House 2 Home Inspections

As a realtor, I’ve witnessed lots of inspections — some good, some bad. We chose Dale Estes when purchasing a home for ourselves in Big Bear. It was the first time using him (since I don’t do transactions in that part of California) and he was excellent. I’ve been to several inspections where I was pointing out problems to the inspector! Not here! Dale was very thorough and explained many things that we would need to know about having a home in the mountains. He explained some local code differences as well. He wrote a very clear inspection report for us and I had no problem using it to negotiate with the sellers. I highly recommend him!

Came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint! Dale was professional, thorough, friendly, and made himself available to us for any questions after the fact. He also is able to do mold testing and was able to do one on the spot when a mold-​like substance was uncovered in the home we had inspected.
He clearly knew what he was doing, put together a great report for us the same day as the inspection, and instilled confidence for us as we moved forward with the home buying process. He’s also well respected by real estate agents up here, and, according to all the agents I’ve asked, is considered the best inspector in Big Bear.
All in all, very satisfied and grateful our real estate agent connected us to him.
