We had lots of fun on the 3 line, just long enough for us. Our guides were fantastic and we would come back again with our teenager next time for the 5 line.

My four friends and I went ziplining this past weekend and it was awesome. Both our guides: Michelle and Big Red, were very friendly and funny and knowledgeable. We did the 3 zip one. I would recommend doing the 5 zip one because 3 isn’t enough! It’s would have been way better to do 5. It was really fun and I recommend this business to zip line at.

We had a blast and absolutely love the Flying Bear Zip Line. This review is a little late, but I figured better late than never. This was our first experience with Zip lining and they made us feel really safe and comfortable. There was a wide range of ages on our tour, from 7 or 8 to, well… older. Big Red made us feel very comfortable with everything we did and we had an absolute blast. It was so beautiful and got some great pictures of the lake. I recomend taking the 5 zip tour, it was well worth the little more money you pay. Flying Bear Zip Line is definitaly the best zip line in Big Bear, don’t waste your time with the others.

My first real zip line experience. Did the 5 zip tour. My 11.5 year old son had a blast. One zip goes onto a tree platform 90+ feet off the ground and then you zip out of it. Every time someone would zip in or out the tree would sway… Good times. I almost gave 4 stars because I feel there are more«thrilling» zip lines out there but until I experience them I will give them the 5 for the wonderful guides and the experience being so nice. Took us 3+ hours. First hour you gear up and learn to zip on the«Cub» cable. Zipping is fun but then there is the waiting for everyone else. Might try Action Zip lines next as they have 9 lines.

Came up here a few days ago with some friends visiting from Ohio. We drove up from Pasadena… and did the 5-line run. They loved the seemingly dangerous and curvy drive up the mountain, and we enjoyed relaxing by the lake until it was time to go. The guides were entertaining, well versed in what they were doing and patient. We had a total group of about 13 and we were gone about 2 ½ hours. Some lines where fast, some where relaxing, some we SCARY(zipping to a tree top and sitting up there until EVERYONE was there)… We had fun, and there were GREAT views of the lake as you went across. It was quite intimidating to be on a platform atop a tree, feeling the tree sway as each person make the trek across to you… felt as if we tried hard enough… the tree would sway and bend to the ground. However, you felt safe the entire time, and well taken care of. A guy even did it with his 3 year old daughter along… who was oh so brave… Loved it… will be back again I am sure

This was such a great experience! I was looking for something different to do in Big Bear and I found it. I surprised my boyfriend and he loved it too. Our guides, Devin and Big Red, were very friendly, funny, competent, and made me feel safe. We went on a very warm day in March and there was still a lot of snow on the ground which made for beautiful views. I’ve zip lined in Costa Rica and even though this doesn’t quite compare it was very close! I can’t wait to go back for their midnight moonlight zip in the summer or the night time meteor shower zip. I gave them 5 stars because it’s definitely one of the best activities(and friendliest staff) in the area. I highly recommend it.

Just got back from my first time ziplining today! Went with three of my girlfriends from L.A. The drive this time of year in the fall was so beautiful and half the fun. We were all impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. We felt really safe and supported through our whole trip. We did 5 ziplines and each one had its own unique gift. One floated over an immense cavern, another to a huge pine tree that you zip over too, another was by the lake and stretched over a good distance so you could take your time and look at the beauty that was all around. You can tell instantly that the staff from Flying Bear love their job. Big Red was awesome and made it an immensely fun experience for us all. Thanks and hope to come back soon!

It was fun & thrilling to go on the ziplines. You never felt unsafe. The crew put safety first in making sure everyone had proper instructions & equipment. There even was a baby zip line so you could get a feel. I have been on ziplines in Costa Rica. You can’t really compare it to being in the rainforest canopy, but it is as good as it gets for a quick thrill on a weekend trip from LA o SD.

This was a BLAST! My wife and I went here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had Red and another lady(I forget her name) as our instructors. They were great! Red is a big guy like me(250 lbs), and gave me sound advice on how to zip properly. We did the Grizzly Tour(5 zips; ~4 hrs). The scenery is so beautiful; views are breathtaking, and the zip-lining is great! I especially liked the tree-house. It’s a little spooky being up 100′ in a tree on a wooden platform, and then having the tree sway whenever someone arrives or departs from it – but you NEVER feel unsafe. The equipment they use is top notch, everything was safe, and we had a BLAST! We even had 2 children in our party doing tandem zips with their parents. I would not recommend tandem zips with children under 4 years old, like these 2 were, but they seemed to enjoy it(they were getting fussy towards the end because they were tired). We will definitely visit again! They even offer night zips, and zips in the winter time! GREAT job Flying Bear!!!

I’m sure it doesn’t compare to zip lining in Costa Rica or Mexico, but zip lining in Big Bear was super fun!!! The tour guides were so nice and helpful. They were pretty awesome. I had a great time there and would definitely go again, maybe in the winter. I absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for some adventure in LA.
