Put 2 stars because of a awsome view!!! I understand that bar is made for tourist, but our bartender were the worst one i have ever got! It was busy(on a tuesday) but not crazy busy, come on… The bartender«Ralph» dont look who goes 1st on the line. After 15 mn that i waited, i ask him if there is any real line, he told me that he goes right to the left… I never moved my place, but he took some customers on the left and then some in the right and left again… Finally walk away after 25 mn without a drink. That was ridiculous! I guess I will take a 6 pack with me next time

What a great outdoor bar and spot to eat while you’re at the Big Bear Resort! They’re not always open, depending on the day of the week/anticipated crowds, but when they’re open they’re great! This is an outdoor eatery at the base of the slopes in the middle of all the action. A server will bring your drinks to the table, or you can walk right up and get your own. All of the eateries and the food court are located in the same building, so you can grab your food and enjoy the sun and skiing/snowboarding entertainment. The drinks, like everything at the Resort, are overpriced, but it’s what you’d expect from any similar location. Definitely worth it, and you can enjoy the gorgeous SoCal temps the whole time.

Outdoors bar at the base of Bear Mountain(facing the slopes)…Yeeeeesss Please. They have a full bar with a lot of beer options on tap. The drinks are nice and strong. The Bloody Mary is my favorite drink here. Very easy to get in and out with a lot of places to sit and a lot of places to rack your equipment. They even have some tables with fire pits to stay warm. On hot days, this place is perfect for sun bathing and getting that mid winter tan. Whom ever thought of this idea gets a handshake from me. It truly is a beach at the slopes here.

Possibly the best outdoor base-level bar at a California ski resort. The Beach Bar faces Bear Mountain and you can watch skiers and snowboarders come down the mountain. It’s situated perfectly so that it gets sun pretty much all day, making it a great place for the lodge bunny friend to hang out. It’s super-easy to ski-in and ski-out to grab food and drinks without taking too much time away from the slopes. Good selection, solid pours, friendly and fast bartenders make this a favorite!
