Had a bunch of us staying in a cabin and didn’t want to cook. Hoping for delivery but they said it would be faster to pick up so… ok. Had beef chow fun, asparagus with shrimp, fried rice, dumplings, beef & broccoli and Kung pao chicken. All were good, not fantastic. Portions were smaller than average but still enough to feed our crowd, just no leftovers. I’d come back.

Found Dynasty on Happy Cow before traveling here. Glad we took a chance and stopped in for dinner. Their menu has a whole page of veggie dishes and tofu options. They even had veggie egg rolls. I ordered sweet and sour tofu and hubby had broccoli and mushroom with soft tofu added. We both had brown rice. We both enjoyed our dishes. The veggies were the right crispness. The sweet and sour sauce wasn’t overly sweet. The sauce for the broccoli dish was perfect. The building is older and doesn’t look like a restaurant from the front since parking is in the rear. The interior was just fine and clean.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing. The owner makes you feel at home and takes pride in every dish. If you don’t have time to sit and have dinner call for take out or even get delivery! Love this place.

Food is somewhat acceptable and is quickly prepared and served. The main problem with this place is that it takes an arm and a leg to get your bill.

This place is so bad. My friends and I couldn’t even eat it. Walked out and got mcdonalds from down the road. The chicken came out ice cold. It felt like it was in a fridge. We sent it back and it came back still cold on the edges. My friend said his shrimp tasted cheap and frozen. The water cups were also very dirty. One of them still had some kind of gunk on it from the last customer. I’m still mad at myself for even paying for this.

We made order for delivery, it came fast! We ordered peeking duck, fried rice, stir fry, salt pepper chicken wings and soup. All for $ 62. It was good, duck had plenty taste. Fried rice was a little salty, and chicken was kinda dry. But everything was overall yummy! Very convient for us, since it was too late to go out and was cold and tired…

Current rating on Unilocal is 3.5 and that’s exactly what we would give it. Environment is clean, staff is friendly, service was timely. Prices a little on the higher end and for what you’re getting. Food was decent but not extraordinary, you’d expect a little bit more in quality for those higher prices. There was one food item that was a little disappointing but when we asked for a substitute they were very nice and friendly and accommodating, had no concerns taking it back, offering a subsiute, serving it and making sure they stayed until we tasted it and approved of it before they left the table. Their fried rice, panfried dumplings, half bar b que duck, and egg flower soup we’re all very good and fresh tasting and I can easily recommend those as the better items we had.

We just ordered delivery and everything was delicious! We had the orange peel chicken, egg rolls, green beans w/pork and chicken fried rice. We will be repeat customers. Everything is SO tasty and filling without feeling heavy or greasy. We just moved here and are happy to have our new go-to Chinese food place! Portions are large and my son(14 yr old) and I will have enough for leftovers tomorrow. The only thing I can complain about is I wish we had ordered more egg rolls. We got delivery and there is a 7 $ charge for that(which seems like a lot).but it is Super Bowl Sunday and we tried to pick up some take out earlier and found zero parking. So it was worth the delivery fee for the convenience. Great, great food. Excited to try more dishes.

Decided to give this place another chance because our last visit was a busy holiday weekend. This time, we ordered for pick up. Unfortunately, our meal was pretty disappointing once again. We ordered the Orange Peel Chicken and Schezwan Beef — and both the chicken and beef were unappetizingly chewy. We also ordered the Wonton Soup — and there was literally two wontons in the entire thing. I will say that the Chow Mein was absolutely delicious… I would maybe come here again just if I was craving some yummy noodles. It’s just not the same as the old restaurant at the airport… That place was absolutely amazing. Too bad…

We actually ordered delivery from here. It came quickly and faster than they quoted us. We got the spicy udon which was SO good! It was spicy but not overpowering. The salt and pepper chicken wings were really tasty but didn’t really have that spice kick I was looking for. The shrimp fried rice was perfect. We also got the sweet and pungent shrimp which was really tasty as well.

Dynasty? more like… Nas… Okay, I won’t say it. Although there was a lot of stuff I enjoy here like the big seating area, the Peking duck, and reasonable price, there was a lot that we’re all questionable: first the green beans. The green beans were not green and but blisters brown. It looked over burnt and made me wonder why they had to cook them so well like that. My wine glass was dirty and smelled dirty, when I looked inside, there was all these cork sentiment inside. Our server was sweet to give us a new glass. My fork was chipped and I constantly has this anxiety that it was going to cut my tongue so I ended up using chopsticks for the rest of the night then grabbed someone else’s fork from the table… The food is very reasonable, I loved the Peking duck and the presentation. Our server even individually assembled it for us. Lobster was also good. Our server was very sweet and accommodating throughout!

