Tim Evans Satellite

As Big Bear Lake has no over-​air-​television service or fiber-​optic service, I needed cable or satellite TV. I chose satellite, it being slightly cheaper.
Mr. Evans was informative and pleasant. He explained the various plan options I had. Once I selected a plan, Mr. Evans came out promptly and installed my satellite dish with no hassles. While it’s a little early yet to tell, everything seems to be working fine and I have no complaints about the installation or service, per se.
This has nothing to do with Mr. Evans, but I do object to DishNet’s use of «low-​ball» introductory prices, which then jump higher after one-​year (even though the contract is for two years). The local cable company does exactly the same thing, so all I can say is ask your television provider what your rate will be AFTER the introductory price expires.
