Good beer and good food! The avocado bomb appetizer is a must! My husband and I will be dreaming about that appetizer until we return to Big Bear. We split a salad and the buffalo chicken flat bread pizza. Both were delicious. Good atmosphere with great service and food

Really enjoyed ourselves! A group of20 and they really tried to accommodate us. The staff was super friendly and the food was super good!

Good beer, great food. The avocado bomb appetizer was delicious and innovative. Well prepared salmon as the main course was spot on. The place was really packed Saturday night. Nice to see a real microbrewery restaurant at Big Bear. We’ll be back.

I was in search for a fast acting beer and the bartender suggested their house IPA. So I got a pint and to my surprise it really packed a punch! It totally did the trick for me, but of course one is never enough…
Food was amazing. We had the trio sausage appetizer and cheesy beer fries.
The place was packed but service at the bar was flawless.

Definitely an awesome spot if you get into town late and are looking for a delicious meal and refreshing beverage. The waitress sold my boyfriend and I on the Ahi Avocado appetizer (I’m not a fan of raw things, but she made it sound so tasty!). Definitely worth a trip back, next time we’re up there.

This place is very solid. Sat us much faster than the original estimate the hostess told us. Loved the widdowmaker burger. The beer was good.
Only thing I didn’t like was the calamari. It was super weird. Giant strips of calamari steak that were slightly over cooked.

Beer and Food is simply amazing!
Avocado bombs are BOMB! Fish n Chips are to die for and the freshness of the Kobe beef on the burger is on point.
The beer… Some of the best beers I’ve had. There is so much flavor. Order the flight… You won’t be disappointed.
Service… I was a little worried when we first walked in because the hostess was a little grumpy. But our server Brandon has totally made this first experience well worth it! He was so nice and on top of everything.

Popped in post skiing to get some dinner and there was quite the crowd. Fortunately, my girlfriend and I were able to grab a spot at the bar with some luck. I ended up going with the Winslow Chocolate Porter to drink, which was fantastic. One of the best I have had from a local brewery in a while. For food, my girlfriend ordered the fish and chips, which she found enjoyable. I on the other hand, went the opposite of the pescatarian route and went with the Widowmaker Burger, an onslaught of meat. It was a mammoth plate accompanied by some potatoes. Both the potatoes and burger were on point and did not leave me hungry whatsoever. I was quite surprised at the quality of Big Bear Brewing Company and we loved the conversation that we had at the bar. Definitely a spot we would return to.

Awesome food and beer! Our waitress Nancy took such great care of us that we wanted to take her home. She recommended the avocado bomb appetizer and it was fantastic!!! Everything she suggested was spot on and we even got a private tour of the brewing room :-)

Two words: avocado bomb!
Popped in for a bite and wanted to try their beer flight. Unfortunately they were already out of 4 of their microbrews — it was only 2pm? So we just picked from whatever they still were pouring. Luckily the avocado bomb helped make up for the lack of beer flights.
I am so gonna have to make this avocado bomb in my own kitchen. Baked avocado filled with crabby goodness and tuna.
No one should leave Big Bear without having an Avocado Bomb!

We were here with a party of 10 and kids. From the entrance to the end of the meal it was excellent. Every single waiter was so kind and attentive. The corned beef sandwich, the BBQ chicken sandwich, the salmon with the potatoes, fish and chips and the chili was excellent. The house beers were awesome.

If ever there was a time in your life when you just wanted a head-​sized, fresh, salty pretzel — Big Bear BrewCo is the place worth driving to. I also enjoyed their awesome veggie burger. Every bite of it. Beer flight, the small-​portion sample of locally brewed beers… is just great fun. Not a big beer drinker, so I’m not even going to try to judge beer. All beer tastes the same to me. Except colors lite. And bud light. They taste like p***. Anyway, I digress.
I went to this place twice; once during lunchtime on a weekend when it was ridiculously busy… and their kitchen was struggling to keep up. I waited 20 – 30 mins for the food to come. The yesterday, I went there on a relatively quiet day and it was a rest experience.
I have nothing but praise for the staff, everyone is very friendly, knowledgable and makes you feel welcome.

This review is just for the beer. Visited Big Bear for the first time in December and visited this place.
We got the flight sampler with the pumpkin ale. Let me say ALL the beers on site were fantastic and smooth! But by far the pumpkin was the best this place is a must go to for craft beer lovers, and the prices were reasonable in addition to the excellent customer service. Will be returning

This review is only for the drinks! Came here after having dinner at the Indian restaurant across the street (go there).
The brewing co is two stories amd we sat upstairs at the bar, cool vibe and busy! I was crazy about my barely legal honey blonde, could taste the honey, so delicious. My bf had the high altitude hefe and liked it so much that he ended up purchasing a growler for $ 20.
We also tried a flight of 6 beers and got an extra pour on the house. Bartenders are really nice and attentive. A lot of people were having dinner so we will have to come back and check out the menu.

Great food and beer! My husband loved the flight, they were out of one beer so the awesome lady let him choose his favorite from the flight to replace that missing one.
We ordered their appetisers and they were all delicious! My favorite is the avocado bomb.

We came in last week for lunch (on a Saturday). We arrived just before 1 and there was a wait and the host stand was quite crowded. We were a group of 6 of and were quoted 20 – 25, and were seated in that time. We grabbed beers while we waited. Beers were reasonably priced $ 5.50 before tax $ 6.05 total, I had the wheat, my hubby had the IPA, and a friend had the a seasonal, pumpkin. Our beers were good but my friend truly enjoyed hers, which was uniquely sugar rimmed.
We were seated upstairs and waited quite sometime to be helped. We finally asked one of the staff who took our table even though it wasn’t his section. Thanks Ryan-​we were very hungry at this point.
As soon as he came over we placed our full order, a few apps, lunch and adult beverage refills.
The food was alright but all came at once, and one appetizer was missing. We advised him and he didn’t charge us. My hubby and I shared the ahi stack (see pic), I had the Reuben (see pic) and he had a burger. After being helped it was a good experience.

Only stopped in for a beer. The food looked ok but we didn’t try any.
As far as a pit stop for a beer and watch the weather go by it’s a nice place.

Great place to dine with friends anytime, day or night, weekday, or weekend.
We love sitting on the patio upstairs outside.

Don’t understand why the reviews are so low here! I’ve gone here twice already while on vacation. Beers are good! AND THE MULES! I’ve had steak, sausage platter, avocado bombs, salad and other foods; never was disappointed with all that!
I’d definitely come back again! LOVE FOOD AND BEER HERE!
