mooses… meese?!) but we REALLY enjoyed the food here. From the outside it kind of just looks like a small dinky bakery/deli, but looks are deceiving. This place serves extremely delicious food. For our appetizer(and in an attempt to be somewhat healthy) we ordered a large garden salad. Definitely was big enough for two people to share. I liked all the toppings — mushrooms, green peppers, red onions, croutons. And their balsamic vinaigrette was just the way I like it — super basic and simple. For our meal we ordered a medium pizza with sausage and spinach. When my friend bit into it he declared it «a slice of heaven!» We both agreed the crust was excellent, not greasy and not too thin or thick. I appreciated that the marinara sauce wasn’t too sweet or spread on too thick. I also appreciated that they LOADED the whole thing up with tons of cheese. I literally got full after one slice because there was so much cheese on it! We had three slices leftover to take home between the two of us. We had to save room for dessert because their bakery case looked so tempting. I got the chocolate brownie but wasn’t super impressed. I feel like it could’ve been a little moister/fudgier. But my friend really loved his cherry cheesecake crumble, so maybe I just ordered wrong. p. s. — I love that they have sweet tea! you rarely see that in places outside the south, but it’s so so good.
