Cru Brew is a coffee shop in the center of Capital University’s campus, in the lounge of Saylor-Ackerman Hall. They brew Starbucks coffee(though usually not to Starbucks quality) and serve a variety of pastries, snack items and sandwiches. Food is a bit on the pricey side, around $ 7 for a pre-made, not-very-good ham and cheese sandwich, and most of the student workers aren’t very friendly. The remodeled lounge adjacent from the café is pretty nice, though — contemporary furniture and art, large screen televisions, a few computers and study tables and couch areas. — Open from 7a to 7:30p — Must be a student(or know a student’s password) to access wifi/computers — Accepts credit cards(other campus dining options don’t.) — Parking at Capital is pretty impossible. To park in the«visitor» lot in front of here, you need a «visitor» pass from Public Safety. Just park on the street — if you can.
