Big bear off road recovery and towing

Staying in Big Bear a few days ago when several snow storms hit. We broke a snow chain trying to get back to our cabin. Had to leave our vehicle on the side of the road. Got in touch with Steve. He picked up our guys, brought them back to our vehicle, towed them up the hill and then followed them back to the cabin to make sure they arrived safely. Can’t say enough good things about his service. Very reasonably priced. Save his number if you get into a jam. Thanks Steve! You were a life saver!!!

I got stuck in a ditch out near Angelus Oaks one night with the possibility of my vehicle going over the edge. I was planning to just have some buddies of mine just come help pull it out but I figured it’d be best to have a professional do it; that is what I got. Steve was very much a professional at this. He even told me that this was a relatively simple fix and in the amount of time he did the job it sure seemed like it. He was very calm and it made me feel very much at ease too. He is also very reasonable with his pricing, so I was very grateful that I didn’t have to break to bank too much hahaha. My vehicle was out with in 30min of when we got to it and with no damage to it. Super grateful that I found him on Unilocal

Steve & his crew are awesome! We had a 1948 Willy’s Jeep Wagon with 2 broken control arms, no way that vehicle was going anywhere. We were up a small, fairly rough track (3N11 at the junction with 3N17), it would have been impossible for us to get the Jeep out on our own. BB Off-​Road Recovery were fast & very efficient. They strapped up the axle, hauled that Willy’s onto their off road trailer & back to Big Bear within 3 hours. The rest of us finished our trip & Phil got his Jeep back to civilization. Highly recommend keeping their number handy if you off road in the Big Bear area.

I was stuck on Gold Mountain when my H3 Hummer snapped a left steering tie rod. Steve Thompson and his team came to my rescue. They helped call up the parts supplier in town and get the proper part ordered. They helped create a short-​cut that allowed the vehicle to be driven onto their off-​road trailer. They took immense care of the vehicle as they brought it back to Big Bear. Helped me get a discounted cottage for the night. Took me to the Parts store and installed the part and aligned my front end. I couldn’t be more please.
