My boyfriend and I just returned from out stay at the cabin! We had a wonderful and relaxing time! Gary does an excellent job making sure you will have everything for a worry free stay! He provided shampoo, body wash, make up remover and a blow dryer in the bathroom! The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans as well as having suggestions on places to eat out! Gary also made sure to provide us with a comfortable stay for our dog as well! There was dog treats, an extra leash and dog bowls in case we needed it! I would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in big bead!

My family and I just returned from Memorial Day weekend at the Flying Bear Cabin. We all enjoyed our stay there. The owners are very detailed and did a great job of labeling everything so that we knew what and where everything was. There was a binder they put together of restaurant recommendations and things to do in the area, which we utilized. House was really clean and cozy. Kitchen is really spacious and well appointed! My husband LOVED the massage recliner chair in the living room and sat in it most of the time. My kids loved that I put their names down as the pilots on duty. We loved using the Netflix, wifi, and kid friendly DVDs that were available. There is enough bedding for 5 people but I personally think the space is better for a group of 4. If you have a dog, this place would be great! The owner is very nice, and recommended that we visit the zoo and rent a pontoon boat for our family. We did both and we all enjoyed ourselves!(I recommend you make reservations for a pontoon boat if you plan to do that. Luckily I made reservations, as I saw several parties in line ahead of me get turned away because there was nothing available). Overall this is a great place to stay and relax to enjoy the beauty of Big Bear!