Today ½/2016 David and Lori had dinner at 1400 hrs. Service was outstanding. The meal was outstanding. Dinner was so good we left a huge tip. Meal was crisp and fresh vegetables for me, asparagus sprouts and almond chicken. BEST ever. Lori also loved her serving too. High five to the folks at Dynasty in big bear CA.

The flavoring of the food was good. We ordered Kung pao scallop, orange peeled chicken, and salt and pepper squid. The only problem was the orange peeled chicken and the King pao chicken came out a little cold. We sent it back and only one of the plates came out a little warmer. Our orange peeled chicken was still cold. Our server was kind enough to see if we wanted a new plate, but we were already halfway done with our meal. When we got our bill, our server actually took the orange peeled chicken off our bill. We were actually surprised. That was good customer service. Since we only come up here once a year, I’m sure we’ll come back again.

Decided to have this on Christmas Eve! Delivery was 10 minutes early, which was great. Driver was nice and appreciative of the tip. Food was good. Quality was better. Beef with broccoli was fantastic, Kung pao was great, as well as the chow mein and fried rice. Much better than some of the other places in the IE and makes Panda Express seem awful. Would definitely come back and recommend it.

This weekend we needed to find a place for our family to have a nice meal together. We decided to go to Dynasty because of all the positive reviews and were pleasantly surprised. They had some nice large seating areas to fit our large group and had a very good waitress who was very patient and helpful with us. They had everything to make our group happy from mixed drinks to fine wine. Then the food came and oh my it was the best Chinese food I have ever had and we even had some items I have been looking for and have not seen in a long time! Like fresh scallops and tomattoe beef!!! At the end our family was very happy and even greated with some fresh snow!!! Definitely an evening to remember for a long time!

Charming place, very noisy though(we were close to a table of a bunch of people who were talking SO loud!). Waitress very nice. Very large choice in the menu. I ordered slices of lamb that came with onions, but it is not written in the menu’s detail and I am allergic to onions. They were very nice and re-cooked my dish quickly. Very tasty lamb with cilantro! The sticky steamed rice was not the best, and my son & his Dad did not eat their vanilla ice cream. My husband told the server that the taste of the ice cream was«strange». The lychee was not wonderful neither. The server always stayed nice and offered us 3 little cookies with the check. A quite good experience for our 1st stay in Big Bear Lake!

If your family is in the area and craving Chinese food this is not a bad place to eat at. Overall, I did not see or taste anything that I couldn’t get in any Chinese restaurant. The food was OK and definitely not bad. Then owner, is very nice and extremely accommodating and tried to make sure we were happy. One problem, is that the waitress, did not speak English well or understand what we ordering, nor could she answer any questions. This was frustrating. I had to get the owner and ask him my questions and make sure our order was properly taken down. During our meal, my kids wanted to add fried rice without egg or vegetables. When I asked our waitress for this, she did not understand a word I was saying. I just got really frustrated and went to get the owner and once again had to speak with him. Please, if someone cannot communicate with the customers, put them in a different position. I was born abroad and understand learning English. Please don’t do it on my dime. You are driving your own business away. Overall, I would come back here, and avoid that waitress.

After reading some of the previous reviews, im pretty sure the negative ones have got it all wrong. Firstly, for being the only chinese restaurant in this area, theyre VERY authentic and have fair prices. Fast service and good food. A bit saltier than my palette prefers but still good. Not sure why some people are so negative. Im normally highly skeptical of asian restaurants in predominantly Caucasian areas but this place made me feel right at home for obvious and not so obviois reasons. We had the DYNASTYHOTPOT which was different than what i would expect in a hot pot. They have glass noodles at the bottom, a lighter soup base, and tons of shrimp. I liked the flavor of the broth a lot. We also had the ORANGEPEELCHICKEN and the STEAMEDCHICKENINSOYSAUCE/GINGER. Loved the flavors of the orange chicken and how it was tender pieces of meat. The steamed chicken was good too but i felt it was a bit oily. The sauce was good though. Light and savory. For veggies, we had the SAUTEEDSPINACH and the SZECHUANEGGPLANT. The spinach had diced garlic in it and was well seasoned. The eggplant was their achilles heel. Definitely way too oily, salty, and balance of onions and meat to eggplant was off. Huge slices of eggplant, barely any onion too add crunch to the eggplant which normally has a slimy consistency. Also — definitely not enough pork. Overall though, the food was good and the service was GREAT. Loved that it was authentic.
